Air transport liberalisation in the European Union and its impact on development of the civil aviation sector in Poland

The objective of this paper is to present an overview of the process of air transport liberalisation within the European Community and its influence on development of the aviation market in Poland. The paper describes the stages of air transport liberalisation in the European Community and its implementation to the Polish market. The special focus is given to problems of existing effects of air transport liberalisation and perspectives of its development. The study primarily intends to examine market structure changes of the Polish civil aviation sector and air traffic dynamics over the years of Polish integration with the European Union, presenting the most up-to-date available statistics

Lifestyle and health related behaviors of middle school students from city and village schools

Health behaviors determine human health in the highest degree. Physical activity, balanced nutrition and avoidance of risky behaviors, such as smoking, alcohol abuse or unjustified slimming is a starting point to keep healthy for many years. Extremely important is creating health related behaviors in youth period, because then learned habits and behaviors are becoming established and find reflection in the next years of human life. The object of this thesis is an attempt to estimate the level of health related behaviors and lifestyle of middle school students from city and village schools

Efekt prozatorski w poezji José Hierro

W hiszpańskiej myśli powojennej zaakcentowany zostaje związek człowieka z otoczeniem. Jednostka postrzegana jest w żywy sposób jako cząstka swego środowiska, pogrążona w nim i utworzona przez nie. ("Ja to ja, oraz moje uwarunkowanie zewnętrzne” - powie Jose Ortega y Gasset). W sztuce zauważa się silną identyfikację "ja" indywidualnego z "ja" społecznym. Wypowiadać się autentycznie oznacza być rzecznikiem wielu. Słowo poety zabarwia się rejestrem codziennym. Liryka unika efektów dekoracyjnych i dąży do tonu naturalnego, bezpośredniego, bliskiego mowie potocznej. Najwartościowsze utwory tej tendencji - zawierają liczne elementy "prozaiczne" - pozostają naturalnie dalekie od ducha prozy. Stwarzają jedynie złudzenie prozaiczności. Praca analizuje sposoby konstruowania tego złudzenia w twórczości powojennej Jose Hierro (Ziemia bez nas, 1947; Radość, 1947; Z kamieniami i wiatrem, 1950; Rocznik 42, 1953; Posągi spoczywające, 1954; Co wiem o sobie, 1957). Obok szeregu elementów "prozatorskich" (takich jak słownictwo potoczne, mowa niezależna, uwagi w formie dygresji, ...) występuje bogactwo Środków poetyckich. Spotykamy nierzadko ustępy będące jednocześnie nośnikami akcentów "prozaicznych" i efektu lirycznego (tropy i paralelizmy oparte o zwroty potoczne). Pierwiastek "prozaiczny" utrzymuje się zawsze w wersach Hierro w funkcji zabiegu artystycznego. Teksty autora zestawiono z fragmentami twórczości poetyckiej Gabriela Celaya przekraczającej czasem subtelną granicę między dwoma gatunkami

A Longitudinal Study of E-Commerce Diversity in Europe

Owing to increased access to the Internet and the development of electronic commerce, e-commerce has become a common method of shopping in all countries. The purpose of this study is more precisely to research e-commerce diversity in Europe at the regional level and develop the conception of “E-commerce Supply Chain Management”. Statistical data derived from the European Statistical Ofce were applied to analyse the spatial diversity of e-retailing. Assessments of the regional diversity of e-retailing applied geographic information systems and exploratory spatial data analysis methods such us global and local spatial autocorrelation statistics. Clusters of regions with similar household preferences related to online shopping were identifed. A spatial visualisation of the e-retailing diversity phenomenon may be utilised for the reconfguration of supply chains and to adapt them to actual household preferences related to shopping methods
