    EFEKTIVITAS PENERAPAN PROJECT-BASED LEARNING BERBASIS OUTDOOR STUDY DENGAN BANTUAN MICROSOFT TEAMS UNTUK MENINGKATKAN PEMAHAMAN KONSEP

    This research aimed to describe the effectiveness of implementing project-based learning with outdoor study using the assistance of Microsoft Teams to increase conceptual understanding from the material about heat and its transfer. Participants in this research were 31 students of class VII in SMPN 42 Surabaya. This research used a pre-experimental with one group pretest-posttest design. Data collection techniques were conducted by pretest-posttest and questionnaire responses. The result from a paired t-test showed a significant difference between pretest and posttest scores to increase students' conceptual understanding. The N-Gain test pointed out that 55% of students were in the medium category while the other 45% were in the high category after implementing project-based learning on an outdoor study using Microsoft Teams. Students' responses to the learning process indicated that 81.41% had positive responses.     Pembelajaran matematika kurang optimal karena keterbatasan media pembelajaran. Sebagian besar guru hanya mengandalkan materi dan latihan manual, yang terlalu membatasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuat media pembelajaran audiovisual berbasis aplikasi Canva pada pembelajaran tematik kelas 1 SD. Jenis penelitian ini adalah pengembangan media berdasarkan model pengembangan four-D. Karena keterbatasan peneliti, pengembangan media ini baru sampai pada tahap pengembangan. Dengan kata lain baru sampai tahap validasi oleh validator. Subjek penelitian ini adalah dua profesional media, dua profesional materi, dan dua praktisi, serta lima belas siswa. Metode pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah metode observasi, wawancara, dan kuesioner. Data dianalisis secara kualitatif dan kuantitatif dengan menggunakan rumus rata-rata untuk mendapatkan skor efikasi rata-rata. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media audiovisual berbasis aplikasi Canva Tematik pada topik 'Diriku (Aku dan Teman Baruku) memperoleh skor relevansi 4,73 untuk ahli materi dan 4,92 untuk ahli media Berdasarkan media audiovisual dari Pengembangan pembelajaran berbantu aplikasi Canva

    Muhammadiyah Final Year Students' Perceptions of Cadre Education

    The purpose of this study was to explain the perceptions of the final year students of FKIP UMPRI towards Muhammadiyah and as a material for evaluating the advancement of Muhammadiyah cadre education methods within the university scope. This analysis is categorized as a descriptive study with a survey method. The research subjects during this study were all final year students in the 2019-2020 academic years from five study programs in FKIP UMPRI. The data analysis technique in this study was the following subsequent steps: (1) determining the score; (2) confirming the category; (3) creating the evaluation results using the program Excel Microsoft 2010. The results of this study are the perceptions of UMPRI final year students towards Muhammadiyah at the amount of antipathy to Muhammadiyah by 7%, the level of neutrality towards Muhammadiyah by 38%, the level of sympathy for Muhammadiyah by 35%, and also the level of Muhammadiyah cadres by 20%.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menjelaskan persepsi mahasiswa tingkat akhir FKIP (Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan) UMPRI (Universitas Muhammadiyah Pringsewu Lampung) terhadap Muhammadiyah dan sebagai bahan evaluasi kemajuan metode pendidikan kader Muhammadiyah di lingkungan universitas. Analisis penelitian ini metode deskriptif dengan metode survei, subjek penelitian selama penelitian ini adalah seluruh mahasiswa tingkat akhir tahun akademik 2019-2020 dari lima prodi di FKIP UMPRI. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini: (1) menentukan skor; (2) mengkonfirmasikan kategori; (3) Membuat hasil evaluasi dengan menggunakan program Excel Microsoft 2010. Hasil penelitian ini adalah persepsi mahasiswa tahun akhir UMPRI terhadap Muhammadiyah yaitu tingkat antipati terhadap Muhammadiyah sebesar 7%, tingkat netralitas terhadap Muhammadiyah sebesar 38%, tingkat simpati terhadap Muhammadiyah sebesar 35%, demikian pula tingkat kader Muhammadiyah sebesar 20%

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing berbantuan lembar kegiatan siswa (LKS) terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian ini telah dilakukan di MTs Negeri Kota Kupang pada semester II kelas VII Tahun Ajaran 2018/2019. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu (Quasi Eksperimen Design) dengan menggunakan purpossive sampling. Sampel dikelompokan menjadi dua kelas yaitu eksperimen dan kontrol. Sampel kelas eksperimen terdiri dari 36 siswa pada kelas VII F sedangkan pada kelas kontrol kelas VII D terdiri dari 33 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan tes hasil belajar siswa, lembar observasi dan angket respon siswa terhadap model pembelajaran yang diterapkan serta perangkat pembelajaran berupa Silabus, RPP dan LKS inkuiri terbimbing. Teknik analisis data secara kuantitatif berdasarkan analisis statistik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini diperoleh nilai rata-rata postest untuk kelas eksperimen (VIIF) yaitu 75,69 yang termasuk kriteria tinggi dan kelas kontrol (VIID) 50,45 yang termasuk kriteria rendah. Hasil penelitian hasil belajar siswa diperoleh nilai uji-t pada taraf a 0,05 dengan df 67 diperoleh nilai sig. 0,000 < 0,05 maka H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa ada pengaruh model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing berbantuan LKS terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas VII MTs Negeri Kota Kupang Tahun Ajaran 2018/2019

    This study aims to determine the process of applying and improving learning outcomes, activities in the use of prezi applications in grade IV students of MI Muhammadiyah 25 Surabaya. This type of research is Class Action Research (PTK). The subjects of this study are 26 students of grade IV MI Muhammadiyah 25 Surabaya for the 2022 academic year. This research can improve mathematical performance, especially in expressing mathematical sentences. The data collection process is carried out through observation and testing methods. The implementation of this study took place in two cycles. The results obtained from the action on cycle I averaged 53.8% increased to 80.8% in cycle II. The improvement in cycle II has reached classical completion so that there is no need for the next cycle, so it can be concluded that the application of interactive mathematics learning media assisted by the prezi application can improve student learning outcomes and student activities.

    Pyrolysis process using abundantly available biomass waste fabric is a promising, renewable, and sustainable energy supply for bio-oil production. In this study, the pyrolysis of waste biomass determines the highest yield of diverse parameters of material type, temperature, reactor, method, and analysis used. From the differences in the parameters stated above, there is an opportunity to select the proper parameters to get the desired nice and quantity of bio-oil and the very best bio-oil yield. The maximum yield of each bio-oil product for pyrolysis primarily based on the above parameters was 68.9%; 56.9%; 44.4%; 44.16%; 41.05%; 39.99%.     It is not easy for students to understand the questions in the form of stories so that errors often occur in the process of solving problems. This study aims to describe the factors that cause vocational students' errors in solving story problems based on Anne Newman. This research is a qualitative research. The instrument used in this research is a test which consists of 3 questions and an interview guide. The subjects in this study were students of class XII TKJ SMK Patria Gadingrejo. Analysis of the data using the analysis of the location of student errors based on Anne Newman's procedure, namely a) reading the problem, understanding the problem, b) transforming the problem, c) process skills, and d) writing the final answer. The factors that cause student errors at each stage are: 1) misunderstood the problem, the cause of which is the lack of understanding and thoroughness of students; 2) problem transformation errors, the reason is that students do not master the concept and do not have mastery of the material; 3) process skill errors, the cause of which students are wrong in doing the initial steps of work; 4) errors in writing the final answer, the reason is that students are not accustomed to writing conclusions. Keywords:  errors; newman; probability; story problems  DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.23960/mtk/v9i4.pp413-42

    Analysis of Heavy Metals Concentration in Textile Wastewater in Batik Industry Center

    The textile industry is the main source of environmental pollution in terms of quality and quantity. It consumes large amounts of water (200 m3/ tonne of products), and around 90% of the quantity is wastewater. Improper disposal of textile wastewater will cause serious environmental problems due to the presence of heavy metals in the waste which will adversely affect aquatic organisms. To analyze, the concentration of heavy metals in textile (batik) wastewater was collected from 15 small, medium, and large-scale textile industry waste disposal centers located at the Batik Industry Center of Kampoeng Batik Laweyan Surakarta, Indonesia August 2019. Standard methods of 22nd Edition 2012 APHA -AWWA-WEF with inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectroscopy (ICP-OES) was used to analyze the concentration of Iron (Fe), Copper (Cu), Chromium (Cr), Cadmium (Cd), Lead (Pb) and Nickel (Ni) in the sample. The results of the analysis showed that from 15 sample locations, several locations had levels of Cu, Pb, Ni, Cr, and Cd below the detection limit, i.e.  2 (<0.01 ppm), 13 (<0.02 ppm), 13 (<0.01 ppm), 15 (<0.01 ppm), and 15 (<0.02 ppm) locations for each metal respectively, while Fe levels were above the detection limit at all locations. The mean levels and number of locations for Fe, Cu, Pb, and Ni were 2.63 ± 5.01 (n = 15), 0.48 ± 0.99 (n = 13), 0.05 ± 0.03 (n = 2) and 0.02 ± 0.00 (n = 2) and the ranges of each metal level were 0.07-19.4 ppm, 0.01-3.73 ppm, 0.02-0.07 ppm, and 0.01-0.02 ppm respectively. Among these heavy metals, the highest concentration was Fe, and all samples had Cr and Pb levels below the detection limit. By comparing the results of this study with the safe limit for industrial wastewater according to Central Java Provincial Regulation No. 5 of 2012, only wastewater originating from two sampling locations can be used for irrigation and aquaculture, namely at locations B2 and B

    Abstrak: Salah satu kompetensi guru Muhammadiyah berkemajuan adalah kompetensi professional yakni menguasai teknologi dan meningkatkan kualitas daya saing pendidikan Muhammadiyah. Tujuan pengabdian ini adalah mewujudkan guru muhammadiyah melek digital melalui kegiatan workshop pembuatan game edukasi menggunakan wordwall, Quizizz, dan Kahoot!. Metode pengabdian meliputi 1) tahap persiapan yaitu untuk berkoordinasi dengan mitra dan merancang buku panduan; 2)tahap pelaksanaan meliputi kegiatan penyuluhan, workshop dan praktek membuat game edukasi dan kuis dengan Wordwall, Quizizz, dan Kahoot!; dan 3) tahap evaluasi yaitu untuk mengetahui peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan guru muhammadiyah dalam membuat game edukasi dalam pembelajaran. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengevaluasi adalah mlembar pengamatan aktivitas peserta PKM. Mitra pengabdian adalah guru SD Muhammadiyah di PCM Sukoharjo dengan jumlah 20 Peserta. Hasil pengabdian adalah 1) Buku panduan tutorial pembuatan Game Edukasi Menggunakan Wordwall, Quizizz, dan Kahoot!; 2) Peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan peserta pengabdian yang terlihat lembar aktivitas peserta Pengabdian terdapat 80% peserta mampu membuat game edukasi menggunakan Wordwall, Quizizz, dan Kahoot!.Abstract: One of the competences of Muhammadiyah teachers who are progressing is professional competence, namely mastering technology and improving the quality of the competitiveness of Muhammadiyah education. The purpose of this service is to make Muhammadiyah teachers digitally literate through workshops on making educational games using wordwalls, Quizizz, and Kahoot!. The dedication method includes 1) the preparatory stage, namely to coordinate with partners and design a guidebook; 2) the implementation phase includes counseling activities, workshops and practice on making educational games and quizzes with Wordwall, Quizizz, and Kahoot!; and 3) the evaluation stage is to find out the increase in the knowledge and skills of Muhammadiyah teachers in making educational games in learning. The instrument used to evaluate is an observation sheet of PKM participants' activities. The service partners are SD Muhammadiyah teachers at PCM Sukoharjo with a total of 20 participants. The results of the dedication are 1) A tutorial guidebook for making Educational Games Using Wordwall, Quizizz, and Kahoot!; 2) Increased knowledge and skills of service participants as seen in the activity sheet of service participants, 80% of participants are able to make educational games using Wordwall, Quizizz, and Kahoot!

C-X-C Motif Receptor-4 (CXCR4), Stromal Derived Factor-1 (SDF-1) and Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor (VEGF) play an important role in stimulating endogenous Bone Marrow Mesenchymal Stem Cells (BMMSCs) mobilization. The aim of this research to find out whether mangosteen (G. mangostana. L) peel extract can induce the expression of a CXCR4, SDF-1 and VEGF in BMMSCs culture. BMMSCs were taken and isolated from femur of male Wistar rats (Rattus novergicus). BMMSCs were cultured then added with mangosteen (Garcinia mangostana. L) peel extract. In this study, the culture of MSCs divided into 2 groups, group 1: added G. mangostana. L peel extract and group 2: without G. mangostana. L peel extract. The examination of SDF-1and CXCR4 expression by using enzyme linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA), meanwhile the VEGF expression by using Immunocytochemistry. Statistical analysis was test using Levene test for variance homogeneity and normality test with the Saphiro-Wilk test. If the data is normally distributed then a different test is performed using the t-test (p<0.05). There was a significant difference in the expression of SDF1-CXCR4, and VEGF (p<0.05) in BMMSCs cells culture between two groups (p<0.05). Conclusion: G. mangostana peel extract is able to induce the expression of a number of proteins, growth factors and chemokines, such as VEGF, CXCR4, and SDF-1
