    Information Services for the Use of Mind Maps in Teaching: the Experience of University Experimental Work

    The purpose of the article is to identify the information services for creating mind maps in the process of linguistic training of future philologists at the seminars. A comparative analysis of the most used software products for creating mind maps was carried out based on an expert survey. The results of this analysis made it possible to choose a software product using mind maps. The results of the pedagogical experiment confirmed the assumption that mind maps are an effective means of mastering the knowledge of future philologists at the seminars. The use of mind maps in the processes of understanding information in the classroom affects the activity of students' listening, makes it possible to systematize information through personal understanding and structuring, and promotes effective memorization. The next areas of scientific research on the presented problem are the analysis of the effectiveness of mind maps in the independent work of students

    I dagens samhälle förekommer en nedåtgående trend där intresset för och kunskapen om matematik sjunker. Matematikkunnande utvecklas bland annat genom en lust och nyfikenhet som gör att människan vill utforska ämnet vilket innebär att kunskap och intresse är tätt sammankopplat. En möjlig anledning till den sjunkande kunskapsnivån skulle därför kunna vara en allt mer negativ attityd gentemot matematikämnet. Detta är en studie, baserat på en enkätundersökning, som riktar in sig på just elevers attityder till matematik. Dess syfte är att undersöka hur elevers attityd till matematik, i årskurs 3 och 6, ser ut med avseende på intresse, motivation, tilltro till den egna förmågan och oro, fyra viktiga faktorer för inlärning. Studien behandlar huruvida det förekommer några uppenbara skillnader mellan dessa två elevgrupper. Resultatet visar att eleverna i årskurs 3 har en mer positiv attityd gentemot matematik än vad eleverna i årskurs 6 har, vilket stämmer överens med tidigare forskning. Den mest uppenbara skillnaden som studien visat är inom delområdena intresse och yttre motivation där en signifikant skillnad mellan årskurserna förekom. Studien har vidare visat att eleverna i båda årskurserna har en relativt hög tilltro till sin egen förmåga samt låg oro i samband med matematikämnet

    This report is the result of a master thesis work where the goal was to develop acontrol system for a type of ultrasonic motor. The ultrasonic motors use ultrasonicvibrations from a piezoelectric material to produce a rotating motion. They arepowered by two sinusoidal voltages and their control signals generally are thevoltages amplitude, frequency and the phase difference between the two voltages.In this work the focus is on control using only amplitude and frequency. A feedbacksignal was provided by an encoder, giving an angular position. The behavior of themotors were investigated for various sets of control signals. From collected data alinearized static model was derived for the motor speed. This derived model wasused to create a two part control system, with an inner control loop to managethe speed of the motors using a PI controller and an outer control loop to managethe position of the motors. A simple algorithm was used for the position controland the result was a control system able to position the motors with a 0.1 degreeaccuracy. The motors show potential for greater accuracy with a position feedback,but the result in this work is limited by the encoder used in the experiments

    El estudio tiene como objetivo analizar la conveniencia de utilizar las capacidades de LMS Moodle para la implementación del aprendizaje mixto en física en una universidad técnica en el estudio de la física cuántica. Se analizan las oportunidades que presenta el entorno online de Moodle. Está demostrado que el aprendizaje en línea combinado con el aprendizaje en persona mejora en gran medida los resultados del aprendizaje. Se describe un instrumento para el e-learning en física cuántica en el entorno Moodle y se determinan sus capacidades educativas. El artículo examina el método de creación de modelos informáticos con Easy Gif Animator. El modelado se examina como un medio para promover la formación de la actividad cognitiva de los estudiantes. El uso de modelos y experimentos mentales contribuye a mejorar la comprensión de los estudiantes de las teorías y los experimentos de la vida real en física. Los resultados del estudio apoyan la hipótesis de que la introducción de un componente de aprendizaje electrónico en la enseñanzade la física cuántica aumentará los niveles de actividad cognitiva de los estudiantes.The study aims to analyze the expediency of using the capabilities of LMS Moodle for the implementation of blended learning in physics at a technical university in the study of quantum physics. The opportunities presented by the Moodle online environment are analyzed. It is demonstrated that online learning combined with in-person learning greatly improves learning outcomes. An instrument for e-learning in quantum physics in the Moodle environment is described and its educational capabilities are determined. The article examines the method of creating computer models using Easy Gif Animator. Modeling is examined as a means of promoting the formation of students’ cognitive activity. The use of modeling and thought experiments contributes to enhancing students’ understanding of real-life experiments and theories in physics. The study results support the hypothesis that the introduction of an electronic learning component in teaching quantum physics will increase students’ cognitive activity levels.O estudo tem como objetivo analisar a oportunidade de utilizar as capacidades do LMS Moodle para a implementação de blended learning em física em uma universidade técnica no estudo da física quântica. São analisadas as oportunidades apresentadas pelo ambiente online Moodle. É demonstrado que o aprendizado online combinado com o aprendizado presencial melhora muito os resultados do aprendizado. Um instrumento para e-learning emfísica quântica no ambiente Moodle é descrito e suas capacidades educacionais são determinadas. O artigo examina o método de criação de modelos de computador usando o Easy Gif Animator. A modelagem é examinada como um meio de promover a formação daatividade cognitiva dos alunos. O uso de modelagem e experimentos mentais contribui para melhorar a compreensão dos alunos sobre experimentos da vida real e teorias da física. Os resultados do estudo suportam a hipótese de que a introdução de um componente de aprendizagem eletrônica no ensino de física quântica aumentará os níveis de atividade cognitiva dos alunos

Se realizó un análisis comparativo de los productos de software más utilizados para la creación de mapas mentales a partir de una encuesta a expertos. Los resultados de este análisis permitieron elegir un producto de software utilizando mapas mentales. Los resultados del experimento pedagógico confirmaron la suposición de que los mapas mentales son un medio eficaz para dominar el conocimiento de los futuros filólogos en los seminarios. El uso de mapas mentales en los procesos de comprensión de la información en el aula afecta la actividad de escucha de los estudiantes, permite sistematizar la información a través de la comprensión y estructuración personal y promueve la memorización efectiva. Las siguientes áreas de investigación científica sobre el problema presentado son el análisis de la efectividad de los mapas mentales en el trabajo independiente de los estudiantes
