The purpose of this study to improve the understanding of globalization
using cooperative learning model time token arends in Angkasa Elementary
School Colomadu fourth grade student, Karanganyar academic year 2012/2013.
This research shaped Classroom Action Research (CAR). The research
process was conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consists of four stages, namely:
(1) action planning, (2) implementation of the action, (3) observation, and (4)
reflection. The subjects used in this study is a Angkasa Elementary School
Colomadu fourth grade student, Karanganyar academic year 2012/2013. totaled
24 students consisting of 19 boys and 5 girls. Source of data used is the
information from sources that fourth grade teachers and students, observations and
process understanding of the globalization of learning data by applying a type of
cooperative model time token arends, and official documents. Data collection
techniques used were observation, interview, test, and document review. To test
the validity of the data, the researcher used triangulation of data sources and
triangulation methods. The data analysis technique used is interactive model
includes three components: data reduction, data presentation, and drawing
conclusions or verification.
Result of the research showed that through the application of cooperative
learning model time token arends can improve the understanding of globalization.
Increased understanding can looking from the average values obtained before
action (precycle) is 63.54 with 37% classical completeness. In the first cycle, the
average grade increased to 71.3 with 63% classical completeness. After the
second cycle of the action class average value increased to 78.8 with 85%
classical completeness.
Conclusion of this research is the application of cooperative
learning model time token arends type can improve understanding of globalization
on Angkasa Elementary School Colomadu fourth grade students, Karanganyar
academic year 2012/2013.

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk meningkatkan pemahaman tentang globalisasi
dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe time token arends pada
siswa kelas IV SD Angkasa Colomadu, Karanganyar tahun ajaran 2012/2013.
Penelitian ini berbentuk Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Proses
penelitian dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri dari empat tahap,
yaitu: (1) perencanaan tindakan, (2) pelaksanaan tindakan, (3) observasi, dan (4)
refleksi. Subjek yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV SD
Angkasa Colomadu, Karanganyar tahun ajaran 2012/2013. berjumlah 24 siswa
yang terdiri dari 19 siswa laki-laki dan 5 siswa perempuan. Sumber data yang
digunakan adalah informasi dari narasumber yaitu guru kelas IV dan siswa, hasil
pengamatan proses dan data pembelajaran pemahaman tentang globalisasi dengan
menerapkan model kooperatif tipe time token arends, dan dokumen resmi. Teknik
pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara, tes, dan kajian
dokumen. Untuk menguji validitas data, peneliti menggunakan triangulasi sumber
data dan triangulasi metode. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah model
analisis interaktif meliputi tiga buah komponen yaitu reduksi data, sajian data, dan
penarikan simpulan atau verifikasi.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa melalui penerapan model
pembelajaran kooperatif tipe time token arends dapat meningkatkan pemahaman
tentang globalisasi. Peningkatan pemahaman tersebut dapat dilihat dengan
diperoleh nilai rata-rata sebelum tindakan (prasiklus) yaitu 63.54 dengan
ketuntasan klasikal 37%. Pada siklus I nilai rata-rata kelas meningkat mencapai
71,3 dengan ketuntasan klasikal 63%. Setelah tindakan pada siklus II nilai rata-
rata kelas meningkat menjadi 78,8 dengan ketuntasan klasikal 85%.
Simpulan penelitian ini adalah penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif
tipe time token arends dapat meningkatkan pemahaman tentang globalisasi pada
siswa kelas IV SD Angkasa Colomadu, Karanganyar tahun ajaran 2012/2013.

Abstract: The Use of Cooperative Learning Models Type Time Token Arends and Environmental Learning Resources to Increase Poetry Writing Skills on The Fifth Grade Students of SD Negeri 4 Sukomulyo. The purpose of this research to improve the poetry writing skills of fifth grade student by the use of cooperative learning models type time token arends and environmental learning resources. This research was a collaborative Classroom Action Research (CAR) which implemented in three cycles, consist of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subject of this research are fifth grade student of SD Negeri 4 Sukomulyo amounts 16 students. The source of data on this research are students, peers, teachers, and documents. The data collecting tools are using test, observation, and interview. Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menulis puisi pada siswa kelas V melalui penggunaan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe time token arends dan sumber belajar lingkungan. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas kolaboratif yang dilakukan dalam tiga siklus, terdiri dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V SD Negeri 4 Sukomulyo sejumlah 16 siswa. Sumber data terdiri dari siswa, teman sejawat, guru, dan dokumen. Alat pengumpul data menggunakan tes, observasi, dan wawancara. Peningkatan Kemampuan Berbicara dengan Menerapkan Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif TIME Token Arends di Sekolah Dasar
This research aims to describe that improving the speaking skill using cooperative learning model Time Token Arends at V grade student\u27s in SDN 34 South Pontianak West Borneo province. The research methodology that used is a descriptive. The research design that used is a Classroom Action Research and also the character that used is collaborative. The research setting was in SDN 34 South Pontianak, the subject of this research was student at V grade and the total of the student in the class was 32 student\u27s and the Bahasa Indonesia teacher. The result of the data analysis in the baseline phase showed speaking skill of student\u27s in aspects of language reached 61,45% and the aspects of nonlanguage reached 47,39%, so that the action is given by implementing cooperative learning model Time Token Arends to improve their speaking skill
Interventions to facilitate return to work in adults with adjustment disorders
BACKGROUND: Adjustment disorders are a frequent cause of sick leave and various interventions have been developed to expedite the return to work (RTW) of individuals on sick leave due to adjustment disorders. OBJECTIVES: To assess the effects of interventions facilitating RTW for workers with acute or chronic adjustment disorders. SEARCH METHODS: We searched the Cochrane Depression, Anxiety and Neurosis Review Group's Specialised Register (CCDANCTR) to October 2011; the Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials (CENTRAL) to Issue 4, 2011; MEDLINE, EMBASE, PsycINFO and ISI Web of Science, all years to February 2011; the WHO trials portal (ICTRP) and ClinicalTrials.gov in March 2011. We also screened reference lists of included studies and relevant reviews. SELECTION CRITERIA: We selected randomised controlled trials (RCTs) evaluating the effectiveness of interventions to facilitate RTW of workers with adjustment disorders compared to no or other treatment. Eligible interventions were pharmacological interventions, psychological interventions (such as cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) and problem solving therapy), relaxation techniques, exercise programmes, employee assistance programmes or combinations of these interventions. The primary outcomes were time to partial and time to full RTW, and secondary outcomes were severity of symptoms of adjustment disorder, work functioning, generic functional status (i.e. the overall functional capabilities of an individual, such as physical functioning, social function, general mental health) and quality of life. DATA COLLECTION AND ANALYSIS: Two authors independently selected studies, assessed risk of bias and extracted data. We pooled studies that we deemed sufficiently clinically homogeneous in different comparison groups, and assessed the overall quality of the evidence using the GRADE approach. MAIN RESULTS: We included nine studies reporting on 10 psychological interventions and one combined intervention. The studies included 1546 participants. No RCTs were found of pharmacological interventions, exercise programmes or employee assistance programmes. We assessed seven studies as having low risk of bias and the studies that were pooled together were comparable. For those who received no treatment, compared with CBT, the assumed time to partial and full RTW was 88 and 252 days respectively. Based on two studies with a total of 159 participants, moderate-quality evidence showed that CBT had similar results for time (measured in days) until partial RTW compared to no treatment at one-year follow-up (mean difference (MD) -8.78, 95% confidence interval (CI) -23.26 to 5.71). We found low-quality evidence of similar results for CBT and no treatment on the reduction of days until full RTW at one-year follow-up (MD -35.73, 95% CI -113.15 to 41.69) (one study with 105 participants included in the analysis). Based on moderate-quality evidence, problem solving therapy (PST) significantly reduced time until partial RTW at one-year follow-up compared to non-guideline based care (MD -17.00, 95% CI -26.48 to -7.52) (one study with 192 participants clustered among 33 treatment providers included in the analysis), but we found moderate-quality evidence of no significant effect on reducing days until full RTW at one-year follow-up (MD -17.73, 95% CI -37.35 to 1.90) (two studies with 342 participants included in the analysis). AUTHORS' CONCLUSIONS: We found moderate-quality evidence that CBT did not significantly reduce time until partial RTW and low-quality evidence that it did not significantly reduce time to full RTW compared with no treatment. Moderate-quality evidence showed that PST significantly enhanced partial RTW at one-year follow-up compared to non-guideline based care but did not significantly enhance time to full RTW at one-year follow-up. An important limitation was the small number of studies included in the meta-analyses and the small number of participants, which lowered the power of the analyses
