    PolygonSouls : Un joc d'acció amb vista zenital i esperit souls-like

    Aquest projecte consisteix en la creació d'un joc 2D amb vista aéria mitjançant el motor gràfic Godot. Els nivells es generaran procedimentalment de manera aleatòria, així com el seu contingut. Hi haurà enemics de diferents nivells; els més alts tindran una intel·ligència artificial que els hi permetrà contrarestar els atacs del jugador seguint el sistema de combat basat en Pedra-Paper-Tisora. En aquest treball s'ha creat un joc capaç de generar procedimental un nivell així com s'han implementat diverses intel·ligències artificials amb scripting dinàmic capaces de contrarestar els atacs del jugador donant-li així un repte a superar.This project consist in the creation of a 2D game with aerial view using the Godot Engine. The levels will be procedural generated randomly, as well as their content. There will be enemies of diferent levels, the highest ones will have an artificial intelligence that will allow them to counter the player's attacks following the combat system based on Rock-Paper-Scissors. In this project, a game has been created capable of procedurally generating a level as well as artificial intelligence with dynamic scripting capable of countering the player's attacks has been integrated, thus giving the player a challenge to overcome.Este proyecto consiste en la creación de un juego 2D con vista aérea mediante el motor gráfico Godot. Los niveles se generarán procedimentalmente de manera aleatoria, así como su contenido. Habrá enemigos de diferentes niveles; los más altos tendrán una inteligencia artificial que les permitirá contrarrestar los ataques del jugador siguiendo el sistema de combate basado en Piedra-Papel-Tijera.     Accuracy of colon capsule endoscopy in detecting colorectal polyps in individuals with familial colorectal cancer: could we avoid colonoscopies?

    Background. Individuals with a family history of colorectal cancer (CRC) have an increased risk of CRC. We evaluated the diagnostic yield of CCE in the detection of lesions and also two different colon preparations. Methods. A prospective multicenter study was designed to assess CCE diagnostic yield in a cohort of asymptomatic individuals with a family history of CRC. CCE and colonoscopy were performed on the same day by 2 endoscopists who were blinded to the results of the other procedure. Results. Fifty-three participants were enrolled. The sensitivity, specificity, PPV, and NPV of CCE for detecting advanced adenomas were 100%, 98%, 67%, and 100%. Sensitivity, specificity, PPV, and NPV of CCE for the diagnosis of individuals with polyps were 87%, 97%, 93%, and 88%, respectively. CCE identify 100% of individuals with significant or advanced lesions. Overall cleanliness was adequate by 60.7% of them. The PEG-ascorbic boost seems to improve colon cleanliness, with similar colonic transit time. Conclusion. CCE is a promising tool, but it has to be considered as an alternative technique in this population in order to reduce the number of colonoscopies performed. More studies are needed to understand appropriate screening follow-up intervals and optimize the bowel preparation regimen

    The reference site collaborative network of the european innovation partnership on active and healthy ageing

    Seventy four Reference Sites of the European Innovation Partnership on Active and Healthy Ageing (EIP on AHA) have been recognised by the European Commission in 2016 for their commitment to excellence in investing and scaling up innovative solutions for active and healthy ageing. The Reference Site Collaborative Network (RSCN) brings together the EIP on AHA Reference Sites awarded by the European Commission, and Candidate Reference Sites into a single forum. The overarching goals are to promote cooperation, share and transfer good practice and solutions in the development and scaling up of health and care strategies, policies and service delivery models, while at the same time supporting the action groups in their work. The RSCN aspires to be recognized by the EU Commission as the principal forum and authority representing all EIP on AHA Reference Sites. The RSCN will contribute to achieve the goals of the EIP on AHA by improving health and care outcomes for citizens across Europe, and the development of sustainable economic growth and the creation of jobs

    First Assessment of the Impacts of the COVID-19 Pandemic on Global Marine Recreational Fisheries

    This work is the result of an international research effort to determine the main impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic on marine recreational fishing. Changes were assessed on (1) access to fishing, derived from lockdowns and other mobility restrictions; (2) ecosystems, because of alterations in fishing intensity and human presence; (3) the blue economy, derived from alterations in the investments and expenses of the fishers; and (4) society, in relation to variations in fishers’ health and well-being. For this, a consultation with experts from 16 countries was carried out, as well as an international online survey aimed at recreational fishers, that included specific questions designed to capture fishers’ heterogeneity in relation to behavior, skills and know-how, and vital involvement. Fishers’ participation in the online survey (5,998 recreational fishers in 15 countries) was promoted through a marketing campaign. The sensitivity of the fishers’ clustering procedure, based on the captured heterogeneity, was evaluated by SIMPER analysis and by generalized linear models. Results from the expert consultation highlighted a worldwide reduction in marine recreational fishing activity. Lower human-driven pressures are expected to generate some benefits for marine ecosystems. However, experts also identified high negative impacts on the blue economy, as well as on fisher health and well-being because of the loss of recreational fishing opportunities. Most (98%) of the fishers who participated in the online survey were identified as advanced, showing a much higher degree of commitment to recreational fishing than basic fishers (2%). Advanced fishers were, in general, more pessimistic about the impacts of COVID-19, reporting higher reductions in physical activity and fish consumption, as well as poorer quality of night rest, foul mood, and raised more concerns about their health status. Controlled and safe access to marine recreational fisheries during pandemics would provide benefits to the health and well-being of people and reduce negative socioeconomic impacts, especially for vulnerable social groups
