    A framework for sustainable construction in railway infrastructure projects / Assa Amiril

    The delivery process of railway project development is not an easy task as it involves many parties and issues such as huge land use, resources, extensive investment, and long construction time which give great impacts on the environment, economic and social disruption. The concept of sustainable construction in infrastructure projects emerges as a vital approach among the project stakeholders to achieve a balance between environmental, economic and social in infrastructure projects. This is in line with the Malaysia growing need for sustainable construction practices in built infrastructure. Nevertheless, implementation of sustainable construction concept in Malaysian railway projects is still low where ‘status quo‘ of project delivery is ineffective in holistically addressing environmental, social and economic dimensions. One of the reasons is lack of driving factors that enforce construction practitioners to implement sustainable construction. Albeit sustainability indicators, checklists or assessments have been previously identified and prepared, there is still lack of sustainability factors for sustainable construction in railway projects that can guide the construction practitioners to achieve sustainability goals. Consequently, construction practitioners are still facing difficulty of understanding and translating the idea of sustainability approach into projectlevel. Therefore, the aim of this study is to develop a framework for sustainable construction in railway infrastructure projects. Mixed methods of quantitative and qualitative research of data collection were adopted. Empirical data for quantitative research was gathered via questionnaire survey and qualitative data was collected via semi-structured interviews with respondents from client, consultants and contractors involved in railway projects. The data analysis is carried out qualitatively (thematic content analysis utilising ATLAS.ti software) and quantitatively (descriptive and inferential statistical analysis utilising Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS), Microsoft Excel and Partial-Least Square of Structural Equation Modelling (SEMPLS)). The findings from the research were used to develop a framework for sustainable construction in railway infrastructure projects which was validated to confirm its external validity. The results reveal that stronger government strategy and organizational attentiveness leads to increased sustainable construction practices. Apart from that, integration of 22 sustainability factors in railway project life cycle phase is critically important to achieve sustainable construction in railway project. The findings also signify ten project effectiveness and efficiency indicators that are important to evaluate sustainability of railway infrastructure project performance. Furthermore, the validation feedback showed that the respondents agreed with the proposed framework and it is appropriate for the context of this research and construction industry

    Salah satu peran laboratorium mikrobiologi klinik adalah sebagai penyedia data pemeriksaan penunjang mengenai bakteri patogen penyebab penyakit infeksi pada pasien. Oleh karena itu, keakuratan hasil identifikasi dinilai perlu. Bakteri yang hidup di lingkungan laboratorium mikrobiologi klinik adalah salah satu sumber kontaminan terhadap sampel klinik, sehingga dapat terjadi hasil yang salah pada identifikasi bakteri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan isolasi dan identifikasi bakteri di lingkungan Laboratorium Mikrobiologi Klinik RSUDZA Banda Aceh dan menentukan sumber bakteri tersebut. Jenis penelitian ini adalah observasional laboratorium. Sampel penelitian ini adalah permukaan benda yang ada di laboratorium seperti permukaaan meja, dinding, lantai, Biosafety Cabinet (BSC), inkubator, gagang pintu masuk dan pintu kulkas, keyboard komputer, mukosa hidung dan telapak tangan petugas laboratorium yang belum dicuci. Hasil isolasi bakteri dari 25 sampel diperoleh 34 isolat bakteri. Hasil identifikasi bakteri bakteri diperoleh bakteri GPB, Pantoea spp, Acinetobacter baumannii, Staphylococcus warneri, Staphylococcus haemolyticus, Staph. hominis spp hominis, Staphylococcus aureus, Staphylococcus epidermidis, Leuconostoc pseudomesenteroides, Citrobacter koseri, Burkholderia cepacia, Sphingomonas paucimobilis, Lactococcus garvieae, dan Staphylococcus gallinarum.     Abstrak Kebugaran kardiovaskular merupakan kemampuan dari jantung, paru-paru, dan peredaran darah di dalam tubuh dalam menyuplai oksigen keseluruh tubuh dengan baik dan maksimal, yang dapat mempengaruhi kebugaran jasmani dalam kehidupan seseorang. Kebugaran kardiovaskular merupakan faktor utama yang penting dalam kehidupan manusia untuk menjalankan aktivitas sehari-hari. Siswa harus mempunyai kebugaran kardiovaskular yang baik, sehingga dapat melaksanakan proses belajar dengan optimal. Salah satu kegiatan yang berperan dalam membentuk kebugaran kardiovaskular siswa adalah aktivitas siswa saat berangkat dan pulang sekolah. Di SMP Negeri 2 Krejengan terdapat perbedaan aktivitas siswa ketika berangkat dan pulang sekolah yakni jalan kaki dan naik sepeda. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah : 1) Untuk mengetahui perbandingan tingkat kebugaran kardiovaskular antara siswa jalan kaki dengan siswa yang naik sepeda. 2) Untuk mengetahui kebugaran kardiovaskular yang lebih baik antara siswa jalan kaki dengan siswa yang naik sepeda. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian perbandingan dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dan merupakan jenis penelitian non-eksperimen. Pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini yaitu menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Pengujian hipotesis dianalisis secara statistik untuk menguji hipotesis menggunakan uji-t (beda antar kelompok). Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 2 Krejengan, Kecamatan Krejengan, Kabupaten Probolinggo. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini menggunakan tes MFT (Multistage Fitness Test). Berdasarkkan hasil tes MFT (Multistage Fitness Test) menunjukkan bahwa nilai signifikan (0,04) lebih kecil dari alpha (5%) atau 0,05. Selain itu hasil tes MFT siswa jalan kaki didapatkan nilai rata-rata kebugaran kardiovaskular sebesar (27,20) dan standart deviasi (4,19), sedangkan siswa naik sepeda didapatkan nilai rata-rata kebugaran kardiovaskular sebesar (24,34) dan standart deviasi (2,32). Sehingga dengan demikian dapat dikatakan Ha diterima dan Ho ditolak, yang berarti ada perbandingan yang signifikan antara tingkat kebugaran kardiovaskular antara siswa jalan kaki dengan siswa yang naik sepeda saat ke sekolah. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah adanya perbandingan yang signifikan tingkat kebugaran kardiovaskular antara siswa jalan kaki dengan siswa yang naik sepeda saat kesekola pada siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 2 Krejengan, Kecamatan Krejengan, Kabupaten Probolinggo. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa siswa jalan kaki memiliki tingkat kebugaran kardiovaskular yang lebih baik dari pada siswa naik sepeda pada siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 2 Krejengan, Kecamatan Krejengan, Kabupaten Probolinggo. Kata kunci: Kebugaran Kardiovaskular, Jalan Kaki, Naik Sepeda   Abstract Cardiovascular fitness is the ability of the heart, lungs, and blood circulation inside the body to supply oxygen into the whole body in good and maximum condition, which affects somebody’s physical fitness. Cardiovascular fitness is the main factor for human to do daily activities. Students must have a good cardiovascular fitness, so they can do the learning process optimally. One of the activities that influences the development of student’s cardiovascular fitness is their daily routine when they go to school and go back home. In Krejengan 2 Junior High School, there are differences in students daily routine when they go to school and go back home, that is by walking and by riding bicycle.  The purposes of this research are: 1) To investigate the comparison of cardiovascular fitness level between students who go to school by walking and by riding bicycle. 2) The examine which exhibits better, cardiovascular fitness. This research is a non-exsperimental comparison research with quantitative approach. The sampling technique in this research is purposive sampling technique.  Hypothesis is analyzed statistically to using T-test (difference between groups). The subjects of this research are 7th grade students of Krejengan 2 Junior High School, Krejengan, Probolinggo. The instrument used in this research is MFT (Multistage Fitness Test). The result of MFT, the shows that significant value (0,04) is smaller than alpha (5%) or 0,05. Furthermore, the MFT result of students who go to school by walking shows the average value of cardiovascular fitness of (27,20) and deviation standard of (4,19). While for the students who go to school by riding bicycle, the cardiovascular fitness level is (24,34) and the standard deviation is (2,32). Therefore it can be concluded that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected, which indicates a significant difference in the cardiovascular fitness level between students who go to school by walking and by riding bicycle. In clonclusion, the resarech reveals that there is a significant difference in cardiovascular fitness between students who go to school by walking and by riding bicycle  on 7th grade students of Krejengan 2 Junior High School, Krejengan, Probolinggo. This result signifies that students who go to school by walking have better cardiovascular fitness level than students who go to school by riding bicycle in 7th grade students of Krejengan 2 Junior High School, Krejengan, Probolinggo.     Machining performance of vegetable oil with phosphonium- and ammonium-based ionic liquids via MQL technique

    Thermo-mechanical loads are the main factor that influences the tool wear and product surfaces during machining processes. Lubrication in metal cutting is an effective medium to reduce frictional forces and wear on the tool-workpiece interfaces. On this regards, the advantages of using refined bio-based metalworking fluids (MWFs) with the presence of low toxic, biocompatible and oil-miscible ionic liquids (ILs) additives ([N1,8,8,8][NTf2] (AIL) & [P6,6,6,14][(iC8)2PO2] (PIL)) at nominal weight concentrations of 1, 5 and 10% are explored during orthogonal cutting of AISI 1045 steel. Accordingly, the lubricants are supplied via minimum quantity lubrication (MQL) technique and comparative studies are conducted against the performance of the neat modified Jatropha-based lubricant (MJO) and commercially available synthetic ester-based MQL cutting fluid (SE). The combination of mist supply of the MJOs during machining have a great impact on cleaner production that eliminates the excessive usage of fluids and supports the utilization of environmentally friendly chemicals. This work extends the application of a minute quantity of fully miscible ILs in polar vegetable-based MWF which proven to provide a significant improvement on the lubrication effect of the MJO. MJOþAIL10% and MJOþPIL1% showed the best cutting performance amongst all lubricant mixtures with reduction of cutting forces and specific cutting energy by 4 to 5%, cutting temperatures by 7 to 10%, friction coefficient by 2 to 3%, tool-chip contact length by 8 to 11%, chip thickness by 22 to 25%, friction angle by 1 to 2% and increased shear angle by 25 to 29% compared to the SE. Besides, the effect of low friction and reduced cutting forces produced lower specific cutting energy that promotes “greener” and more sustainable working environment

    The integration of science and the Qur’an, known as scientific exegesis (tafsīr ‘ilmī), has emerged as a crucial interpretative model in response to the division between secular and religious knowledge. This study delves into Qur’anic verses related to oceanography, exploring their theological significance and uncovering numerous benefits of the oceans, including their roles as sources of life, climate regulators, livelihood providers, and transportation channels. Additionally, it identifies a remarkable 38 verses discussing oceanography, with 18 of them emphasizing key theological messages such as the exclusive divinity of God, His role as the Creator and Controller of all, the submission of nature to Him, the vastness of His knowledge, and His undeniable greatness. Ultimately, the Qur’anic concept of oceanography reaffirms the existence of God as the Creator and emphasizes humanity’s responsibility as His creatures and servants, tasked with worshiping and glorifying Him. This fusion of science and the Qur’an offers valuable alternative interpretations that can enhance human understanding

    The purpose of this study was to determine teacher strategies in improving the quality of teaching during the COVID-19 Pandemic. The research was conducted with a descriptive qualitative method using a naturalistic qualitative approach, data were collected through observation and interviews. The subjects are the principal and teacher. The results showed that online learning made it easier for teachers to transfer information in various situations and conditions because online learning was supported by various platforms ranging from discussions to face-to-face virtually. However, this needs to be evaluated and adjusted to local conditions, given the ability of parents to provide different online learning facilities. The key is to maximize the ability of students to learn in a pandemic like this.Tujuan penelitian ini sebenarnya untuk mengetahui “Strategi Guru Dalam Meningkatkan Kualitas Mengajar Selama Masa Pandemi Covid-19 Di SMP IT Al-Hijrah Deli Serdang.” Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif yang bersifat deskriptif dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif naturalistik, yaitu pendekatan yang dilakukan secara alamiah untuk mencari, menganalisis dan menginterpretasi data yang ditemukan melalui observasi dan wawancara. Pada penelitian ini subjeknya adalah kepala sekolah dan guru. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan : 1) Strategi kepala sekolah dalam memotivasi guru agar tetap meningkatkan kualitas guru dalam mengajar secara daring walau dalam masa pandemi covid-19, 2) Strategi guru dalam mengatasi hambatan pada metode pembelajaran selama kondisi pandemi covid-19,  3) Strategi guru dalam meningkatkan kualitas mengajar selama masa pandemi covid-19

    Tulisan ini akan menjelaskan metode pengkajian Al-Qur’an dengan menggunakan metode hermeneutik. Dalam konteks masyarakat kekinian, banyak para pemikir muslim modern yangberpendapat bahwa hermeneutika merupakan keniscayaan. Dengan hermeneutika pendekatan, pemikiran, pemaknaan maupun interpretasi terhadap teks-teks keagamaan bisa lebih dinamis,kontekstual, inklusif, dan relevan dengan masyarakat kekinian. Hermeneutika sebagai suatu bentuk interpretasi telah membawa cara baru untuk memahami ilmu pengetahuan Islam, seperti Tafsir Al-Qur’an. Ada kontroversi dalam penggunaan pendekatan hermeneutis untuk memahami Al-Qur’an. Satu kelompok menolaknya, sementara yang lain menerima kehadiran hermeneutika sebagai salah satu metode yang relevan untuk memahami tafsir al-Quran, meskipun metode ini berasal dari luar khazanah dunia Islam, Hermeneutika diperlukan untuk memahami al-Quran, terutama untuk menyikapi Isu-isu kontemporer yang sebagian besar tidak diselesaikan dalam interpretasi klasik. Para intelektual muslim kontemporer seperti Nashr Hamid Abu Zayd, Fazlur Rahman, Hasan Hanafi dan yang lain membuka kemungkinan untuk menerapkan hermenutika di dalam menafsirkan Al-Qur’an. Pada akhirnya penulis melihat bahwa penggunaan hermeneutika dalam menafsirkan Al-Qur’an mampu menambah dan memperkaya metodologi tafsir, namun penulis juga sepakat bahwa konsep hermeneutika secara utuh tidak bisa diterapkan dalam menafsirkan Al-Qur’an

    Pemerintah Kabupaten Kediri terus berupaya dalam peningkatan kemampuan, ketrampilan dan pendapatan masyarakat. Upaya tersebut salah satunya yaitu mengadakan pelatihan yang diberikan oleh Dinas Ketahanan Pangan dan Peternakan Kabupaten Kediri. Pelatihan tersebut memiliki tema Peningkatan Produksi Peternakan Ruminansia oleh Dinas Ketahanan Pangan dan Peternakan Kabupaten Kediri. Kegiatan ini bekerjasama dengan Universitas Islam Kadiri dalam bentuk Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat. Bentuk pengabdian yaitu sebagai pemateri dalam kegiatan pelatihan ini. Materi yang disampaikan berupa pelatihan penanganan sederhana dari gangguan reproduksi dan kesehatan ternak serta pembuatan pakan sapi potong. Pelatihan berlangsung selama dua hari dengan sesi pemberian materi, tanya jawab dan praktek. Kegiatan pelatihan berjalan dengan baik dan lancar serta kondusif. Kegiatan ini dapat menambah wawasan para peternak dalam usaha peningkatan hasil produksinya. Hasil dari proses pelatihan ini, para peternak dapat mencegah terjadinya kasus penyakit pada ternaknya dan dapat membuat pakan ternak ruminansia yang nutrisinya sesuai dan sederhana
