    Equivalence and Difference of Semantic Relations in Black Panther Movie Script

    This study used the Black Panther movie script by Ryan Coogler and Joe Robert Cole as the object of the study. The aim of this study is to find out the equivalences and differences of semantic relations used in the Black Panther movie script. This study used Norman Fairclough’s theory that was equivalence and difference of semantic relations. The method used in this study was descriptive qualitative study methods. The primary data was taken from the Black Panther movie script, and secondary data was taken from the audiovisual movie related to the material objects. Techniques of the data collection were downloading Black Panther movie scripts on the internet, reading all the movie scripts repeatedly and comprehensively, checking the words or utterances spoken in the movie script, identifying the semantic relations between clauses and sentences in the form of addition, elaborating, and contrasting in the movie scripts, and then coding the data.  The result of the study showed that there were 55 data found, they were Elaboration consists of 14 data, Addition consists of 9 data, and Contrast consists of 32 data. Equivalences of semantic relations were used with the repetition in the form of words, phrases, clauses, and sentences where the purpose has the same perspective or vision. While differences of semantic relations were used by writing a different meaning from the previous clause or sentence

    Black English is a variety of English spoken by many African Americans. Most people consider that Black English as a badly spoken version of Standard English. Therefore, this is the reason why the syntactic feature of Black English important to analyze. The knowledge about the syntactic feature of Black English may results that people will understand and recognize Black English. This research is aimed at describing the syntactic feature of Black English that Alice Walker used in her novel and to find the most dominant feature which occurs in the novel. This research used the syntactic analysis based on Lisa J. Green’s perspective. Then, the data were analyzed using the descriptive qualitative method. The data were collected by downloading, reading, classifying, and coding the data then analyzed by presenting the collected data, describing the use of the syntactic feature, and making a conclusion.     ANALISIS FAKTOR-FAKTOR YANG MEMENGARUHI STRUKTUR MODAL PERUSAHAAN LQ 45 YANG TERDAFTAR DI BURSA EFEK INDONESIA

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh profitabilitas, ukuran perusahaan, pertumbuhan perusahaan, likuiditas, dan risiko bisnis terhadap struktur modal pada perusahaan LQ 45 yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia. Periode penelitian ini adalah tahun 2012-2014. Desain penelitian ini adalah studi kausalitas. Populasi penelitian meliputi semua perusahaan yang tercatat dalam perhitungan indeks LQ 45 selama periode pengamatan yaitu 2012-2014. Teknik pemilihan sampel digunakan purposive sampling dan data penelitian diperoleh 17 perusahaan. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan: Profitabilitas dan Likuiditas berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap Struktur Modal, dibuktikan dengan hasil uji nilai t hitung sebesar -2,664 dan -2,122 dengan tingkat signifikansi sebesar 0,011 dan 0,039 sehingga Ha1 dan Ha4 diterima. Ukuran Perusahaan dan Pertumbuhan Perusahaan memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Struktur Modal, dibuktikan dengan hasil uji nilai t hitung sebesar 5,671 dan 3,003 dengan tingkat signifikansi 0,000 dan 0,004, sehingga Ha2 dan Ha3 diterima. Risiko Bisnis tidak memiliki pengaruh terhadap Struktur Modal, dibuktikan dengan nilai t hitung sebesar -1,141 dengan signifikansi sebesar 0,260 sehingga Ha5 ditolak. Nilai Adjusted R Square sebesar 0,673. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa struktur modal (DER) dipengaruhi oleh profitabilitas, ukuran perusahaan, pertumbuhan perusahaan, likuiditas, dan risiko bisnis sebesar 67,3%, sedangkan sisanya sebesar 32,7% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain yang tidak diteliti dalam penelitian ini.     This study focuses on the analysis of The Representation of African Cultural Identity in Black Panther.  This study aims to reveal the portrayal of African cultural identity in real life. In analyzing the data the writer used both library and media research related to this study, the writer applied a qualitative descriptive study as the method of this study. The source of data in this study Black Panther movie which is directed by Ryan Coogler and it was released in 2018. The data were collected through process of watching, pausing and interpreting then the writer analyses those data by using theory of Representation by Stuart Hall through constructionist approach. Black Panther movie became a medium to change the audience perspective about Africa. This movie shows the depiction of various kinds of cultural identity in Africa that can open the audience's thoughts about Africa. The results of this study indicate that the Black Panther movie has become a medium to provide a better perspective through the description of several elements related to African identity:Representation of African civilization through a symbol of vibranium, cultural ritual, traditional costume, African images through the character those elements are used by Ryan Coogler as director to develop a different perspective of Africa. &nbsp

    Pengaruh Media Pembelajaran Berbasis Youtube terhadap Hasil Belajar IPA Siswa di Sekolah Dasar

    Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi karena menurunnya hasil belajar siswa saat proses pembelajaran daring selama masa pandemi. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui ada atau tidaknya pengaruh media pembelajaran berbasis youtube terhadap hasil belajar ipa siswa sekolahdasar. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode Quasi Eksperimental Design dengan desain penelitian The Nonequivalent pretest-posttest control-group. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan instrument tes, dengan populasi berjumlah 26 siswa. Analisis data menggunakan uji-t dua sampel independent pada taraf signifikansi 5%. Penggunaan media pembelajaran berbasis youtube dapat memberikan pengaruh baik terhadap hasil belajar siswa, sebagaimana hasil penelitian didapatkan hasil, belajar IPA kelas eksperimen sebesar 84,23 dan nilai rata-rata post-test kelas kontrol sebesar 79,92. Maka berdasarkan data tersebut kelas eksperimen memiliki rata-rata hasil belajar IPA lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelas kontrol. Analisis data hasil belajar menunjukkan bahwa nilai sig. (2-tailed) 0,001 < 0,05. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima yang artinya terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara hasil belajar IPA kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh media pembelajaran berbasis youtube terhadap hasil belajar ipa siswa kelas v sekolah dasar tema 7 materi kalo

    LEARNING OBSTACLE PADA PEMECAHAN MASALAH MATEMATIS DALAM MATERI PERBANDINGAN SENILAI DAN BERBALIK NILAI

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan learning obstacles yang teridentifikasi terkait kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa dalam materi perbandingan senilai dan berbalik nilai. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi. Pengumpulan data dilakukan secara triangulasi dengan menggunakan observasi dan instrumen yaitu tes tertulis kepada siswa dan wawancara kepada setiap partisipan. Penelitian ini berlangsung di salah satu SMP Negeri di Kabupaten Bandung Barat dengan mengambil subjek penelitian sebanyak 34 siswa. Berdasarkan hasil tes tertulis dari 34 siswa tersebut, terpilih tujuh responden untuk dilakukan wawancara pendalaman. Analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif. Berdasarkan temuan dan pembahasan dalam penelitian ini, peneliti menemukan tiga jenis learning obstacles, yang diantaranya : (1) Ontogenic Obstacles yang terdiri dari 3 jenis, yaitu : ontogenic obstacles psikologis terlihat dari rendahnya motivasi dan ketertarikan siswa dalam belajar. Ontogenic obstacles instrumental terlihat dari hambatan yang bersifat teknis saat pembelajaran berlangsung. Ontogenic obstacles konseptual terlihat dari ketidaksesuaian antara pembelajaran yang diberikan dengan tingkat berpikir siswa; (2) Didactical Obstacles teridentifikasi melalui pemilihan strategi belajar dan pembentukan kelompok diskusi; (3) Epistemological Obstacles terlihat dari adanya keterbatasan konteks siswa dalam proses penyelesaian masalah. Hasil penelitian ini dapat menjadi pertimbangan berharga untuk kemudian dapat mengembangkan sebuah desain pembelajaran yang tepat. This study aims to describe the identified learning obstacles related to students' mathematical problem-solving abilities in direct and indirect proportion. This research uses a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach. Data collection was carried out by triangulation using observations and instruments namely written tests to students and interviews with each participant. This research took place in one of the State Junior High Schools in West Bandung Regency by taking research subjects as many as 34 students. Based on the written test results from 34 students, seven respondents were selected to conduct in-depth interviews. Data analysis was performed descriptively. Based on the findings and discussion in this research, researchers found three types of learning obstacles, which include: (1) Ontogenic Obstacles consisting of 3 types, namely: psychological ontogenic obstacles seen from the low motivation and student interest in learning. Instrumental Ontogenic obstacles are seen from technical obstacles when learning takes place. Ontogenic conceptual obstacles can be seen from the discrepancy between the learning given and the level of student thinking; (2) Didactical Obstacles are identified through the selection of learning strategies and the formation of discussion groups; (3) Epistemological Obstacles can be seen from the limitations of the students' context in the problem-solving process. The result of this research can be a valueable consideration to develop an appropriate didacctical design

Data was collected through searching, downloading, reading, watching,and coding and the data collected was analyzed through several steps; presenting,describing, interpreting, classifying and concluding the results of this research.The results showed that the account really exists and is applied by the character.The researcher finds several types of accounts, namely justification 5,defeasibility 3, scapegoating 3, and biological 2. One type of account was notfound, namely an accident. In the finding, the researcher finds that every excusecontains justification but every justification does not contain an excuse.Moreover, the justification aspect is more dominantly used because the characteralways justifies bad behavior of others or themselves. In excuses, thedefeasibility aspect is used because many murders are committed on the basis ofvictims who deserve to be killed.     This research aimed to describe The Rejection of Technoculture in the Alita: Battle Angel Movie by using Jean Francois Lyotard Theory. This research used the Descriptive Qualitative Method. The source of the data in this research is Alita: Battle Angel Movie directed by Robert Rodriguez that is published in 2019. The data was collected through watching the movie carefully several times, pausing every scene to read the conversation text, screen shooting the image that related, and taking a note about the data. This research is analyzed by identifying characters that represented the Technoculture, Displaying and interpreting the data about Technoculture by using Postmodernism theory by Jean Francois Lyotard Theory and Drawing the conclusion. The result of this research found that Alita, Zapan, Grewishka are characters that represented the Technoculture (Cyborg and Human Relationship and Hedonism) represented in the Alita: Battle Angel Movie through the power of science and technology, individualism, and rationality. The Rejection of Technoculture depicted through the character of Alita that her power is not evolved from technology but originating from the legendary martial art called Punzer Kuntz before her body is combined with Ido's technological tools. Technology is not necessarily having an important role in the human body as described by the heroine character, Alita herself, whose overall strength did not come from technology. Alita in this movie is a parody because she is a robot that humanized herself.&nbsp; In fact, she shows many aspects of his humanity that humans are busy degrading themselves
