The convergence of the Spanish Universities to a Space Common European supposes methodological changes and for it is necessary to carry out analysis of the competitions that the students acquire in our universities.
Adapting to the European Higher Education Area has meant a significant shift in the role of university lecturers. This study considers the personal, professional and methodological attributes considered most important for a university lecturer by students in the third year of degrees in Primary Education, Social Education, Psychology and Educational Psychology. The data was gathered via a questionnaire completed by 269 students distributed across the four courses offered by the Education Faculty. The results show that the attributes rated highest were those of a respectful attitude towards students, the ability to give clear explanations, a good command of the subject, good communication skills, the use of practical and authentic examples, good preparation, being a good listener and empathy with the students. Significant statistical differences were found in the appraisals in terms of gender and degree subject. The study supports that view that university lecturers require specialist training in order to develop critical attributes, especially in the case of faculties responsible for training future primary teachers and other related professions
Family and teachers usually understand the value of the prevention, but only when
the child’s symptoms of the conflict emerge, they begin to be concerned on the emotional
problems. Because it is very important a good early diagnosis of the emotional dysfunctions,
this work aims to determine if the Bender Test could be used as discriminator of
children’s anxiety. The Bender Test and STAIC were applied to 722 subjects from 9 to
11 years. By Pearson correlation coefficient we obtain that neither Bender Test, neither
emotional indicators proposed by Koppitz (1981), are valid predictors of anxiety. Only
between confused order indicator, and the Scale of Anxiety-State was found a significant
correlation
ABSTRACTA study was carried out with students of 1st year of Psichopedagogy of the University of Huelva, to analyze their perception of the social climate of the classroom as a consequence of an educational innovation affecting the methodology and evaluation process. The Scale of School Climate of Moos and Ticket (1995) has been used. This article provides descriptive data on the results, which reflect that the students value in a positive way the clarity of the norms, the affiliation, the implication in their own learning process and having a clear idea of the organization and planning of the different subjects.RESUMENSe realizó un estudio con los alumnos de 1º de psicopedagogía de la Universidad de Huelva, para analizar su percepción sobre el clima social del aula como consecuencia de una innovación docente en la metodología docente y forma de evaluación.
The main aim is to study the relationship between emocional indicators of Bender Test and different socio-demography, maturity, perceptive and personality variables.
The sample is formed by 722 pupils in the 4th and 5th levels of Primary Education. The instruments used have been, “G” Test, EPQ-J Test, Staic Test, Bender Test and a questionnaire for the form-teacher.
The results show a low relationship between perceptive immaturity and emotional unstable; it is ruled out correlations among emotional indicators and personality and anxiety variables. It is noticed correlations among disruptive and antisocial behaviours and different Bender Test indicators. They don’t show differences in the different emotional indicators because of gender or social and economical levels but we can notice the differences because of types of schools (public/private) and their situation (town/outskirts).
As a conclusion, we can use to Bender Test as a screening to detect maturity disadjustments and their consequences in emotional problems and antisocial behaviours
Energetic metabolism in fasting sheep: regularization of metabolic profile by treatment with oral glucose, with prior handling of gastric groove
The objective of this research was to evaluate a possible corrective measure against negative metabolic states, as occurs in the advanced stage of gestation in ewes, and that sometimes produces a disease called pregnancy toxaemia. In the present research, we found that the joint administration of i.v. lysine-vasopressin (0.08 IU/kg body weight, BW) and an oral glucose solution (50 g) produces an increase in blood glucose, which persists for some time (up to 6 h); therefore, it could be used in the treatment of pregnancy toxaemia. This therapy is based on the fact that lysine-vasopressin induces gastric groove closure in adult ruminants, enabling orally administered glucose to reach the abomasum directly, from where it rapidly passes into the intestine and is immediately absorbed. We can say that the tested treatment causes a significant increase in blood glucose in ewes affected by toxaemia caused by fasting, which, although less marked than conventional therapy with intravenous drip glucose, remains longer, regularizing other parameters indicative of energy metabolism in fasting ewes
The present paper exposes the results of a study, whose aim is to describe what knowledge is owned by graduates on Physical Activity and Sports, who are conducting PAC (CAP in Spanish), about the phenomenon named Bullying, and specifically on the aggressor, the victim, and the context in which the threats are made. Among the main findings, it is highlight that who they perceive as the aggressor is a student from a dysfunctional family background, with low grades, and who behaves in groups, with male members mainly. The profile of the victim is a student who doesn’t have to be from a conflictive family, neither from a low socioeconomic level, nor bad at studying; but they do believe that they are solitary kids, and with socialization issues. Regarding the place, apprentice teachers believe that the playground is the area where all the attacks are produced, and that these attacks have increased in the last few years. According to them, the victims do not always ask for help, while not all the students support the aggressors; they think that teachers do not always intervene on these intimidating acts, and they consider that it is not common that this kind of acts happens among kids
