The Multilevel Marketing Management Strategy

Tato práce se zabývá „fenoménem“ dnešní doby a to multilevelovým marketingem (MLM). V první části je vysvětlen systém MLM a poté srovnán s „klasickým“ podnikáním a to z pohledu fungování, organizace a manažerského řízení. V druhé části je popsán MLM v konkrétní společnosti včetně zhodnocení SWOT analýzy. Na konci celé práce jsou navrhnuta případná řešení, jak udržet růst poskytovaného produktu či služby.This work deals with the "phenomenon" of today and multilevelovým marketing (MLM). The first part explains the MLM system and then compared with the "classic" business from the perspective of the functioning, organization and management control. The second part describes the specific MLM company, including assessment of SWOT analysis. At the end of this thesis are suggested possible solutions to sustain growth provided by the product or service.

The Influence of the Size and Shape of Test Specimen on the Elastic Modulus of Lightweight Concrete

Diplomová práce se zabývá sledováním vlivu tvaru, rozměru a typu zkušebního tělesa na hodnoty modulů pružnosti lehkého betonu. V rámci experimentu byla vyrobena řada různých těles, z betonů dvou receptur. Na tělesech se prováděly zkoušky pro stanovení statického modulu pružnosti a dynamického modulu pružnosti ultrazvukovou impulzovou metodou. Výsledky byly vyhodnoceny a jsou shrnuty v tabelární a grafické podobě.The diploma thesis deals with the determination of the influence of size, shape and type of test specimen on values of modulus of elasticity of light-weight concrete. A lot of different specimens were prepared from two concrete’s mixtures for the experiment. Tests for measurement of static modulus of elasticity and dynamic modulus of elasticity by ultrasonic impulse velocity method were made. The results were assessed and summarized in tabular and graphical form.

Sales prediction in the ice category applying fuzzy sets theory

With growing pressure on performance and data regarding customer behaviour and supply chain process widely available, stock keeping units aim to optimise the level of inventories. It is natural that good estimates of future sales can substantially increase the efficiency of the overall company. We can distinguish two basic perspectives: one assumes sales to be an independent process; the other explores its dependency on exogenous variables. In this paper we focus on the forecasting of sales in the Ice category when dependency on quarterly average temperatures in the form of exponential function is assumed. We concentrate especially on LFL-Forecaster, a method combining fuzzy transform and fuzzy natural logic of fuzzy sets theory, as a tool for average temperature forecasting. The results are compared with simple linear extrapolation and truly observed temperatures. The utilisation of LFL-Forecaster is found to be superior to simplifying linear regression

International equity portfolio risk modeling: the case of the NIG model and ordinary copula functions

Financial risk modeling and management are very important and challenging tasks for financial institutions’ quantitative units. Owing to the complex nature of portfolios, and given recent financial market developments, contemporary research is focused on tail modeling and/or dependency modeling. The main objective of this paper is to examine the potential contribution of Lévy-based subordinated models coupled by ordinary elliptical copula functions to the estimation of the distribution pattern of international equity portfolios. We observe that the subordinated NIG model coupled with the Student copula function, and in particular its combined estimation version, allows us to get very good estimates of portfolio risk measures.Web of Science62216114

Robust following control system of the two wheels platform

Diplomová práce je věnována problematice sledování trajektorie dvoukolového inverzního kyvadla. Je zde odvozen lineární matematický model, který popisuje dynamiku systému. Stabilizace a přímočarý pohyb dvojkolky jsou řešeny stavovou zpětnou vazbou. Rotace kolem svislé osy je řízena dynamickým PID regulátorem. There is deduction of the linear state-space model that describes the dynamics of the system. Stabilization and linear motion are controlled by state-feedback controller. The Modulus of Elasticity of Air-Entrained and Non-Air-Entrained Concrete

Bakalářská práce se zabývá ověřením míry vlivu provzdušňovací přísady na modul pružnosti betonu. Pro tyto účely byl proveden experiment, v jehož rámci byly stanoveny hodnoty statických a dynamických modulů pružnosti na vývrtech z betonových bloků různých receptur. Hodnoty dynamického modulu pružnosti byly určeny pomocí ultrazvukové impulzní a rezonanční metody. Zjištěné výsledky jsou shrnuty v tabelární a grafické podobě.The bachelor thesis deals with the verification of the degree of influence of the air-entraining admixture on the modulus of elasticity of concrete. The experiment was carried out for these purposes. The values of static and dynamic modulus of elasticity were determined on drilled cores from concrete blocks of different mixtures. The magnitudes of dynamic modulus of elasticity were determined by using an ultrasonic pulse velocity method and a resonance method. The results are summarized in tabular and graphical form.
