Las unidades industriales mesolíticas en la alta-media cuenca del Ebro

El texto recoge la información disponible a fines del 2000 sobre el mesolítico de la Alta-media cuenca del Ebro. Compilándola propone la partición del período en tres fases atendiendo a los valores de las industrias líticas: fase laminar, fase de muescas y denticulados y fase geométrica. Se detallan las particularidades de cada una de ellas: hábitat, datos económicos, industrias, encuadre radiocronológico. Se insiste en la “puesta en marcha” desde los inicios del holoceno de un territorio que, vertebrado, recibirá lo neolítico con rapidez y sin rupturas aparentes.Mesolithic industrial assemblages from the Middle and Upper Ebro Basin. The text summarizes the available information by late 2000 on the Mesolithic from the middle and Upper Ebro basin. All together following the values of the lithic industries, it points to the partition of the period in three phases: 1) laminar, 2) notches and denticulate, and 3) geometric phase. The particularities of each of them are detailed: habitat, economic data, industries, radiocarbon frame. We insist on the “setting out” from the beginning of the Holocene of this territory which, organized, will receive the neolithic quickly and with no obvious ruptures

Vías de intercambio y promoción del campaniforme marítimo y mixto sobre el interior peninsular

El trabajo recoge exhaustivamente información sobre los campaniformes internacionales de la Península Ibérica (puntillados y mixtos). Observando su ubicación se propone una vía de distribución terrestre en vez de marítima. Por último se avisa sobre el hecho de que a medida que los items campaniformes se van integrando entre los grupos aparecerán en contextos variados: funerarios y de habitación (en un segundo momento)

El dominio de la cerámica boquique: discusiones técnicas y cronoculturales

El presente estudio profundiza en aquello que se conoce en la historigrafía peninsular como "técnica boquique". Junto a la aproximación a la forma de aplicación de esta técnica decorativa, se hace un seguimiento de su área de dispersión por la península Ibérica y de su encuadre cronológico. De ello se deriva su vinculación con la expansión de las primeras entidades neolíticas por todo el interior peninsular, en contraposición con el ambito cardial que domina en el área costera mediterránea

Regions and Transferences in the Iberian Neolithic Path. The Case of the Lithic Projectiles

We analyze the evolution of the geometric proyectiles at the end of the Mesolithic and the beginnings of the Neolithic: this study is carried out region by region with special attention is given to the segments with retouch helwan. It is observed that during the Mesolithic is a shared evolution in the whole of the Iberian Peninsula and, at the same time, a regionalization according to the preferences by some or other types. During the Neolithic it renews the lithic industry, also the geometrics models. Again, there is a peninsular regionalization: affects to the lithic industry and to the other elements of material culture. Complementarily several examples of transfers are known. In this sense, the helwan segments identify the first Neolithic of, at least, the western half of the Ebro basin, the southwestern France and much of the peninsular interior. As a result of the Neolithic transferences, will also be known in the eastern half of the Ebro Basin and on the Mediterranean coast, at the Neolithic advanced times

Reflexiones en torno al campaniforme. Una mirada hacia el caso vasco

[ES] Dos intenciones básicas han motivado la redacción de este trabajo. Por una parte se reflexiona sobre la realidad del problema campaniforme como proceso histórico europeo, interrogándonos sobre su /¿ignificado y valorando aquellas opiniones sobre él vertidas, atendiendo, por otra parte, a las particularidades del caso vasco. Dentro del campaniforme pueden diferenciarse dos sagas consecutivas de rápida sucesión, ambas están presentes en el País Vasco y organizan varias entidades culturales diferenciadas y mantienen conexiones con diversas comarcas geográficas (con Bretaña, Languedoc, Centroeuropa, Submeseta Norte, Valle del Ebro). Se concluye afirmando que el entramado campaniforme debe integrarse, como un elemento más, dentro del dinámico desarrollo cultural que acontece entre el Neolítico Final y la consolidación de las sociedades complejas de la Edad del Bronce, de esta manera, pensamos, se obtendrá una más acertada lectura del proceso.[EN] This paper has two basic motives. On the one hand, there is a reflection on the reality of the bell-beaker problem as a European historical process, questioning its significance and the analysing various opinions thereon. On the other hand the peculiarities of the Basque case are examined. Within the bell-beaker period, we can distinguish two consecutive sagas in rapid succesion, both of which are present in the Basque Country, each belonging to a different cultural organization and maintaining contacts with various geographical regions (Brittany, Languedoc, Central Europe, the Northern Submeseta, the Ebro Valley). We affirm, in conclusión, that the bell-beaker phenomenon should be integrated as one more element in the dynamic cultural development which took place between the Upper Neolithic and the consolidation of the complex societies of the Bronze Age. In this way, we believe, a more correct interpretation of the process can be obtained

Cerámica neolítica de la región vasco-riojana: base documental y cronológica

Reviewing the pottery corpus from the Early Neolithic of the Basque-Riojan region, an evolution in style can be observed: afirst phase with undecorated and incised ceramics, followed one with impressed ceramics and a last phase in which the most significant techniques are cardial and boquique. Radiocarbon dating results date the earliest phase at the end of the eighth millennium BP, the second One at the middle of the seventh and the last phase by the last third of this millennium. These data force us to reopen the discussion about the role of pottery and "neolithic contexts".Presentando el corpus cerámico del Neolítico antiguo de la región vasco-riojana se observa una evolución estilística: una primera fase de cerámicas lisas o incisas, un momento con decoraciones impresas y una última donde se combinan, como técnicas más significativas, el cardial y el boquique. Los resultados radiocronológicos, que deben discutirse, nos retrotraen a finales del VIII milenio B.P. para el primer episodio, a mediados del VII para el segundo yal último tercio del mismo para el tercero. Los datos obligan a reabrir el debate sobre el papel de la cerámica y los "contextos neolíticos"
