Consultores, Empresários, Ferramentas de gestão e vinculação com Responsabilidade Social (Rosario)

This paper has addressed the issue of relating entrepreneurs and consultants from Rosario with management administrative tools (M) and social responsibility (SR) to improve their link. A survey has been made to local company managers to establish the M variables. Then, consultants and entrepreneurs were interviewed about the M and SR variables, separately. Differences in opinions were found between entrepreneurs and consultants. It was established those conditions an entrepreneurial and social businessman (CEOS) and an administration consultant must have. It is suggested a consulting service in administration, named Consultoría Acción y Social en Administración (CASA) (Consultancy Action and Social in Administration), which evaluates the M and SR variables. These variables allow linking consultants with  entrepreneurs and at the same time adding shared value not only to the company, but also to the society in the administrative management of their clients, what allows the development of a social and entrepreneurial management.Esta investigación ha abordado la problemática de relacionar empresarios y consultores de Rosario con las herramientas administrativas de gestión (M) y la responsabilidad social (RS), para mejorar la vinculación entre ambos. Se ha realizado una encuesta a gerentes de empresas de la zona, para determinar las M. Luego se ha entrevistado a consultores y a empresarios, por separado, sobre las variables RS y M. Se determinaron diferencias en opiniones entre empresarios y consultores. Se establecieron las condiciones que debe reunir un empresario emprendedor y social (CEOS), y un consultor. Se propone un consultoría en administración, denominado Consultoría Acción y Social en Administración (CASA) la que considera las variables M y RS, permiten vincular a consultores con empresarios y a su vez agregar valor compartido tanto para la empresa, como para la sociedad en la gestión administrativa de sus clientes, lo que permite el desarrollo de una gerencia emprendedora y social.Esta pesquisa abordou o problema de relacionar empresários e consultores de Rosário com as ferramentas administrativas de gestão (M) e a responsabilidade social (RS), para melhorar a vinculação entre ambos. Foi realizada uma enquete a gerentes de empresas da região, para determinar as M. Em seguida, foram entrevistados consultores e empresários, separadamente, sobre as variáveis RS e M. Foram determinadas diferenças de opiniões entre empresários e consultores. Estabeleceram-se as condições que deve reunir um empresário empreendedor e social (CEOS), e um consultor. É proposta uma consultoria em administração, denominada Consultoria de Ação e Social em Administração (CASA) que considera que as variáveis M e RS, permitem vincular consultores com empresários e, por sua vez, adicionar valor compartilhado para a empresa e para a sociedade na gestão administrativa de seus clientes, possibilitando o desenvolvimento de um gerenciamento empreendedor e social

Edge to Cloud Tools: A Multivocal Literature Review

Edge-to-cloud computing is an emerging paradigm for distributing computational tasks between edge devices and cloud resources. Different approaches for orchestration, offloading, and many more purposes have been introduced in research. However, it is still not clear what has been implemented in the industry. This work aims to merge this gap by mapping the existing knowledge on edge-to-cloud tools by providing an overview of the current state of research in this area and identifying research gaps and challenges. For this purpose, we conducted a Multivocal Literature Review (MLR) by analyzing 40 tools from 1073 primary studies (220 PS from the white literature and 853 PS from the gray literature). We categorized the tools based on their characteristics and targeted environments. Overall, this systematic mapping study provides a comprehensive overview of edge-to-cloud tools and highlights several opportunities for researchers and practitioners for future research in this area

Sporotrichoid Mycobacterium marinum infection in an elderly woman

We describe the case of an elderly woman who acquired a Mycobacterium marinum infection following skin exposure to the bacteria through a small wound on her right ring finger, obtained while preparing fish. The resultant sporotrichoid nodules of the right hand and the distal forearm, refractory to the initial therapy with doxycycline and rifampicin, were successfully treated with oral regimen of clarithromycin

Análisis y enseñanza del emprendedorismo en ingeniería

The objective of this work is to analyze the importance of including and teaching Entrepreneurship in the educational systems. In order to achieve it, the opinion of managers, teachers, students and graduates of an Engineering career in Argentina had been studied and correlated between them.A qualitative-quantitative methodology was employed. Face-to-face interviews were carried out with the career management department and an online survey was conducted with the fourth- and fifth-year students. Subsequently, a survey was conducted to the teachers of the career and, finally, graduates as well. The board members think that it is difficult for a subject to teach how to be an entrepreneur, but that it is better to transpose it by constantly setting an example, while the students show a great predisposition to start their own enterprises. The lecturers believe that their matter is of great importance to develop a sustainable country, but it is not fully developed within the career syllabus. The most influential factors in the entrepreneurial attitude are family and friends. Each group point out the lack of the linkage between Entrepreneurship and the career. It is important to make a change towards a develop of Entrepreneur skills in the University.Este trabajo tiene como objetivo analizar la importancia de incluir y enseñar el tema del Emprendedorismo en los sistemas educativos. Para esto, se releva y relaciona la opinión de directivos, docentes, alumnos y graduados de una carrera de Ingeniería en Argentina.Mediante el empleo de una metodología cuali-cuantitativa, se realizaron entrevistas presenciales al cuerpo de gestión de la carrera y se llevó a cabo una encuesta online a los alumnos de cuarto y quinto año. Posteriormente, se realizó una encuesta a los docentes de la carrera y, en último lugar, se encuestaron a los graduados. Los directivos opinan que es difícil que una materia pueda enseñar cómo ser un emprendedor, sino que es mejor realizar la transposición dando el ejemplo constante, en tanto que los alumnos muestran una gran predisposición a realizar emprendimientos propios. Los profesores opinan que el tema es necesario para el desarrollo sustentable del país, pero se encuentra poco desarrollado en la currícula de la carrera. Los factores más influyentes en la actitud emprendedora son la familia y amigos. Cada grupo encuestado marca una faltante en la vinculación del Emprendedorismo con la carrera, siendo importante un cambio hacia el sentido de un desarrollo emprendedor en la Universidad

Detection of newborn infants at risk for congenitat toxoplasmosis in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil

Within the third to fifth day after birth, btood samples for indirect immunefluorescence tests (rF) for toxoplasmosis were taken from l0B2 neonates. B?? (36.50/o) rF.rgG and rF-rgM seronegative cases and 65s (68.b%) rF-rgG seropositive cases reacting from 1:16 to 1:1024 were found. rn 1b such cases e.4%), sera were reactive in both the IgG and IgM classes, 12 cases being IF-IgM : 1:16, and B cases IF-I9M - L:64. These cases were considered. at potential risks for congenital infection þy T. gondii. of these 15 cases, a morphological study of 18 placentas showed data suggestive of prolonged fetal injuries in 11 such cases. All these 13 placentas showed signs of hematogenous inflammatory processes. Four placentas revealed structures with morphological characteristics similar to cysts of Toxo. plasma gondii at the microscopical examination. Of these four neonates where the parasite'was found in the placentas, one infant was underweight and showed discrete microcephaly. Two children had hepatosplenomegaþ, one of them with unilateral retinochoroiditis. The fourth case was clinicalþ normal. In the other 11 cases, selected due to possible risk of congenital infection, one infant was pre. mature, eight were normal, and two showed symptomatolog¡r non-suggestive of congenital toxoplasmosis

Bolivarian Alliance For The Peoples Of Our America - Peoples Trade Treaty: a challenge to integration theory

El análisis del ALBA-TCP (Alianza Bolivariana para los Pueblos de Nuestra América- Tratado de Comercio de los Pueblos) constituye un auténtico desafío para los conceptos y/o tipologías elaborados desde las teorías de la integración latinoamericana. Equiparable en principio a la ALADI (Asociación Latinoamericana de Integración) por estar basado, más en los hechos que en el papel, en un bilateralismo que constituye un paso previo hacia la multilateralización de las relaciones intrarregionales, el ALBA-TCP se diferencia sin embargo del pragmatismo de aquella otra iniciativa así como también de otras modalidades de integración conocidas, con las cuales contrasta fundamentalmente por su ajenidad a toda perspectiva comercialista. Partiendo del tradicional concepto de integración solidaria, pero pretendiendo a su vez trascenderlo, buscamos establecer nuevos abordajes que den cuenta de este proceso caracterizado por la promoción de los derechos económicos, sociales y culturales a través de acciones concretas que involucran al menos a dos de sus Estados miembros.The analysis of the ALBA-TCP (The Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America - Peoples Trade Treaty) poses a significant challenge to the concepts and/or typologies developed in the Latin American integration theories. The ALBA-TCP can be first compared to the ALADI (Latin American Integration Association) since it is based, more on facts than written documents, on a bilateralism that constitutes a previous step towards multilateralism in interregional relations. However, it is different from ALADI’s pragmatism and other well-known integration modalities mainly due to its total lack of a commercial perspective. Starting from the traditional concept of solidarity-based integration, but at the same time intending to transcend it, we seek to establish new approaches that can account for this process, characterized by the promotion of economic, social and cultural rights through concrete actions that involve at least two of its member States.Instituto de Integración Latinoamericana (IIL
