In this study, we develop a model for routing cross-docking centers considering time windows and pricing routs. In this model picking and delivery in several times is permitted and each knot can be serviced by more than one vehicle. Every truck can transport one or more product, in other words, we consider compatibility between product and vehicle. This model includes two goals: reducing the total cost and reducing the cost of carrying goods (freight fare). The total cost includes the cost required to traverse between the points, the cost of traversing the routes between the central cross-docking center and the first points after moving, and the cost to traverse the routes between the last points in each route and the depots that must be minimized. In general, the purpose of the model is to obtain the number of cross-docking center, the number of vehicles and the best route in the distribution network. We present a nonlinear programming model for this problem. We have solved the proposed model by GAMS. As the dimensions of the problem increase, the implementation time of the program increases progressively. So, in order to solve the model in medium and large scales, we proposed a genetic meta-heuristic algorithm. The results of examining different issues by the meta-heuristic approach show the very high efficiency of the developed algorithms in terms of the solution time and the answer of the problem.

Developing and ranking strategies for machinery companies via QSPM and SWOT matrix: A case study in Toolid Atash machinery company

This paper aims to develop financial strategies for Toolid Atash Company in order to achieve product development and product improvement. For this task, we worked in a team consisting of four groups-mates and two company staff. The team helped us to explicate and clarify the mission and vision of the company. Using internal factor evaluation matrix and external factor evaluation matrix; the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats of the company were detected. Then, SWOT matrix was completed. In addition, the competitive position of the company was identified via a competitive evaluation matrix. Regarding SWOT matrix and competitors some proper strategy for these sorts of companies was developed and ranked based on QSPM matrix

Ground state of the staggered Heisenberg-Γ\Gamma honeycomb model in a magnetic field

We study the ground state properties of the S=12S=\frac{1}{2} staggered Heisenberg-Γ\Gamma honeycomb model under a magnetic field based on analytical and numerical methods. Our calculations show that the conventional zigzag and stripy phases are favored because of the staggered Heisenberg interaction away from the pure Γ\Gamma limit. In our classical analysis, we find that the field induces a series of competing magnetic phases with relatively large unit cells in the region sandwiched between the two magnetic phases with long-range ordering. In the quantum treatment, these large magnetic unit cells are destabilized by strong quantum fluctuations that result in the stabilization of a gapless quantum spin liquid behavior. In a honeycomb Γ\Gamma magnet, we disclose an intermediate-field gapless quantum spin liquid phase driven by a tilted field away from the out-of-plane direction only for a narrow region between the low-field zigzag and high-field fully polarized phases.Comment: 12 pages, 12 figure

The Effect of Exchange Rate and Exchange Rate Uncertainty on Domestic Consumption in SAARC Member Countries from 2005 to 2020

The exchange rate and its uncertainty are the key economic variables that influence other macroeconomic variables through various channels. Domestic consumption will be influenced by the exchange rate and its uncertainty. This research investigates the impact of the exchange rate and its uncertainty on the private sector consumption of the member countries of the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) from 2005 to 2020. The data has been extracted from the World Bank websites, the Asian Development Bank, and the Ministry of Finance of Afghanistan. The uncertainty of the exchange rate data has been extracted using the ARCH method, and the research model has been estimated using the GLS method. The research results indicate that the exchange rate and its uncertainty have a significant and positive effect on private-sector consumption. The positive relationship between the exchange rate and its uncertainty with consumption is consistent with the theory of currency pass-through. Additionally, the impact of income on domestic consumption is positive and statistically significant, while the impact of government consumption expenditure on private-sector consumption is negative and significant
