Valorização da expressão e educação físico motora pelos professores do 1º ciclo do ensino básico em S. João da Madeira

O trabalho apresenta-se dividido em duas partes, sendo estas constituídas por uma parte de análise à prática decorrida nos dois últimos semestres do Curso de Mestrado de Educação Pré-Escolar e Ensino do 1º Ciclo do Ensino Básico e uma parte que recai numa investigação sobre a Valorização da Expressão e Educação Físico Motora nos professores do 1º Ciclo do Ensino básico (1º CEB). A investigação decorreu no Conselho de S. João da Madeira com professores do 1º ciclo das escolas básicas públicas da cidade. Nesta investigação para além de uma pesquisa documental foram também utilizados inquéritos por questionário, onde, os resultados e conclusões apresentam uma incoerência por parte dos professores entre o que pensam e o que realmente operam.Abstract The work is presented in two parts, these consist of an analysis part of the practice lapsed in the last two semesters of the Master Course in Preschool Education and Teaching 1st Cycle of Basic Education and a part that rests in an investigation on the Valuation of Motor Speech and Physical Education teachers in the 1st cycle of basic education The research took place in the Council of S. João da Madeira with teachers of the 1st cycle of the public basic schools of the city. In this research, in addition to desk research were also used inquiries by questionnaires, were, the results and conclusions presented by an inconsistency between what teachers think and what they actually operate

Procurement de equipamentos de diagnóstico - vertente comercial e técnica

Ao nível da saúde um engenheiro biomédico pode desenvolver trabalhos bastante variados desde a manutenção de equipamentos de uso hospitalar, práticas de gestão de equipamentos e o desenvolvimento de novas técnicas de obtenção de imagem. Quando se fala em engenharia biomédica esta é associada na sua maioria das vezes à medicina humana, porém no estágio que fiz pude perceber o papel da engenharia bio-médica também ao nível da medicina veterinária. Este papel acaba por não ser totalmente diferente da medicina humana, uma vez que se lida com dispositivos médicos, mas estes estão direcionados para a área de saúde veterinária. No estágio curricular foi feita interação com outra engenheira biomédica e foram desempenhados vários papéis desde a preparação de um novo catálogo de equipamentos para 2014, pedidos de cotação de material hospitalar realizados mas também recebidos pela empresa, como também perceber a manutenção e a montagem de alguns equipamen-tos. Este relatório descreve o trabalho desenvolvido no âmbito de um estágio curricular com duração de cerca de dez meses na empresa Novavet. Este estágio teve também ligação a uma área mais comercial, o que fez com que pudesse perceber um pouco sobre a legislação portuguesa sobre a comercialização dos dispositivos médicos, nomeadamente importação e exportação. Tive ainda a oportunidade contactar com inúmeras empresas, quer portuguesas quer estrangeiras, na busca de dis-positivos médicos com a melhor relação qualidade/ preço por forma a colmatar a falta desses dispositivos em território nacional, ou mesmo arranjar um preço mais acessível conforme necessidades de clientes. Para que fosse possível estabelecer contactos com outras empresas, para assuntos de pedidos de cotação e outros, foi criado um e-mail ([email protected]) para que esses contactos pudessem acontecer com conhe-cimento da empresa e tivessem o nome da mesma associado.In terms of health, a biomedical engineer can develop quite varied works from the maintenance of hospital equipment, equipment management practices and the deve-lopment of new techniques to obtain image. When speaking in biomedical engineering this is associated most often to human medicine, but on the intership I could see the role of biomedical engineering also at the level of veterinary medicine. This report turns out not to be completely different from human medicine, since it deals with medical devices, but these are directed to the area of animal health. Internship was taken in interaction with other biomedical engineer and have played various roles since the preparation of a new catalog of equipment for 2014, made requests for quotation hospital supplies but also received by the company, like also realize the maintenance and installation of some devices. This intership also had a connection to a more commercial area, which caused that I could understand a little about the Portuguese legislation on the marketing of medical devices, including import and export. I also had the opportunity to contact with numerous companies either Portuguese or foreign, seeking for medical devices with the best quality / price ratio in order to address the lack of these devices in the country, or even get a more affordable price as needs customers. Numa época tão competitiva, onde novas profissões estão sempre a surgir, a formação e o desenvolvimento de competências pessoais e profissionais são cada vez mais condições imprescindíveis para a manutenção da empregabilidade e uma ferramenta essencial para a gestão da carreira. Este trabalho apresenta um estudo da música como recurso didático para as aulas de Língua Portuguesa (interpretação, produção de textos e gramática), a partir de uma pesquisa realizada em uma Escola Estadual de Ensino Médio, objetivando oferecer subsídios para que o aprendizado de língua portuguesa, especificamente do ensino médio, torne-se mais instigante para o aluno em sala de aula, considerando que muitos professores se preocupam em aprimorar suas metodologias de ensino e em envolver o aluno no conteúdo de língua materna.This work presents a study of music as a didactic resource for Portuguese Language (interpretation, production of texts and grammar), from a research carried through in a State School of Average Education, objectifying to offer subsidies for classes of Portuguese Language, specifically of average education, it becomes provocative for the pupil in classroom, because many professors are worried in improving their methodologies education and involving the student in the first language content

Is there association between chronic kidney disease and dental caries? A case-controlled study

The purpose of this study was to assess the association between chronic kidney diseases (CKD) and dental caries. 107 patients with CKD and 107 with no systemic alteration were randomly included. DMFT (decayed, missing, and filled teeth), plaque index, colony-forming units (CFU) of Streptococcus mutans and salivary composition (IgA total, IgA anti- Streptococcus mutans, calcium and urea) were evaluated. McNemar and Wilcoxon tests were used to compare test and control groups. Spearman test was used to correlate time of hemodialysis and variables studied. Associations between variables were evaluated by logistic regression analysis. The number of filled teeth, the amount of IgA anti-Streptococcus mutans, salivary urea, education level, monthly income and the amount of CFU of Streptococcus mutans were statistically different between groups. There was a positive correlation between the duration of hemodialysis (Hd) and the amount of IgA anti-Streptococcus mutans, urea in saliva, and the number of CFU of Streptococcus mutans. In the adjusted model, a higher incidence of CFU mutans streptococci, elevated salivary urea, smaller number of filled teeth, lower DMFT, and less calcium salivary were associated with CKD. Programs to prevent and treat oral problems and regular follow-up at the beginning of dialysis are necessary to increase patients? awareness of their condition

Izolacija emergentnih ljudskih patogena i patogena koji se prenose hranom u kliničkim slučajevima infekcija od pasa i mačaka zaprimljenih u veterinarsku kliniku u sjevernom Portugalu

Nowadays, dogs and cats are considered family members, translating into increased proximity to humans. Studies have shown that 40-60% of owners have very close interactions e.g., sharing the same dish, face lickings, or sleeping on the same bed. This promotes the exchange of microorganisms between species. Therefore, an One Health approach should be applied to encompass both human and animal health problems. In this study, 37 cases of companion animals (54.1% dogs and 45.9% cats) in a veterinary clinic in northern Portugal were analysed, and urinary and eye infections, respiratory conditions, and dermatological problems were confirmed. According to sample type, 43.2% were from urine, 13.5% from ear exudate, 8.1% from skin exudate, 8.1% from tracheal exudate, 2.7% from vaginal exudate, 2.7% from conjunctiva exudate, 2.7% from purulent exudate, 2.7% from bronchoalveolar exudate, 2.7% from ocular exudate, and 2.7% from blood. In all, 21 pathogen species were isolated, of which Pantoea agglomerans, Cronobacter sakazakii, Leclercia adecarboxylata, Sphingomonas paucimobilis are currently considered emerging agents of human infection. The occurrence of these species was 2.4% for Leclercia adecarboxylata (one young male cat), 2.4% for Pantoea agglomerans (one adult male dog), 2.4% for Cronobacter sakazakii (one adult male dog), and 2.4% for Sphingomonas paucimobilis (one adult male dog). Leclercia adecarboxylata is a gram-negative bacillus of the Enterobacteriaceae family. It is a ‘novel’ rare human pathogen, mostly affecting immunocompromised individuals or causing polymicrobial infections in immunocompetent patients. Cronobacter sakazakii is an emerging foodborne pathogen that causes necrotizing enterocolitis and bacteremia in humans, Pantoea agglomerans is associated with a hospital-acquired infection, mostly in immunocompromised individuals with a fatal outcome. Sphingomonas paucimobilis is an emerging opportunistic bacterium with a particular tropism toward bones and soft tissues. The intimate relationship between humans and companion animals presents a potential risk for the transmission of zoonotic pathogens. Therefore, more research based on an One Health approach should be performed to more accurately determine the occurrence and incidence of emerging agents between species.U današnje vrijeme, psi i mačke smatraju se članovima obitelji, što podrazumijeva sve veću bliskost s ljudima. Nekoliko studija pokazalo je da 40-60 % vlasnika ima vrlo blizak odnos, npr. dijeljenje iste hrane, lizanje lica ili spavanje na istom krevetu. To potiče razmjenu mikroorganizama među vrstama. Iz tog je razloga potrebno primijeniti pristup Jednog zdravlja da bi se obuhvatili i ljudski i životinjski zdravstveni problemi. U ovoj je studiji analizirano 37 slučajeva kućnih ljubimaca (54,1 % pasa i 45,9 % mačaka) u veterinarskoj klinici u sjevernom Portugalu. Kazuistika je uključivala infekcije urinarnog trakta i očiju, respiratorna stanja i dermatološke probleme. Prema vrsti uzoraka, 43,2 % su bili iz urina, 13,5 % iz eksudata iz uha, 8,1 % iz eksudata iz kože, 8,1 % iz eksudata iz dušnika, 2,7 % iz vaginalnog eksudata, 2,7 % iz eksudata iz sluznice, 2,7 % iz gnojnog eksudata, 2,7 % iz bronhoalveolarnog eksudata, 2,7 % iz očnog eksudata i 2,7 % iz krvi. Izolirani su patogeni 21 različite vrste, od čega se Pantoea agglomerans, Cronobacter sakazakii, Leclercia adecarboxylata, Sphingomonas paucimobilis, trenutno smatraju emergentnim uzročnicima ljudske infekcije. Pojavnost ovih vrsta bila je 2,4 % za Leclercia adecarboxylata (jedan mladi mačak), 2,4 % za Pantoea agglomerans (jedan mladi pas), 2,4 % za Cronobacter sakazakii (jedan mladi pas) i 2,4 % za Sphingomonas paucimobilis (jedan mladi pas). Leclercia adecarboxylata je gram-negativni bacil iz obitelji enterobakterija. To je rijedak „novi“ ljudski patogen koji uglavnom pogađa imunokompromitirane pojedince ili prouzroči polimikrobne infekcije u imunokompetentnih bolesnika. Cronobacter sakazakii je emergentni patogen koji se prenosi hranom, a koji prouzroči nekrotizirajući enterokolitis i bakterijemiju u ljudi, Pantoea agglomerans povezana je s bolničkom infekcijom, uglavnom kod imunokompromitiranih pojedinaca sa smrtnim slučajevima. Sphingomonas paucimobilis je emergentna oportunistička bakterija s posebnim tropizmom za kosti i meka tkiva. Bliski odnos između ljudi i ljubimaca predstavlja potencijalni rizik prijenosa zoonotskih patogena. Iz tog je razloga potrebno provesti dodatna istraživanja na temelju pristupa Jednog zdravlja, da bi se preciznije odredila pojavnost i incidencija emergentnih uzročnika među vrstama

Assessment, accountability, transparency and open government
