    Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian ex post facto. Adapun tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan kemandirian belajar dengan prestasi belajar mata diklat motor otomotif siswa kelas XII Mekanik Otomotif di SMK PIRI I Yogyakarta, mengetahui hubungan lingkungan keluarga dengan prestasi belajar mata diklat motor otomotif siswa kelas XII Mekanik Otomotif di SMK PIRI I Yogyakarta dan untuk mengetahui hubungan kemandirian belajar dan lingkungan keluarga secara bersama-sama dengan prestasi belajar mata diklat motor otomotif siswa kelas XII Mekanik Otomotif di SMK PIRI I Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian populasi, subjek penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas XII Mekanik Otomotif di SMK PIRI I Yogyakarta yang berjumlah 87 siswa. Pengumpulan data kemandirian belajar dan lingkungan keluarga dilakukan dengan metode angket. Uji coba instrumen dilaksanakan pada siswa kelas XII Mekanik Otomotif (khusus Yamaha) sebanyak 29 siswa dan dianalisis menggunakan uji validitas dan uji reliabilitas. Untuk mengetahui hubungan kemandirian belajar dan lingkungan keluarga dengan prestasi belajar digunakan teknik analisis korelasi Product Moment. Sedangkan untuk mengetahui hubungan kemandirian belajar dan lingkungan keluarga secara bersama-sama dengan prestasi belajar digunakan teknik analisis korelasi ganda yang dilanjutkan dengan analisis regresi ganda. Tingkat signifikansi hasil analisis ditentukan sebesar 5%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat diperoleh kesimpulan sebagai berikut: (1) Ada hubungan positif antara kemandirian belajar dengan prestasi belajar mata diklat motor otomotif siswa kelas XII Mekanik Otomotif di SMK PIRI I Yogyakarta yang ditunjukkan dengan koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,605. (2) Ada hubungan positif antara lingkungan keluarga dengan prestasi belajar mata diklat motor otomotif siswa kelas XII Mekanik Otomotif di SMK PIRI I Yogyakarta yang ditunjukkan dengan koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,516. (3) Ada hubungan positif antara kemandirian belajar dan lingkungan keluarga secara besama-sama dengan prestasi belajar mata diklat motor otomotif siswa kelas XII Mekanik Otomotif di SMK PIRI I Yogyakarta ditunjukkan dengan koefisien korelasi (R) 0,636 dan koefisien determinasi (R2) sebesar 0,405. Hal ini berarti sumbangan kemandirian belajar dan lingkungan keluarga terhadap prestasi belajar sebesar 40,5%, sedangkan 59,5% disumbang oleh variabel lain yang tidak dibahas dalam penelitian ini

    This article is a study on I.G.K Murniasih’s paintings on the perspective of hermeneutics. It focuses on the aspects of symbolic-narrative, i.e. the narrative elements which optimized the potentials of symbols. The study has successfully defined the symbolic narrative in visual works, specifically in Murniasih’s tings. Symbolic narrative in visual works is in line with suggestive narrative in literary works. The symbolic narrative is formed by symbolic elements that are related each other to build a structure and a narrative pattern. In Murniasih’s works the narrative elements are supported by and originated from Murni’s biographical body; the experiencing body. In other words, Murniasih’s paintings are those which tell about the body related to he bio graphical experience. In addition, it is thematically found that the symbolic narrative is around the relationship between men and women in various episodes; the relationship of harmony, domination, ideology, power, and rebellion

    Growth of Smaller Grain Attached on Larger One: Algorithm to Overcome Unphysical Overlap between Grain

    As a smaller grain, which is attached on larger one, is growing, it pushes also the larger one and other grains in its surrounding. In a simulation of similar system, repulsive force such as contact force based on linear spring-dashpot model can not accommodate this situation when cell growing rate is faster than simulation time step, since it produces sudden large overlap between grains that makes unphysical result. An algorithm that preserves system linear momentum by introducing additional velocity induced by cell growth is presented in this work. It should be performed in an implicit step.     Implementation of Integrated Quality Management in Improving the Quality of MTs Graduates in Pondok Pesantren Kholafiyah

    The background of this research MTs inferior quality of graduates, allegedly because not terimplementasinya m anagement m utu t erpadu (MMT) so that the performance of education and learning is still weak. The research objective to describe the preparation, steps, processes, supervision, results, problems, solutions and innovative ideas in the implementation of m anagement m utu t erpadu in improving the quality of graduates MTs in Kholafiyah Pontren environment. The research foundation used is theological, philosophical, theoretical, and tual concepts , the six value systems, and relevant prior research. Using Edward Sallis' theory of integrated quality management (TQM) with a qualitative approach with descriptive methods . T eknik collecting data through interviews, observation , and documentation study. The research location is MTs Assalam Darul Faizah Warungkiara and MTs Al-Ma'tuq Cisaat Sukabumi Regency . The results of the research are as follows: (1) preparation for the implementation of MMT has been going well, starting with the preparation of programs and work plans for Islamic boarding schools in macro and micro MTs, (2) MMT steps begin with the formulation of the vision, mission, and objectives of the pesantren. holistically and integrated with the vision, mission and objectives of MTs, (3) the implementation process of MMT in general is related to quality learning services, (4) supervision in MMT implementation is carried out through four techniques, namely coaching, monitoring, guidance, and performance appraisal, (5) the results of the implementation of MMT produced a generation that is faithful, devoted, berakhlakul karimah, academic achievement and non-academic, (6) the problem that ditemu right in the implementation of MMT is partly HR and education Personnel not in accordance with educational qualifications and operational costs of education not yet balanced with the amount of madrasah income, (7) efforts made to overcome the problem d ith a regeneration program for teachers and education personnel through lectures in accordance with the needs of the institution. For educational operational costs, there is a movement to finance a cross-subsidized system from parents / guardians of students with advanced economic conditions (aghniya), and (8) innovative ideas in implementing MMT to improve the quality of MTs graduates in the Pontren Kholafiyah environment, namely the application of the “integrated quality management model. Islamic boarding schools integrated into madrasah education units. The implication of the research results is that the implementation of MMT can improve the quality of graduates, so every education unit must apply it .     PENGEMBANGAN PROGRAM PEMBELAJARAN “GenDerAng” UNTUK MENINGKATKAN MINAT DAN PEMAHAMAN KONSEP SISWA PEREMPUAN PADA PELAJARAN FISIKA

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan program pembelajaran “GenDerAng” yang dapat meningkatkan minat dan pemahaman konsep siswa perempuan pada pelajaran fisika. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian dan pengembangan atau Research and Development (R & D), dengan tahapan penelitian, yaitu; Studi Pendahuluan; Perencanaan; Pengembangan; Implementasi; dan Pelaporan. Pada tahap studi pendahuluan dilakukan studi pustaka terhadap hasil riset dan kurikulum SMA terkait kesenjangan gender, analisis kondisi tingkat kontribusi kaum perempuan pada bidang fisika dan pengamatan terhadap minat belajar siswa perempuan pada pelajaran fisika. Tahap perencanaan melakukan identifikasi terhadap minat dan pemahaman siswa perempuan pada pelajaran fisika, pemilihan konsep-konsep yang dianggap kompleks dan sering menjadi faktor terjadinya kesenjangan gender pada fisika, melakukan analisis kebutuhan terhadap kondisi kesenjangan gender, dilanjutkan dengan merancang program pembelajaran dan perangkat pendukungnya, yakni; Silabus, Lembar Keja Siswa, Media Pembelajaran, Bahan Ajar, dan alat Evaluasi. Pada tahap pengembangan dilakukan validasi program berupa penilaian ahli (expert appraisal) terhadap perangkat pembelajaran dan uji coba terbatas serta uji coba lebih luas pada kelas tertentu yang digunakan untuk memperbaiki rancangan program. Tahap Implementasi adalah uji program pembelajaran menggunakan Randomized pretest-posttest Control Group Design. Populasi penelitian terdiri dari siswa kelas 12 IPA pada SMA Negeri di Kota Depok Jawa-Barat. Sampel dipilih dengan teknik purposive sampling, terdiri dari dua kelas, yakni kelas eksperimen sebanyak 41 siswa (23 siswa perempuan dan 18 siswa laki-laki), dan kelas kontrol sebanyak 41 siswa (21 siswa perempuan dan 20 siswa laki-laki). Alat pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah tes, rubrik, lembar observasi, dan angket. Data dianalisis dengan analisis deskriptif dan inferensial. Hasil penelitian adalah program pembelajaran “GenDerAng” kepanjangan dari Generating, Deriving, dan Accomplishing, dan menjadi fase pembelajaran. “GenDerAng” juga mengandung kata Gender (sebagai karakter perempuan), serta memiliki arti dalam kata Bahasa Indonesia adalah alat musik tabuh yang mampu memberikan dorongan semangat. Fase program pembelajaran “GenDerAng”, adalah: 1) Generating apersepsi dan orientasi terhadap kondisi awal siswa terutama pada kesenjangan gender dan stimulus melalui contoh aplikasi fisika dalam kehidupan sehari-hari dan rencana bidang karir dengan latar belakang fisika, 2) “Deriving” aktivitas inti pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing metode eksperimen dan diskusi dimana guru sebagai fasilitator dengan panduan LKS serta pemanfaatan program simulasi sebagai media, 3) “Accomplishing” refleksi dan evaluasi hasil pembelajaran dengan test individual. Program pembelajaran “GenDerAng” dapat meningkatkan minat siswa perempuan pada pelajaran fisika yang ditunjukkan dengan sikap belajar dan dapat meningkatkan pemahaman konsep pada konsep-konsep yang dianggap kompleks dengan N-gain 57%. The aim of this research is to develop a learning program "GenDerAng" that can increase female student of interest and understanding the concept in physics. The method used is the research and development (R & D), with the stages of research, namely; Preliminary studies; Planning; Development; Implementation; and Reporting. At the stage of preliminary studies conducted literature on research results and high school curriculum related gender gap, analyzes the condition level of female's contribution in physics and observations on female student’s interest in physics lesson. Planning stage identification of interest and understanding female students in physics, the selection of concepts that are considered complex and often become a factor in the gender gap of physics, conduct a needs analysis the condition of the gender gap, followed by design learning programs and peripheral devices, namely; Syllabus, Work Sheet Students, Media’s learning, Instructional Materials, and evaluation tools. In the validation stage of the development is done in the form of an expert assessment program (expert appraisal) of the learning device and limited testing and trials was larger in certain classes that are used to improve the design of program. The implementation stage is to test the learning program using a randomized pretest-posttest control group design. The study population consisted of grade 12 science students at high schools in Depok-West Java. Samples were selected by purposive sampling technique, consists of two classes, namely the experimental class were 41 students (23 girls and 18 boys), and control classes were 41 students (21 girls and 20 boys). Instrument of data collection in this study were a test, rubric, observation sheets and questionnaires. Data were analyzed by descriptive and inferential analysis. The results showed that the learning program "GenDerAng" stands for Generating, Deriving, and accomplishing, and become learning stage."GenDerAng" also contains the word gender (as a female character), as well as having meaning in Indonesian word is a percussion musical instrument that can provide encouragement. Stage of the learning program "GenDerAng", are: 1) Generating apperception and orientation of the initial conditions, particularly at the gender gap and stimulus through example applications of physics in daily activity and career plans with a background of physics, 2) "Deriving" core activity guided inquiry learning and discussion of the experimental method in which the teacher as a facilitator to guide the use of worksheets and simulation programs as the media, 3) "accomplishing" reflection and evaluation of learning outcomes at the individual test. Learning program "GenDerAng" can increase female students' interest in physics lesson and can increase female students understanding concept in physics with N-gain 57%

    Tujuan penelitian ini untuk melihat pengaruh pendekatan saintifik terhadap peningkatan kemampuan memecahkan masalah situasi gerak permainan invasi. Metode Eksperimen dan Populasi seluruh siswa kelas X IPA SMA Negeri 1 Nagreg. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 92 orang yang diambil dengan menggunakan teknik claster assigment random sampling. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian dan analisis bahwa penggunaan metode pendekatan saintifik dan metode konvensional memberikan pengaruh terhadap kemampuan memecahkan masalah situasi gerak. Berdasarkan hasil penghitungan pada kelompok eksperimen diperoleh t-hitung 7.942 dan kelompok kontrol diperoleh t-hitung 3.693 > t-tabel 2.015. Pendekatan saintifik lebih memberikan pengaruh signifikan dibandingkan dengan metode konvensional. Berdasarkan hasil penghitungan diperoleh data t-hitung 11.552 > t-tabel 2.015., maka h1 diterima. ; The purpose of this research is to see the influence of scientific approach towards the increase of students’ ability to solve the motion situation problem in the invasion games. The method used in this research was experimental method in which the population was all of the first grade science students in SMA Negeri 1 Nagreg. The sample of this research included 92 students who were taken by using cluster assignment random sampling technique. Based on test results and analysis, it can be concluded that the use of scientific approach method and conventional method give influences on students’ ability in solving motion situation problem. Based on the calculation results of the experimental group, the t-count is 7,942, while the control group has obtained t-count 3,693> t-table 2,015. Besides, it can be concluded that the scientific approach gives more significant influences than the conventional methods. Based on the calculation results, it is obtained data t count 11,552 > t-table 2,015, then h1 is accepted

    Penelitian ini membahas mengenai upaya yang dilakukan oleh organisasi keagamaan FPI dalam pengendalian sosial atas maraknya bentuk penyimpangan sosial di masyarakat. Penelitian yang berjudul eksistensi organisasi keagamaan FPI (Front Pembela Islam) dalam upaya pengendalian penyimpangan sosial di masyarakat, bertujuan untuk mengungkapkan mengenai eksistensi organisasi kegamaan FPI dalam upaya pengendalian penyimpangan sosial di masyarakat, kendala yang ditemui FPI dalam upaya pengendalian penyimpangan sosial di masyarakat, dan upaya yang dilakukan oleh FPI dalam mengatasi kendala yang ditemui dalam upaya pengendalian penyimpangan sosial. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan metode deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan yaitu dengan cara melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi, studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa 1) Kegiatan yang dilakukan oleh FPI Cikarang Utara dalam upaya pengendalian penyimpangan sosial bertujuan untuk menegakkan amar ma’ruf nahi munkar yang berarti menyeru kepada kebaikan dan mencegah atau memerangi kemungkaran. Ada dua cara yang dilakukan FPI dalam kegiatan pengendalian sosial yaitu dengan cara dakwah yang bersifat pengendalian persuasif dan kegiatan pengendalian sosial dengan cara hisbah yang lebih bersifat pengendalian koersif. 2) Kendala yang dihadapi FPI dalam kegiatan pengendalian sosial yaitu disebabkan oleh internal dan eksternal FPI. 3) Adapun upaya yang dilakukan oleh FPI dalam mengatasi kendala dalam kegiatan pengendalian sosial yaitu dilakukan oleh FPI sendiri dan menjalin kerja sama dengan elemen masyarakat, pihak pemerintah, dan pihak kepolisian.;---This study discussed the efforts made by religious organization FPI in social control over the rampant irregularities in the form of social deviation in society. The study, entitled the existence of religious organization FPI (Islamic Defenders Front) in efforts to control social deviation in society, aimed to reveal about the existence of religious organization FPI in controlling social deviation in society, the obstacles encountered by FPI in an attempt to control social deviation in society, and the strategy or the efforts made by the FPI in overcoming the obstacles encountered in efforts to control social deviation. This research used qualitative descriptive method and approach. The techniques of data collection were conducted through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation studies. The result of the research indicated that 1) The activities carried out by North Cikarang FPI in an effort to control social deviation aimed at erecting amar ma’ruf nahi munkar which means appeal for the goodness and preventing or combating injustice. There were two ways done by FPI in the activities of social control namely by way of persuasive propaganda and social control activities in a way of coercive control. 2) The obstacles faced by FPI in the control of social activities were caused by the internal and external of FPI. 3) As for the efforts made by the FPI in overcoming obstacles in social control activities were carried out by FPI itself and cooperating with elements of society, the government, and the police

    Penelitian ini berjudul Analisis Tingkat Work Life Balance (WLB) dan Penilaian Kinerja Terhadap Motivasi Kerja dan Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) karyawan PT. Buma Apparel Industry Subang. Berdasarkan pengamatan dilapangan, peneliti menemukan adanya data turn over karyawan yang tinggi, sehingga diduga unsur tersebut termasuk kedalam indikator variabel-variabel yang teliti. Penelitian dilakukan dengan cara menyebarkan angket kepada karyawan yang berjumlah 100 responden. Metode sampling yang digunakan yaitu simple random sampling (Becker & Doyle, 2016). Deskripsi work life balance tertinggi pada indikator, pk merasa kurang ditilai oleh atasan pada indikator, sedangkan indikator tertinggi motivasi pada insentif, dan terendah pada persepsi gaji, sedangkan indikator OCB terendah pada indikator perilaku melebihi. Berdasarkan pengolahan data angket dengan metode analisis jalur (path analysis) dengan derajat kepercayaan 95 % (alfa 0,05) dapat disimpulkan bahwa tingkat Work Life Balance karyawan PT. Buma Apparel Industry berpengaruh positif terhadap tingkat Motivasi dengan nilai koefisien beta sebesar 0,543. Sedangkan pengaruh Penilaian Kinerja terhadap motivasi tidak signifikan. Pengaruh WLB dan PK terhadap OCB tidak signifikan (0,1), sedangkan tingkat motivasi terhadap OCB berpengaruh sebesar 0,2 yang temasuk kategori hubungan korelasi rendah. ;--- This study title was “The Analysis of Work Life Balance and performance appraisal to the Motivation and its implication to Organizational Citizenship Behavior ” at Buma Apparel Industry worker at Subang. According to the actual observation, the writer found turn over data along October 2015, thus the data indicate several evidence to the lack of OCB in the firm. The research implemented by spreeding the questionnaire to 100 respondens who work at Buma Apparel Industry Subang West Java. The sample size decide by simple random sampling method (Becker & Doyle, 2016). The work life balance indicator reach the higest score on working hour flexibility, the performance appraisal indicator get the higest score at the labor discipline appraisal, and the higest indicator score of job motivation is the incentive, and the lowest at salary perception, and the lowest score of OCB indicator on the extra behavior working . According to the data tabulation through the path analysis method with the 95 % of confident degree (alfa 0,05) concluded that the Work Life Balance of Buma Apparel Industry employee influent positevely on motivational level with 0,543 of beta coefficient. Whereas the performance appraisal not significanly influent on motivation. The effect of WLB and PA is not significant on OCB (0,1 of beta coefficient), in contrast, the motivation affect the OCB positively with the 0,2 beta coefficient, this corelation is weak according to the corelation criteria.
