Recurso Electr?nicoEn este estudio se examina las caracter?sticas de la comprensi?n de los enunciados en la resoluci?n de problemas para la sustracci?n de tipo comparaci?n, en estudiantes de grado 4?, por medio de unos cuestionarios realizados a 38 estudiantes de una instituci?n educativa oficial en la ciudad de Ibagu?. Con esto se pretende organizar la informaci?n de manera descriptiva apoyado por autores c?lebres en la educaci?n matem?tica como lo es Maza (1991), Luce?o (1999), Puig y Cerdan (1988) entre otros; que brindan insumos para la estructuraci?n de procesos fundamentales en la comprensi?n de enunciados. Las categor?as formadas desde las respuestas de los ni?os, tales como comprensi?n lectora, comprensi?n matem?tica, formulaci?n de m?todos de soluci?n y otras (est?n orientadas por el marco te?rico), que son fundamentales para un entendimiento m?s claro y practico en los ni?os, deben ser analizadas de manera detallada para poder generar una verdadera comprensi?n en los enunciados. Con respecto a los problemas, arrojan resultados heterog?neos; considerando que, para la comprensi?n adecuada, los estudiantes deben encontrarse en los mayores niveles de cada categor?a al cursar el grado 4?, es decir, se encuentra dificultades en cada una de las categor?as establecidas en este documento. This is intended to organize the information in a descriptive manner, supported by mathematics education famous authors as Maza (1991), Luce?o(1999), Puig and Cerdan (1988), among others; who provide input for fundamental processes structuration in mathematical formulations understanding. The categories formed from students? answers, as reading comprehension, mathematics comprehension, formulation of settlement methods, and other (they are oriented by the theoretical framework) are essential for a clearer and more practical understanding among children and should be analyzed in detail to generate genuine comprehension of the mathematical formulations. Regarding problems, they show mixed results; considering that, for a proper comprehension, students must be at the highest levels of each category when studying 4th grade, namely, they are found difficulties in each of the categories established in this document. La grafomotricidad en el proceso de aprendizaje de los ni?os de 5 a?os de la instituci?n t?cnica Sumapaz Sede Santa Clara

Severity of left ventricular remodeling defines outcomes and response to therapy in heart failure Valsartan heart failure trial (Val-HeFT) echocardiographic data

AbstractObjectivesThe objective of this study was to test the hypothesis that the severity of left ventricular remodeling predicts the response to treatment and outcomes in chronic heart failure.BackgroundReversal of remodeling should produce the most favorable outcome in patients with the most severe remodeling.MethodsIn 5,010 heart failure patients on background therapy and randomized to valsartan and placebo, serial recordings of left ventricular internal diastolic diameter (LVIDd) and ejection fraction (EF) were read at sites that had to meet qualifying standards before participating. Baseline LVIDd and EF were pooled across treatments and retrospectively grouped by quartiles Q1 to Q4, representing best to worst. Kaplan-Meier survival curves were obtained by the log-rank test. Q1 was compared with Q4 for mortality and combined mortality and morbidity (M + M) from Cox regression risk ratios (RRs). Valsartan versus placebo changes from baseline in LVIDd and EF were analyzed by quartiles from analysis of covariance. Valsartan and placebo were compared by RRs for M + M.ResultsSurvival rates were greater in the better quartiles for LVIDd and EF (p < 0.00001). The RR for Q1 versus Q4 in events approached 0.5 for both LVIDd and EF (p < 0.0001). An LVIDd decrease and EF increase were quartile-dependent and greater with valsartan than placebo at virtually all time points. The RR for M + M outcomes favored valsartan in the worse quartiles.ConclusionsStratification by baseline severity of remodeling showed that patients with worse LVIDd and EF are at highest risk for an event, yet appear to gain the most anti-remodeling effect and clinical benefit with valsartan treatment

Galactic Collapse of Scalar Field Dark Matter

We present a scenario for galaxy formation based on the hypothesis of scalar field dark matter. We interpret galaxy formation through the collapse of a scalar field fluctuation. We find that a cosh potential for the self-interaction of the scalar field provides a reasonable scenario for galactic formation, which is in agreement with cosmological observations and phenomenological studies in galaxies.Comment: 4 pages, 3 figue

La estimulaci?n psicomotriz como factor determinante del desarrollo en el ni?o de preescolar

Recurso Electr?nicoEl presente proyecto de investigaci?n menciona la importancia de la estimulaci?n psicomotriz como factor determinante en ?l desarrollo de los ni?os y ni?as en edad preescolar, dado que constituye un elemento esencial para un adecuado desarrollo de las dimensiones que fortalecen los procesos de aprendizaje de los infantes. Como parte de un proceso de investigaci?n formativa llevado a cabo en el Jard?n Infantil Chiquilladas, y siguiendo el modelo de investigaci?n cualitativa, el proyecto se ejecut? en dos fases: la primera orientada a reconocer los discursos y pr?cticas pedag?gicas de la instituci?n a trav?s de la observaci?n, entrevistas informales y revisi?n documental para llegar a la identificaci?n de la problem?tica que enfoca una carencia en la planeaci?n y desarrollo de actividades promotoras del desarrollo psicomotriz en los ni?as. Por otra parte, el proyecto en su segunda fase propone la intervenci?n pedag?gica para dar sentido a un proyecto de aula basado en estrategias estimuladoras para los ni?os, y planear acciones concretas hacia la estimulaci?n psicomotriz. En el proceso de intervenci?n y con la problem?tica ya identificada se implementaron, planificaron y se dise?aron actividades que contribuyen al desarrollo psicomotriz en los ni?os de preescolar, toda vez que en el desarrollo del ni?o menor de siete a?os se hace fundamental incluir en el aula acciones estimuladoras para potenciar el proceso psicol?gico y corporal en aras de potenciar toda la capacidad del ser y, proporcionar competencias b?sicas para asumir y enfrentar los retos que la vida le propone.This research project mentions the importance of psychomotor stimulation as a crucial factor in the development of children of preschool age, since it constitutes an essential element for proper development of the dimensions that strengthen development processes and learning infants. As part of a process of formative research conducted in kindergarten Chiquilladas, following the model of qualitative research, the project was implemented in two phases: the first aimed at recognizing speech and pedagogical practices of the institution through observation, informal interviews and document review to lead to the identification of the problems that a lack focuses on the planning and development of activities promoting the psychomotor development in girls. Moreover, the project in its second phase proposes the pedagogical intervention to make sense of a classroom project strategies based on stimulating children, and plan concrete actions toward psychomotor stimulation. Muchos pa?ses cuentan con programas de alimentaci?n escolar; sin embargo no existe una f?rmula ?nica para gestionarlos puesto que son dise?ados en funci?n a distintos factores, tales como, los objetivos que busca cumplir el gobierno, los recursos con los que cuenta, la organizaci?n de las instituciones p?blicas, la influencia de otros programas sociales, la realidad social y econ?mica del pa?s y de la regi?n. En nuestro pa?s, el programa de alimentaci?n escolar vigente ha sido seriamente cuestionado no solo por la deficiente cadena de inocuidad de los alimentos sino por problemas en su dise?o inicial, los cuales se arrastran hasta el d?a de hoy.
