    Bakalářská práce se zabývá zdokonalováním výukového modelu mikroskopu atomárních sil (AFM). Součástí práce je rešerše stávajících analogii mezi makroskopickými jevy a fenomény spojenými s mikroskopii rastrovací sondou. Dále byla vybrána vhodná analogie, která byla následně implementována do již existujícího modelu mikroskopu atomárních sil. Do modelu byl integrován i jednodeskový počítač, který zajistí ovládání i bez nutnosti připojení externího počítače. Na závěr byly vyhodnoceny vlastnosti použité sondy a analogie mezi modelem a skutečnými mikroskopy atomárních sil.This Bachelor Thesis is focused on development of a model of an atomic force microscope (AFM). First part of the thesis is research of already existing analogies between macroscopic phenomena and phenomena connected to scanning probe microscopy. A suitable analogy was chosen and implemented into an existing AFM model. A single-board computer was integrated into the model to enable control without connecting an external computer. In final chapters, probe behaviour and analogies between the model and real atomic force microscopes are discussed.

    Distance-unbalancedness of graphs

    In this paper we propose and study a new structural invariant for graphs, called distance-unbalanced\-ness, as a measure of how much a graph is (un)balanced in terms of distances. Explicit formulas are presented for several classes of well-known graphs. Distance-unbalancedness of trees is also studied.     The paper describes the characteristics of globalization, as a typical phenomenon of economic development. It describes the definitions of globalization as well as the positive and negative aspects of globalization. Given the many times contradictory assessment of the impact of globalization, a research was conducted on a sample of 69 Slovak companies which were affected by the globalization process in the last five years. The paper studies the impact of globalization on the performance, remuneration, relations between managers and employees, as well as to work – life balance. The study found a statistically significant positive impact on the performance and remuneration and a negative even though statistically insignificant impact on employee relationships. It was found a strong negative correlation between the degree of globalization and the work – life balance
