Aphasia in the Cognitive Disorders Context – Preliminary Study

Purpose: The aim of the article is to analyse cognitive disorder in persons with aphasia of various aetiology pursuant to brain damage, emphasizing the interdisciplinary cooperation between the professionals of speech therapy and psychology.Methodology: Seven persons with stroke related aphasia of different aetiology participated in the research. For data processing, psychological, neurological and speech therapeutic detailed reports were applied.Results: We observed higher incidence of ischaemic stroke than haemorrhagic stroke. Expressive aphasia occurred in 6 of the 7 clients. Attention disorder and thinking disorder occurred in almost all 6 of the clients. Executive functions were impaired in 5.Conclusion: Given our findings, we tend to aphasia therapy in terms of cognitive rehabilitation. We perceive the interdisciplinary cooperation with specialists from the field of psychology as absolutely necessary. The results of psychological examination of persons with aphasia can significantly influence the effectiveness of speech therapy intervention.

Diplomová práce zpracovává problematiku procesního řízení a jsou v ní popsány podnikové procesy v konkrétní vybrané výrobní organizaci, včetně návrhů, které by mohly vést ke zlepšení procesů stávajících. Vysvětleny jsou pojmy s problematikou procesního řízení související, stručně jsou charakterizovány některé vybrané metody, kterými lze podnikové procesy mapovat. Následně jsou zmapovány a popsány stávající procesy ve vybrané části výrobní organizace a uvedeny návrhy, které by mohly vést ke zlepšení stávajících procesů.The first part of this diploma work deals with issues of process management. The second part describes the analysis of processes in a specific selected organization. The presentation of buildings in IFRS and Czech accounting regulations

The diploma thesis deals with reporting of building in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards and after that in accordance with Czech accounting regulations. The part, which is dedicated to IFRS, is focused to the reporting of company buildings according to the standards: IAS 16, IAS 40, IFRS 5 and IAS 36. The content of the next part is dedicated to Czech accounting regulations of company buildings especially to the Czech accounting standard no. 013. There is the comparison of the reporting of company buildings in accordance with IFRS and Czech accounting regulations as well. The last part of the diploma thesis is focused to the analysis of the selected financial statements

Bakalářská práce se zabývá historií knihovny antropologie na přírodovědecké fakultě Univerzity Karlovy. Cílem práce bylo s blížícím se stoletým výročím zachytit i události, které jsou s vývojem knihovny spojeny. První část práce obsahuje popis historie studia přírodních věd a antropologie na univerzitě, historii ústavu antropologie, pod který knihovna spadá, a životopisy osobností antropologie, které jsou s ústavem a knihovnou spojeny. Další část je věnována knihovně samotné, nejdříve její historii, a poté údajům ze současnosti. Důraz je zde kladen na strukturu fondu a popis starých tisků, které se v knihovně nacházejí. Risc factors of Clostridium difficile associated diarrhea

Clostridium difficile Associated Diarrhoea/Disease (CDAD) is an inflammatory disease of the colon, that affects mostly patients after exposure of wide-spectrum antibiotics. It occurs most frequently in patients of age over 65 years and main risc factors of CDAD are long-term hospitalization, polymorbidity, oncologic or system disorders and imunosuppression. The clinical presentation of CDAD is frequent diarrhea, sometimes accompanied by mucus or blood in the stool. We can expect also high levels of C-reactive protein, fever and leucocytosis. The main point of the study is to completely understand to whole bacteria Clostridium difficile and to know risc factors, clinics and therapy of CDAD. The second part is focused on main risc factors got from records of patients with positive CD toxins. The work is built on retrospective search from records of patients with a confirmed CDAD treated in infectious clinic of hospital Na Bulovce during the year 2008. The main importance of the study is to find risc factors of our patients, compare them to general studies and find alternatives, how to avoid rise and spread of this disease

20 years of Czech librarianship on pages of Čtenář (1989-2009)

The subject of the thesis is content analysis of topics from Czech librarianship in 1989-2009, based on articles published in the journal Čtenář. First the journal Čtenář is briefly introduced, the following chapter provides summary of history of Czech librarianship in given period. Third chapter presents the formal side of the journal Čtenář, namely its graphic design and composition of its editorial board. The main part of the thesis is the content analysis in fourth chapter. It presents topics that the journal Čtenář discussed on its pages. Mainly transformation of libraries, new library law, influence of information and communication technologies on operation and services of libraries, and management and marketing are analysed. Fifth chapter contains statistical data related to the content of articles. In result one period of Czech librarianship and the way that the journal Čtenář presented it is evaluated

Description and Analysis of Change Management in Plzensky Prazdroj, a. s.

This thesis deals with the Change Management issue and its use in Plzeňský Prazdroj, a. s. The paper briefly summarizes the basics of Change Management and it also describes types of changes , change process and some of Change Management models, of which the greatest attention is paid to the Kotter's eight step method. The aim of this work is to analyze the functioning of Change Management in Plzeňský Prazdroj from the perspective of the use of the mentioned Kotter's method and the communication of changes to employees. This objective was fulfilled through a questionnaire survey among employees affected by the change and through semi-structured interviews with project team members. The questionnaire and interviews questioned Change Management of two large projects implemented during past years in this company. The answers obtained from the questionnaires and interviews complemented each other . I found that the most neglected part of the change processes of these projects was post--implementation phase, which includes the change integration and anchoring. In the end of the practical part is the summary of key learnings and my suggestions for improvement
