Dolayısıyla, tedarik zincirine hangi tedarikçilerin dahil edileceği stratejik bir karar haline gelmiştir. Bu tezin amacı satınalma karar vericilerine tedarikçi değerlendirme için bir araç sağlamak üzere güncel üretim gerekliliklerini de özel olarak vurgulayarak, ağırlıklı bir puanlama yöntemi geliştirmektir. Ağırlıklandırma yöntemi kriterlere ağırlıklar atayarak ve kriterleri derecelendirerek en iyi tedarikçinin değerlendirilmesini ve seçimini sağlar. Bu tezde geliştirilen ağırlıklandırma modeli 5 tane kriter ve 16 tane alt kriterden oluşmaktadır. Daha sonra bu genel amaçlı model, Lüleburgaz ve Ankara’da iki fabrika ile operasyonlarını sürdüren lider sütlü ürünler üreticisi Danonesa’ya uygulanmıştır. Modelin uygulanabilirliği geliştirme sürecinin başından itibaren dikkate alınmış ve model Danonesa’nın ilgili yöneticilerinin önerileri ile tamamlanmıştır. Model belirli türlerdeki ambalaj tedarikçilerine uygulanmıştır. Plastik kap ve kapak tedarikçileri ile alüminyum folyo tedarikçileri araştırmaya dahil edilmiştir. Hangi kriterlerin modele dahil edileceğine, literatür araştırmasının neticesinde veya Danonesa’nın satınalma yetkililerinin önerileri ile karar verilmiştir. Çalışmanın sonunda seçilen malzeme grupları için tedarikçilerin performanslarının ölçümü ile ulaşılan sonuçlar gösterilmiştir.In the new global business environment, companies have increased their level of out-sourcing and they are relying more heavily on their supply chain as a source of their competitive advantage. Thus, determining which suppliers to include in the supply chain has become a strategic consideration. The aim of this thesis is to design a weighting point method to provide the purchasing decision makers a tool for evaluating suppliers with a special emphasis on current manufacturing challenges. The weighting model provides evaluating and selecting the best supplier by assigning weights to the criteria and rating the criteria. The weighting model developed in this thesis is consisted of 5 criteria and 16 subcriteria. The general-purpose model is then applied to the leading dairy products manufacturer Danonesa, which operates with two plants at Lüleburgaz and Ankara. The applicability of the model is taken into consideration from the beginning of the development process and the model is finalized with the suggestions of the related managers of Danonesa. The model is applied to the suppliers of certain types of packaging materials. Plastic container and cover suppliers and aluminium foil suppliers are included in the research. Which criteria to include in the model is decided either as a result of the literature search or by the suggestions of the authorized purchasing personnel of Danonesa.The results obtained by measuring the performance of the suppliers for the selected material groups are represented at the end of the study.Yüksek LisansM.Sc

    The Impact of Financial Inclusion on Economic Growth and Income Inequality

    Financial inclusion is defined as the access of households and firms to beneficial and reasonably priced financial products and services which are in line with their necessities. These could be financial transactions, transfers, savings, and loans. After narrowing down the definition, it then measures financial inclusion by using indexation technique. A major contribution of this study is the development of a measure of financial inclusion via formation of three indices, namely financial access index, firm-level and household-level financial usage indices. These three indices capture different aspects of financial inclusion, which is comprised of access to financial services by both households and firms in addition to effective use of these services. Based on Global Findex database and the Enterprise Survey database collected by the World Bank, Financial Access database collected by the International Monetary Fund the study introduces measures of household-level and firm-level inclusion, with placing Europe and Central Asia in a historical and cross-country perspective. By using Panel and Ordinary Least Squares regression analysis, it analyzes the impact of financial inclusion on two important macroeconomic variables, namely growth and inequality. Moreover, it focuses particularly on the ECA region and analyzes the dynamics in the region. The study aims at documenting the status of financial inclusion in ECA, while shedding light on the impact of financial inclusion on growth and inequality. It concludes that, in line with the contemporary literature, financial inclusion enhances growth and reduces inequality with better access to resources to finance both consumption and investment. According to the article’s findings, the positive impact of financial inclusion on growth is significant in the ECA region.     Induced current magnetic resonance-electrical impedance tomography

    Magnetic resonance-electrical impedance tomography (MR-EIT) is a conductivity imaging method based on injecting currents into the object. In this study, a new MR-EIT method, whereby currents are induced inside the object by using external coils, is proposed. This new method is called induced current magnetic resonance-electrical impedance tomography. In induced current MR-EIT surface electrodes are not used and thereby artifacts due to electrodes are eliminated. The reconstruction algorithm is based on the measurement of only one component of the secondary magnetic flux density. The algorithm is an iterative one, is 3D and is based on the solution of a linear matrix equation at each iteration. For the measurement of secondary magnetic flux density, a pulse sequence to be used in the MRI system is proposed. Numerical simulations are performed to test the algorithm for both noise-free and noisy cases. The singular value behavior of the matrix is monitored and it is observed that at least two current induction profiles improve the images significantly. It is shown that induced current MR-EIT can be used to reconstruct absolute conductivity images without the need for any additional peripheral voltage measurement. © 2005 IOP Publishing Ltd

The study mainly investigates the external factors rather than the organizational and pre-conditional ones. Therefore, the effect of the government, the financial sector, the infrastructure, the trade promoting organizations, the consumers and the human capital are taken into consideration within a survey, conducted among a sample population of Turkish SMEs. The purpose of the survey is to expose the possible effects of these factors by obtaining the opinions of the SME management staffs

    Digital Literacy and Views of the COVID-19 Pandemic of Students Who Prepared for Musical Aptitude Tests during the Pandemic

    This study was carried out with the aim of determining the opinions and digital literacy status of the students who are preparing for the music talent exams of the universities during the COVID-19 process. The research is in the survey model, which is one of the quantitative research methods and is limited to 300 students who took the music department and department aptitude exams of 21 different universities. The type of high school from which the relevant students graduated, the universities they applied to for special talent exams, their previous undergraduate education, their status of researching distance education opportunities, and digital literacy levels of the universities they applied for special talent exams were included in the scope of the study. Within the scope of the problem situation of the research, the effects of the duration of the pandemic on the ear training, instrument training, voice training, and psychological state of the students were investigated. According to the data obtained from the interview form applied to the students, the pandemic process gave the students extra time for ear training, instrument training, and voice training, but this extra time could not be properly evaluated because there was no educator guidance. It was concluded that students felt inadequate about digital literacy

    Bu araştırma, müzik eğitimi kurumlarındaki klarnet eğitimcilerinin görüşlerine dayanarak klarnet eğitiminin sorunlarını saptamak ve bu sorunların nasıl giderileceği konusunda çözümler üretmek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Araştırmada nitel veriler kaynak tarama yöntemiyle, nicel veriler ise müzik eğitimi kurumlarındaki klarnet eğitimcilerine anket uygulaması yoluyla elde edilmiştir. Anket, klarnet eğitim sürecinde karşılaşılan sorunların önemine, görülme sıklıklarına ve klarnet eğitimcilerinin çözüm önerilerine yönelik sorulardan oluşturulmuştur. Anketlerden elde edilen veriler istatistiksel yöntemlerle değerlendirilerek yorumlanmıştır. Araştırmanın sonucunda müzik eğitimi kurumlarındaki klarnet eğitimcilerinin klarnet eğitimi sürecinde karşılaştıkları fiziksel hazır bulunuşluklar, müziksel hazır bulunuşluklar, yöntemsel ve tekniksel, sosyo-kültürel ve ekonomik sorunlar belirlenmiş ve bu sorunlara ilişkin çözüm önerileri sunulmuştur.The present research was conducted based on the ideas of clarinet teachers at music teacher training schools regarding the problem in clarinet instruction and possible solutions for such issues. In this research, qualitative data was collected via extensive literature rewiew, and quantitative data was gathered based on the survey that was sent to the clarinet instructors at music teachers training schools. The question in the survey were developed based on the problems that clarinet instructors face with how often they come across these issues, and possible solutions for existing problems that they suggested. The problems and possible solutions for these issues were determined at the end of the study. Ancak bu konudaki yasal yükümlülükler, hukukumuzda genel olarak yeterli yaptırıma tabi kılınmadığından, etkin şekilde uygulanabilirliği söz konusu değildir. Different methods such as use of social media has spread as a new way of recruitment, which is the beginning of the relationship between an employee and an employer. No matter what method is used, parties are required to obey some rules during recruitment and establishment of the employment contracts. Especially the employer's freedom of establishing employment contract is limited with social thougths. However, legal obligations in this respects have very limited enforceability by reason of weak sanctions in Turkish Law. Therefore, those rules have to be amended. In order to be effective, legislation process should involve the social partners and academy and it should also be more transparent and have a cooperative spirit
