    Background: racture of the ulna radius is the breaking of the radius and ulna bone connections caused by an injury to the forearm, both direct and indirect trauma. Objectives : to know the benefits of infra red and exercise therapy on post-ORIF fracture of the ulna radius. Results : after 6 therapy using infra red and therapy therapy for pain reduction using VRS (Verbal Descriptive Scale) silent pain in T1 from 3 moderate pain in T6 to 2 mild pain, motion pain in T1 from 5 pain very heavy on T6 to 3 moderate pain, Tenderness in T1 from 4 severe pain in T6 to 2 mild pain. Increased rainge of motion (ROM) on wrist of T1 with result S 20˚-0˚-15˚ to T6 with result S 40˚-0˚-40˚, at elbow at flexi motion and extension of T1 with result S 0˚ -0˚-100˚ to T6 with the result S 0˚-0˚-130˚, on the pronation and supination movement of T1 with the result S 0˚-0˚-0˚ to T6 with the result S 15˚-0˚-15 ˚. Increased functional activity of patients using Wrist Hand Disability Index (WHDI) on T1 with 62% 2 degree of disability on all aspects of functional ability to T6 with 40% degree of moderate disability. Conclution : Infra red and exercise therapy can reduce pain, rainge of motion (ROM), and increase functional activity in patients

    fracture is the loss of connection of a bone which is becaused trauma of emphasis. Fracture humeri 1/3 distal is a fracture found in the lower end of bone humeri. In this case, it is installation method of internal fixation that is plate and screw and it is resulted existence of the problematic physiotherapy tenderness, motion pain, limited scope of motion in the joint and decreased fungtional activity. Physiotherapy modalities can use Infra Red, active motion exercises and passive motion exercises. To know the existence of pain with VAS, limitation of joint with goneometers, functional activity ability with the WHDI index. To know the benefits of physiotherapy management with infra red modalities, active motion exercise, passive motion exercise on POST Open Reduction Internal Fixation fracture humeri 1/3 distal dextra against : pain reduction, increased scope of joint motion, increased fungtional activity. From the physiotherapy action that have been done with infra red modality, active motion exercise and passive motion exercise proved to reduce pain, increase the scope of joint motion and have been 2 able to increase the ability of functional activity.     Background: Hernia Nucleus Pulposus is a disease in which a part of the nucleus made of gel-shaped material in the spinal cord exits the annulus or the part that protects it so that pressure or narrowing of the spinal nerve occurs. Objective: To determine the implementation of physiotherapy in terms of reducing pain, increasing muscle strength, reducing pain, increasing the scope of joint motion, and increasing functional activity with a micro wave diathermy modality, TENS, and McKenzie's exercise therapy. Results: After doing therapy for 4 times, the results of the assessment increased the strength of the flexor and extensor muscles T0: 3 to T4: 4, reducing pain, in silent pain 1 tenderness: 3 motion pain: 4. Then after being given intervention for 4 times the therapy. The results obtained at T1 to T4 were a decrease in pain intensity with VDS examination namely silent pain: 0 tenderness: 2 motion pain: 2. results of the examination of the range of motion of the joints with meterline namely trunk flexion 7 cm, trunk extension 3 cm, lateral flexion dextra 3 cm, lateral flexion 20 cm. Then given McKenzie Exercise intervention 3 times therapy. The results obtained at T1 to T4 were an increase in the range of joint motion in trunk flexion, trunk extension, lateral flexion and lateral flexion to 8 cm trunk flexion, 5 cm trunk extension, lateral flexion 4 cm, lateral flexion 6 cm. Conclusion: Micro wave diathermy, TENS, and McKenzie's exercise therapy can overcome the disorders that exist hernia nucleus pulposus

    Background: Bell's palsy is a unilateral facial nerve that rapidly develops a weakness or paralysis whose cause is unknown. Facial palsy that occurs in bell's palsy can lead to significant temporary oral incompetence and an inability to close the eyelids, causing potential eye injury. Objective: To know the implementation of physiotherapy in the case of bell's palsy in improving muscle strength, reduce pain, and improve facial functional ability by using infra red modality, elctrical stimulation, mas sage, and mirror exersice. Result: after getting therapy 6 times with result of assessment of muscle strength m. T0: 1 forntalis becomes T6: 3, m. corrugator supercili T0: 5 to T6: 5, m. orbicularis oculi T0: 3 being T6: 3, m. nasalis T0: 0 to T6: 1, m. zygomaticus T0: 0 to T6: 3, m. buccinator T0: 0 to T6: 3, decreased pain in silent pain T0: 2 ie pain is very mild to T6: 1 ie no pain, tenderness T0: 4 ie pain not so severe to T6: 1 ie no pain, motion pain T0 : 3 ie mild pain to T6: 1 ie painless, increased facial functional ability Resting T0: 30% to T6: 70%, frowning T0: 30% to T6: 70%, closing eyes T0: 70% to T6: 70 %, smile T0: 0% to T6: 70%, whistling T0: 0% to T6: 30%. Conclusion: infra red, electrical stimulation, massage, and mirror exersice can overcome the disruption in bell's pasly case

    EFFECT OF BABY MASSAGE IN BABY AGE 3-5 MONTHS ON NIGHT SLEEP QUALITY (CASE STUDY IN POSYANDU KEMUNING PREMULUNG SONDAKAN) Background: When a baby is born, babies usually sleep for 16-20 hours a day. When they are 1 month old babies sleep more nights than daytime. Babies will sleep with a duration of 14-16 hours a day with the division of 8-9 hours for night sleep and 6-7 hours for naps. Poor sleep quality can result in impaired physiological and psychological balance. Baby massage is able to counteract the negative effects of stress and sleep disorders by providing kinesthetic tactile stimulation and increasing parasympathetic (vagal) activity, which can lead to stress reduction and calm the baby. Objective: To determine the effect of baby massage to improve the quality of night sleep on infants aged 3-5 months. Method: This type of research is quasy experimental with pre and post test group two design. The subjects of this study were 30 babies in the Posulung of the Kemuning Kemulung Sondakan. Divided into treatment groups that were given baby massage and control groups that were not given baby massage carried out for 14 days in a row treatment. Results: The results of this study were that giving baby massage in the treatment group was obtained 0.001 and the control group that was not given baby massage was 0.206. Mann Whitney statistical test for different effects obtained p results 0.040 where p <0.05 then there is a difference in effect between the treatment group with the control group. Conclusion: There is an effect of giving baby massage in improving the quality of night sleep in infants 3-5 months. There was a different effect between baby massage in the treatment group and the control group who were not given baby massage in improving the quality of sleep for infants 3-5 months

    Background: Asthma is a heterogeneous disease characterized by inflammation occurring with traits similar to those of respiratory history such as wheezing, shortness of breath, chest contents, and a cough that causes the disorder. Purpose: To know the benefits of breathing control and diaphragmatic breathing in reducing shortness of breath in people with asthma as well as to Know the benefits of static bicycle in improving functional ability in asthmatics. Result: After 6 weeks of therapy, there was a decrease in the degree of shortness of breath, where the assessment of shortness of breath on T5 and T6 which previously had a value of 3 to the value 1, while the evaluation using Six-Minutes Walking Test increased, where in the first meeting get 26 , 4 which belong to the POOR category and at the last meeting get the value of 27.2 which belongs to FAIR category. Fractures in 1/3 distal often occur due to trauma due to accidents while doing activities at home. For some people it will be hampered for their daily activities. In this case the modalities given are Infra Red and assisted active exercise. To determine the management of physiotherapy in reducing pain and increasing the scope of joint motion in patients with a 1/3 distal radial fracture. After 4 sessions of Physiotherapy, the result was a decrease in tenderness T0: 2,3 to T4: 1,3 and motion pain T0: 5,8 to be T4: 4,1. Increased Active LGS T0: S: 25-0-30 F: 5-0-10 becomes T4: S: 35-0-40 F: 10 - 0- 15 and Passive LGS T0: S: 50-0-60 F: 20-0-30 to T4: S: 50-0-60 F: 20-0-30. It can be concluded that given modalities with exercise therapy and a little Infra Red can help reduce pain and increase Joint Scope

    Balance is the ability to maintain and stabilize body position. the ability to maintain body position will decrease with age. to maintain the quality of life of the elderly a balance exercise is needed. there are various types of exercises that can be applied to the elderly, such as the balance strategy exercise and gaze stability exercise.The research objective to find out the differences in the effect of training between the balance strategy exercise and gaze stability exercise on balance in the elderly. The type of research conducted was experimental with a quasi experimental approach with pre and post test research design by comparing 2 groups. Respondents from this study were 20 people divided into two groups, group I a number of 10 people were given the balance strategy exercise and group II a number of 10 people were treated with gaze stability exercise. Measurement of balance in the elderly using Berg Balance Scale. The result using paired sample t-test in group I p = 0,000 (p <0.05) and group II p = 0.001 (p <0.05), this indicates that both treatments were given in group I and II has an influence on increasing balance in the elderly. While the results of the independent sample t-test in the treatment group p = 0302 (p <0.05), this shows that the treatment carried out in groups I and II did not have a difference in effect on increasing balance in the elderly. The conclusion of this study is that there is an effect of balance strategy exercise and gaze stability exercise in each group, but there is no significant difference in effect on balance training exercises and stability exercise views on improving balance in the elderly
