    Micro and Small Enterprises and the Tourism Sector are important drivers of local economic recovery, as happened in Patuk Sub-District, Gunungkidul Regency, Yogyakarta. The purpose of this study is to identify the advantages and potential multiplier effects of economic activities from micro and small Enterprises in tourist areas. Quantitative approaches were used in this investigation, including Location Qoutient analytic tools and an Economic Base Model. Businesses that encourage tourism in Patuk Subdistrict are micro and small businesses, processed food and service sectors. While to encourage labor absorption, the most superior sectors are micro and small businesses in the processed food, trade and services sectors. This study shows that there is a spatial pattern for micro and small businesses in the Tourism Village of Patuk Sub-District. The spatial pattern found from this research is micro and small enterprises that excel in employment, namely the processed food sector, trade, and services. Meanwhile, micro and small enterprises that excel in terms of number of businesses are the processed food and service sector. Both patterns of finding the spatial pattern are relevant to be used as a basis for stakeholders to develop sectoral businesses through the types of regional superior businesses. Usaha Mikro dan Kecil dan Sektor Pariwisata merupakan sektor kunci pemulihan ekonomi lokal, seperti yang terjadi di Kecamatan Patuk, Kabupaten Gunungkidul, Yogyakarta. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengidentifikasi keunggulan dan potensi efek pengganda kegiatan ekonomi dari usaha mikro dan kecil di kawasan wisata. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan alat analisis Location Qoutient dan Economic Base Model. Usaha yang mendorong pariwisata di Kecamatan Patuk adalah usaha mikro dan kecil, sektor makanan olahan dan jasa. Sedangkan utnuk mendorong penyerapan tenaga kerja, sektor yang paling unggul adalah usaha mikro dan kecil di sektor makanan olahan, perdagangan dan jasa. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pola keruangan untuk usaha mikro dan kecil di Desa Wisata Kecamatan Patuk. Pola keruangan yang ditemukan dari penelitian ini adalah usaha mikro kecil yang unggul dalam penyerapan tenaga kerja yaitu sektor makanan olahan, perdagangan, dan jasa. Sedangkan, usaha mikro kecil yang unggul dari sisi jumlah usaha adalah sektor makanan olahan dan jasa. Kedua pola temuan pola keruangan tersebut relevan untuk digunakan sebagai dasar pemangku kepentingan untuk melakukan pengembangan usaha sectoral melalui jenis usaha unggulan daerah

    Blood type examination of Cigentur community as efforts to realize community care for health

    Counseling and early examination of blood type to the community at Cigentur village has not been done before. Blood transfusion from incompatible types can cause immunological transfusion reactions and clinical aspects such as the incompatibility of the blood type systems ABO. The community engagement method consists of direct information to the community by visiting every communities house (door to door). Besides, the engagement was also carried out quietly, namely, the residents came to the post directly located at the Wiswa Anak Yatim Piatu, At-Taqwa. After conducting a health test, people who provide personal information from the results of their blood tests. In addition to identifying blood types, this activity provides more knowledge about the health of each that is related to the utilization that has been identified by the group. The results of this activity can be in the form of initial information to determine the policies of each community in carrying out social activities such as blood transfusion. The types of rhesus tests from the communityof Cigentur must be done for information about blood type identification are complete

    The 3rd International Conference on University-Community Engagement 2018 is administered by Ministry of Religious Affairs in cooperation with UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang as this year’s host institution. This conference may provide more opportunities not only related to the submissions of academic papers or articles, but also related to various activities in creating partnership involving the elements of academicians, researchers, social activists, policy makers, CSR mangers and others. ICONUCE conference includes numbers of advanced activities: 1) Community Service Expo which is a place to promote the community service activities conducted by LP2M/P3M PTKIN throughout Indonesia. Various facilitates are provided by the committee including the exhibition stands, 2) Community Service Clinic which is fully supported by KOMPAK, a non-profit organization focusing on mentoring field. The realization of this clinic thanks to Universitas Membangun Desa (Universities in developing the villages). The participants are heads of LP2M/P3M, 3) Community Service Journal Clinic which aims at strengthening and developing the ability to write articles and then submit them to various reputable journals. The materials ICONUCE conference is a significant step, which will, in the long run, contribute towards social changes.     Research Participatory Action On Management Of Child Friendly Mosque In North Sumatera

    The issue of child-friendly mosques is crucial when the phenomenon of the problem of violence against children emerges. Violence against children not only occurs in the household, school, but also various places, in cities, and villages, even in the mosques. The concept program of child-friendly mosque capacity building for BKM in Perumnas Simalingkar Village, Pancurbatu sub-district, carried out with Participatory Action Research approach. The mentoring strategies used in this study are three strategies, are, raising awareness, building commitment and capacity as well as participating groups and stakeholders. The findings of this study indicate that the critical thing to note in the problem identification process is the tendency to look at the socio-religious issues that exist at the site. From extracting the information facilitated by the Research Team, almost all participants directed the problem that was not directly related to the management of child-friendly mosques. In the activity of extracting opinions on actions and important steps carried out in the framework of managing child-friendly mosques in Simalingkar Housing, there seems to be a strong tendency to answer religious issues which emphasize increasing education and spiritual knowledge among the community, especially children and adolescent

    Inclusive education was students with special needs in general school program with general students received same materials. The study aims to find out how did the availability of teaching and learning English in inclusive senior high schools at SMAN 11 Pekanbaru. This study had three instruments. They were observation, questionnaires, and interview. Observation used to observed English subject teacher while teaching using instructional media, questionnaires were addressed to the respondents to get data about schools existing infrastructure and instructional media with special needs, and the interview was conducted to gain further information from special guidance counselors about schools existing infrastructure. The observation result showed that, learning competencies for learner common was low; learning competencies for special learner was average; Special tutor was low; and cooperate with school/ institution was low. It can concluded that facilities in teaching and learning English of Inclusive Schools was very low. School existing infrastructure was low; and instructional media with special needs was average. It concluded that facilities of teaching and learning English at Inclusive Schools was low. Curriculum was not applied well. Management of school was low; Educational process was low; development of school was low. It can concluded that monitoring and evaluation in teaching and learning English of Inclusive Schools was low

    Since the establishment of ASEAN (Association of Southeast Asian Nations) as a regional organization in 1967, it has played a significant role most importantly related to regional affairs and has also given notable contribution to the international arena. Undisputedly, ASEAN has been successfully fostering good relations among its members since its foundation. After completing the first period of its vision of an integrated regional community (ASEAN Community 2015), ASEAN is now preparing for the launch of ASEAN Community Vision 2025, supported by ASEAN Connectivity 2025. As a study center focusing primarily and solely on ASEAN, in collaboration with the Directorate General of ASEAN Cooperation, Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Center of ASEAN Studies Andalas University, will be hosting the International Conference on ASEAN (IC-ASEAN) as a platform to evaluate past actions, to discuss present issues, and to provide an outlook for the future of ASEAN. Aims and Scope The International Conference on ASEAN (IC-ASEAN) is a multidisciplinary conference which covers a broad range of area. The sub theme will be divided into two large categories focusing on ASEAN Community 2015 and 2025 also ASEAN Connectivity 2025.
