ΡΠΎΠΊΠΎΠ².There was carried out an investigation of perspective technologies of sewage purification from food industry. It was determined that the effective technology of such sewage purification can be the oxidation with the help of natrium hypocloride. The physical and chemical conditions of running such process were also investigated. The optimal regimes were determined. The fundamental technological scheme of the process of sewage purification form Beregivlkyi fruit and vegetable plant was developed
Sewage purification and disposal
The subject of the disposal and the purification
of sewage is one that has of late
years received the clo?e attention of the
greatest scientists. More especiallj- is
this the case in the United Kingdom. It
will be my endeavour this evening to describe
a few of the various methods adopted
for purifying the sewage, and the agencies
whereby this state is brought about,
together with various methods of disposal
in use in various parts of the worlci. For
much of the information contained in this
paper (for which I claim no originality)
1 am indebted to the work by Mr. Dibdin
on the purification of sewage and water. A
very great deal of useful matter was also
obtained from a recent "'Report on the
Latest Methods in use in the United Kingdom
and elsewhere/' by Mr. J, Davis, M.

Sewage water waste recycling in pulp and paper industry
For the waste recycling in the process of sewage purification in pulp and paper industry, it is proposed to use the method of worm composting. This method provides both economic and environmental benefits.ΠΠ»Ρ ΠΏΠ΅ΡΠ΅ΡΠ°Π±ΠΎΡΠΊΠΈ ΠΎΡΠ°Π΄ΠΊΠΎΠ², ΠΎΠ±ΡΠ°Π·ΡΡΡΠΈΡ

Updating of sewage - purification facilities of electroplating enterprises with counterflow ion-exchange filters
The paper focuses on work of electroplating sewage-purification facilities of mechanical engineering production; drawbacks caused by specific features of physical and chemical processes of coagulation and technological malfunctions have been revealed. Additional equipment - ion-exchanging filters have been selected on the basis of designed methods, they make it possible for enterprises of mechanical engineering to implement conversion to water rotation systems

Prior to releasing waste from consumer goods and industrial chemicals into sewage, it is imperative to have their behaviour in sewage purification plants tested in adequate installations. EMPA specialists conduct such analyses, allowing to gather reliable data about the sewage compatibility
of this type of product waste. The present study describes efficient test procedures in this range and EMPA experienced assessment criteria
MATERIAL BALANCE IN SEWAGE TREATMENT
The most important characteristics of sewage purification is: cell retention time (CRT),
sludge loading, ratio of recirculation or rather excess sludge removal. Of course, these parameters
are in close connection with each other. To examine these connections, material balance
seems to be the most suitable for either the aeration tank or for the aeration tank and sedimentation
basin together. These equations are suitable to examine the method of sludge load, the
most basic possibility of regulation. the ratio of recirculation and also the excess sludge can be
determined
The Brookside Farm Wetland Ecosystem Treatment (WET) System: A Low-Energy Methodology for Sewage Purification, Biomass Production (Yield), Flood Resilience and Biodiversity Enhancement
Wastewater from domestic developments, farms and agro-industrial processing can be sources of pollution in the environment; current wastewater management methods are usually machine-based, and thus energy consuming. When Permaculture Principles are used in the creation of water purification and harvesting systems, there can be multiple environmental and economic benefits. In the context of energy descent, it may be considered desirable to treat wastewater using minimal energy. The constructed wetland design presented here is a low-entropy system in which wastewater is harvested and transformed into lush and productive wetland, eliminating the requirement for non-renewable energy in water purification, and also maximising benefits: biodiversity, flood resilience and yield. In permaculture design, the high concentrations of nitrogen and phosphorous compounds in sewage are viewed as valuable nutrients, resources to be harvested by a constructed wetland ecosystem and converted into useful yield. Similarly, rainwater runoff is not viewed as a problem which can cause flooding, but as a potential resource to be harvested to provide a yield. This paper presents a case study, with both water quality and productivity data, from Brookside Farm UK, where the use of Permaculture Design Principles has created a combined wastewater management and purification system, accepting all site water
MONITORING OF WASTEWATER PURIFICATION PROCESS
There were conducted the researches to identify new correlation between traditional controlling process indicators of cleaning stock water from phosphates and concentration of phosphates in purified water that can be used for the development of new techniques.
Analytical laboratory data of the current purification station were carried out with the use of the Pearson correlation coefficient to detect a connection between concentration of phosphates in the purified water and four kinds of hydrobiological data using Microsoft Excel a computer program with functions Corel batch analysis.
The most informative for monitoring of purification from the phosphates is the indicator of the number of types of hydrobionts. Change of concentration of phosphates goes in antiphase to the amount of types of hydrobionts. Therefore, for the convenience of the users there was completed the visualization of the existing trend using the introduced by the authors index-modified number of hydrobionts.
There was presented an algorithm monitoring the process of sewage purification from phosphates, which requires the creation of a database and preliminary plotting of dependence of phosphates Sf concentration on the number of hydrobionts NG. The further displaying of laboratory data indicator NG on the schedule allows to predict the expected concentration of phosphates Sf in purified sewage and in case of poor forecast to carry out operational actions. The survey is based on the basis of a new methodology, which was transferred for the introduction to "Chernihivodokanal" (Chernihiv, Ukraine
SMALL SEWAGE TREATMENT WORKS AND THE WATER POLLUTION CONTROL
In this study possibilities of small sewage water treatment and disposal in regions only
partially provided with spwerages are discussed from the point of view of water pollution con-
trol. It emphasises the qualitative and quantitative effects of small sewage treatment works of
the hydrologic cycles of settelements (Figs 1 and 2).
It im-estigates the possibilities of waste water disposal in regions not provided with
sewarage and it evaluates the partial and total storage and transport of waste water
- discharge it into soil by infiltration, and
- discharge it into streams as possible solutions in Hungary.
It descrihes the possible solutions of individual sewage treatment and points out the
effect of different methods of treatment on the quality of water.
Finally it advises on the most important tasks. which are the definition of the concept
of sewerage in a more differentiated manner. the establishing of a limit valne for sewerage and
the determination of the operational conditions of small, individual sewage treatment satisfying
the requirements for the water pollution control
