Analysis of Business Dictionary and Solution Proposal in Home Credit International

Cílem práce je zhodnotit aktuální řešení Business slovníku ve firmě Home Credit International a.s., rozhodnout o možnostech jeho vylepšení a porovnat jej s externím softwarem firmy Semanta s.r.o. Tato práce bude také sloužit jako podklad ke konečnému rozhodnutí, zda se HCI vyplatí nákup hotového produktu, nebo bude lepší, si aplikaci vyvinout sama.The main aim of this bachelor thesis is to evaluate the current solution of Business Dictionary in Home Credit International Corporation and to decide its possible improvements and compare it with product of external software company Semanta Ltd. This work will also serve as the basis for a final decision of HCI whether it is worth buying an external product or to develop the app itself.

Drivers of Knowledge Base Adoption, Analysis of Czech Corporate Environment

Tato diplomová práce analyzuje proces přijetí znalostní báze v podnikatelském prostředí. Použitím dat z dvou systémů pro znalostní management provozovaných společností Semanta, s.r.o. jsme studovali každodenní interakce mezi zaměstnanci jako uživateli systému a identifikovali jsme důležité faktory působící na přijetí tohoto systému. Za prvé jsme v práci studovali, jak společná aktivita pracovníků ovlivňuje tvorbu znalosti v systému. Našli jsme významný a pozitivní vliv tohoto faktoru na celkovou tvorbu znalosti, a tedy i na přijetí systému znalostního managementu jako takového. Za druhé jsme zkoumali, jak nově definovaný koncept "gamifikace" může podpořit zvýšení tvorby znalosti. Výsledky regrese ukázaly, že používání "gamifikovaných" nástrojů, jakým je například stránka "Hall of Fame", má významný vliv na proces přijetí znalostní báze. Za třetí jsme studovali, jak uživatelé kontinuálně hledají znalost v systému a jaký účinek na přijetí znalostní báze má požadování chybějící informace a následné získávání těchto odpovědí. Ukázali jsme, že rychlejší odpovědi a větší počet expertů, kteří se otázkami zabývají, pozitivně působí na přijetí. A konečně studie také prokázala, že velikost a charakter společnosti, která systém znalostního managementu zavádí, nemá vliv na faktory přijetí. Tato diplomová práce...This thesis analyses the process of knowledge-base adoption in the enterprise environment. Using data from two knowledge-management systems operated by the company, Semanta, s.r.o. we studied the day-to-day interactions of employees using the system and identified the important drivers of system adoption. We began by studying the effect of co-workers' collaborative activities on knowledge creation within the system. It was found that they had a positive and significant impact upon overall knowledge creation and thus on adoption. Secondly, we explored how the newly defined concept of gamification could help determine and encourage an increase in knowledge creation. The use of gamification tools, such as the "Hall of Fame" page, turned out to have significant influence in the adoption process. Thirdly, we examined how users continually seek knowledge within the system and how asking for missing information and being supplied with answers has an impact on adoption rates. It was shown that the quicker the responses and the more experts dealing with requests the greater the impact on knowledge base adoption. Finally, we showed that the size and character of the company deploying the knowledge management system does not influence the adoption drivers. PENERAPAN TEKNOLOGI LAMPU BERTENAGA SURYA DI GADING KASRI SEBAGAI PILOT PROJECT KAMPUNG MANDIRI ENERGI

Fasilitaspenerangan jalan umum srea di Kelurahan Gading Kasri, Kec.Klojen, Kota Malang belum cukup memadai. Kemungkinan munculnya bahaya pencurian dan kejahatan lainnya di malam hari akan semakin besar. Oleh karena itu, Tim pengabdian masyarakatUniversitas Negeri Malang (UM)memberikan solusi tepat guna berupa lampu jalan tenaga surya. Teknologi tepat guna (TTG) ini menggunakan batere sebagai penyimpan energi listrik keluaran panel surya untuk menyalakan lampu LED dimalam hari. Hasil survei lokasi menunjukkan ada 10 titik dark spot di lokasi mitra yang perlu dipasang TTG lampu jalan tenaga surya. Pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat di Gading Kasri dilakukan dengan metode survei-implementatif dalam beberapa tahapan, yaitu: observasi, perencanaan, implementasi, pelatihan dan pendampingan, serta evaluasi. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat inidiselesaikan dalam kurun waktu 3 bulan.Hasil kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat di Gading kasri ini mendapat respon positif dari masyarakat. TTG lampu jalan bertenaga surya mampu menerangi Kawasan gelap (dark spot) di wilayah tersebut dengan optimal.Indeks kepuasan masyarakat mencapai 88%

Generalizing email messages digests

International audienceAn email digest is a message that results from the combination of other messages. Mailing list management systems implement digests to let subscribers reduce their email messages frequency. In this paper we address the issue of generalizing this digest technique for any message (i.e. not only issued from mailing lists). By generalizing we mean creating new message combinations while 1) keeping an email centric approach, and 2) generating a compact visualization to assist a user task. We implemented a preliminary prototype as a webmail and we will describe a series of digests providing users multiple visualizations in the context of a meeting planning by email
