    Evaluation of innovative technology market potential on the basis of technology audit

    Enterprise innovation activity supposes coordinated technical and business processes of decision-making and its performance required for successful transformation of new product or service from concept to market. The purpose of this study is to develop valuation methods of innovative technology market potential and prospects of their introduction into the production enterprise activity. In order to achieve this goal, we used brand new evaluation tool, this is technology audit conception, application of which increased significantly the accuracy and reliability of technology market potential evaluation. Clarification of terminological essence of technological audit allowed the authors to discover the content of technology audit components required for the market research and thereupon to develop evaluation mechanism for innovative technology market potential using technology audit. This mechanism is built on structure evaluation table of technology market potential level detection as an object of commercialization. To ensure the efficiency of practical effect of the mechanism proposed, the authors systematized and completed methods of functional analysis and scanning of market environment for the purpose of qualitative comprehensive evaluation and innovative technology market potential forecasting. Introduction of the proposed evaluation method for technology market potential will result in the improvement of efficiency of enterprise innovation activity due to more rational distribution of available resources and immediate financing of developments with greater market potential

    Performance evaluation of after-sales service partners in the power tools industry

    After-sales service (ASS) is a product support activity provided to customers; after-sales service that focuses on quality can create a sustainable competitive advantage. This study aims to the ASS performance, analyze the causes of performance constraints that occur in ASS and recommendations for improving the performance of ASS conceptually. Service partner performance achievement can be assessed from four categories, i.e. very good, good, bad, and poor, based on the actual level of performance compared to performance targets. The sample of this research is 12 ASS partners in the electrical equipment industry in West Java and Jakarta. Factors causing failure were analyzed descriptively using the fault tree analysis (FTA) method, which involved experts in focus group discussions (FGD). Based on the evaluation, 25% of partners were rated good, 50% poor, and 25% very poor. Partner performance achievement is carried out on 22 performance indicators, of which 20 performance indicators have not achieved a good rating. These indicators relate to brand issues, warranty, training, parts control and stock management, pricing, and service systems, including service centers and service facilities. The proposed concept that becomes a recommendation for improving the performance of power tools ASS is improving the operating system and the selection of partners in the service center and service dealer categories with industrial customer segmentation

    Every government either central or regional is often required to always innovate, especially in the activities of qualified public servants. One of them is innovation whose activities are spread across each region in the city of Bandung is the Bandung Champion Assessment Information System (SIP), which is a program built to assess the performance results of each camat and lurah in public service, the implementation of evaluation is measured based on the results of the activity report uploaded to the SIP Bandung Champion website, camat and lurah evaluation activities have several stages to get the final results of the assessment. The purpose of this research is to analyze and describe the Evaluation of The Bandung Champion Assessment Information System (SIP) Program in the Governance Section of the Bandung City Regional Secretariat to know. The research method used is qualitative with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques are used with literature studies, observations, documents and interviews. To measure the evaluation of SIP program Bandung Champion researchers use the Program Evaluation Theory which has indicators Of Evaluation Context, Evaluation Input, Evaluation Process, Product Evaluation (CIPP). This research, that the evaluation of the Bandung Champion SIP Program has problems in performance has not been maximal, citizen assessment activities are not realized

    The application of simulation to product service systems:A review (WIP)

    One innovative strategy among product manufacturers is to compete through the delivery of services to their clients. The range of advanced services provided by these manufacturers are underpinned by a system known as product-service systems (PSS). Based on a literature review, a description of a PSS with its dynamic behaviour is provided. Three PSS modelling and simulation methods (system dynamics, discrete event simulation and agent based simulation) and the nature of their application in the context of PSS are identified and discussed. Results indicate DES as the mostly used simulation approach accounting for over 50% papers reviewed due to its ability to model the dynamic behaviour of PSS over time. Previous and current research have focused on the design and in-service phase of PSS lifecycle phase. The choice of specific simulation method is dependent on the objectives intended, which include optimization of design configuration during the design and development phase and performance evaluation and optimization of resource utilization during the in-service phase of a PSS lifecycle. An area for further research is the application of simulation as a tool for cost analysis and cost estimation

    The biggest problems faced by home industry players are difficulties in marketing products and lack of skills in using technology as well as a lack of product quality assurance which causes difficulties in accessing a wider market. The aim of this service is to improve the performance of creative home industry players through innovation capabilities and product branding through technological literacy and recognition of business opportunities. The method used in this service starts from the planning process, implementing activities and monitoring evaluation. In the process of implementing activities in the form of providing training using lecture and discussion methods as well as mentoring to participants. This program was carried out by a team of ITSK Lecturers and Students Sugeng Hartono with the target being household food industry players who are members of ASEMKESUR in Solo Raya.     Policy Implementation of Regional Public Service Board (BLUD) in Regional General Hospital of Sidoarjo Regency. Hospital as one of the types of Public Service Board is the main of the development of public health. Regional General Hospital of Sidoarjo Regency is Local Government Affair Unit that has been implementing Financial Management Pattern of Regional Public Service Board (PPK-BLUD) since January 1, 2009 based on Regent Decree Number 188/1229/404.1.1.2/2008. Hence Regional Public Service Board Sidoarjo Regency is expected to improve the quality of service, efficiency and giving accessibility good enough to the society with providing services such as providing goods and/or services sold without prioritising seeking and based on efficiency principle and productivity. The purpose of this study is how the implementation, result and the constraints faced. This study used method of research that use are qualitative research combined with descriptive approach and tend to use SWOT analysis. The results of this study are BLUD policy implementation results are quite good but there are still many things to be improved and upgraded. The suggestion given are doing improve the marketing of a superior product, need for monitoring and evaluation of employee performance estimation gradually

    Multicriteria decision analysis for fruits and vegetables routes based on the food miles concept

    The aim of this research is to propose a performance evaluation system to rank the efficiency of fruit and vegetables (FV) distribution routes based on selected criteria related to logistic, distribution practices and physical losses that are part of the attributes associated with the food miles concept. To achieve this end, the multicriteria Preference Ranking Method for Enrichment Evaluation (PROMETHEE) was adopted. The distance that a food item travels from the field to the table is an important logistical indicator and sooner it arrives in the hands of the consumer, the greater the degree of preservation of quality, i.e., the integrity of the item’s sensory and organoleptic characteristics. An analysis of the logistics involved should take into consideration issues such as distance, transportation time, pollutant emissions, conditioning, and all the other attributes pertinent to the food miles concept. Short routes were the most efficient, however the perishability of the product was not the main factor, this is because aspects related to a good ability to offer products, transport them safely and assertiveness in predicting demand contributed more to the high efficiency rates, thereby, it is the short routes that service the predilections of consumers who value locally produced food.     Performance evaluation was showed that average service time from January to October 2016 was 35.56 minutes. The average service time ensuring provision of medical records of outpatients was under targets because the standard of service time of the Minister of Health No. 129 at 2008 is <10 minutes. This research aimed to determine the information quality of medical record documents outpatients as helped efforts to improve the information quality of medical record documents. This was a descriptive study with cross-sectional design. Data was collected through observation outpatient medical record on December. The samples consisted 115 medical record documents. The sampling method used was random sampling. Variable used by researchers was the quality dimensions of The Product and Service Performance for Information Quality Model. The results showed the dimensions free of error of 68.33%, dimensions of concise representation of 58.44%, and the dimensions of completeness by 55.56%, and dimensions of consistent representation of 52.22%. Based on research result, average score of information quality assessment were good enough.     The purpose of this study is to find out how to evaluate the performance of study programs in higher education perspective balance score. The method used in this study is a mix of methods between quantitative and qualitative research methods. Program evaluation and quality assurance have become important elements in the efforts to continuously improve public rehabilitation programs and community-based rehabilitation organizations. higher education, (2) whether there is an increase in higher education performance, the study program is seen from the perspective of the balanced scorecard. This article is an evaluation model of program reviews in higher education services. In addition, the article shows the analysis of other related journals. This continues (1) the results of the higher education performance accreditation assessment process with 4 balanced perspectives that are visible (a) based on the perspective of the financial scorecard in a fairly good position (b) the perspective of the higher education customer is in the good category (c) in the innovation process, can seen as an emerging customer need, a university is a product or service to meet those needs. (d) the existing learning and growth perspective is going quite well. In conclusion, the results of accreditation conducted in general can reflect the feasibility and accountability of agencies in the management of higher education.
