    La incorporaci贸n del registro de obras y autores de una instituci贸n: estudio de caso SEDICI-UNLP-Scopus

    El Servicio de Difusi贸n de la Creaci贸n Intelectual (SEDICI) es el repositorio institucional de la Universidad Nacional de La Plata (UNLP), y cuenta con recursos de diferentes tipolog铆as como art铆culos de revistas cient铆ficas, publicaciones en congresos, tesis (doctorado, maestr铆a, especializaci贸n y pregrado), normativas y ordenanzas, libros y libros electr贸nicos, audios, fotograf铆as, entre otros. El objetivo principal de este trabajo fue recuperar y dar cuenta de todas las obras producidas por autores de la UNLP, para dar difusi贸n y visibilidad dentro de su repositorio institucional e incrementar las producciones presentes en el mismo. En julio del 2013 se inici贸 una recopilaci贸n de todos los art铆culos, objetos de conferencia y art铆culos de revisi贸n que se encuentran en la base de datos bibliogr谩fica Scopus comprendidos entre 1927 y 2013. Para lograr tal objetivo, se defini贸 un mecanismo semiautom谩tico de incorporaci贸n de recursos desde Scopus al DSpace implementado en SEDICI. Este mecanismo fue desarrollado en sucesivas fases, que pueden resumirse en: recuperaci贸n desde Scopus, filtrado, limpieza, transformaci贸n y normalizaci贸n de los metadatos, importaci贸n de autores y de los recursos, revisi贸n, filtrado, incorporaci贸n de los PDF (si la licencia lo permite) y finalmente publicaci贸n en el repositorio. La consulta sobre Scopus finaliz贸 el 1 de marzo de 2014 en la UNLP y fue posible gracias al servicio de pago que Elsevier brinda al Ministerio de Ciencia, Tecnolog铆a e Innovaci贸n Productiva de la Rep煤blica Argentina. Esto implica que este tipo de consultas puede ser realizada por otras instituciones p煤blicas de investigaci贸n de la Argentina que est茅n bajo el paraguas del MinCyT. En resumen, el trabajo tuvo dos logros tangibles: se incorporaron a SEDICI 19.940 documentos con filiaci贸n de la UNLP y 89.903 autores de los cuales al eliminar los no repetidos se redujo a 24.161 autores. Esta informaci贸n permiti贸 sumar recursos a la producci贸n local alojada en el repositorio, mejorar la calidad de los metadatos ya almacenados e incrementar la visibilidad del repositorio y de la universidad. Por otro lado, a partir de ISSN/ESSN de los listados de revistas de DOAJ, PubMed, SherpaRomeo, SciELO y Redalyc, se relacionaron con los art铆culos importados desde Scopus, lo que permiti贸 detectar que al menos un 74% de los documentos detectados admite su incorporaci贸n a texto completo en el repositorio, ya sea porque la revista es de acceso abierto, es una revista que permite preprint o postprint, o porque el autor ha pagado el arancel correspondiente para que su art铆culo est茅 en abierto

    Contextualizing digital reformatting in the history of preservation knowledge: timeline and research directions

    This research builds a timeline of the development of preservation knowledge drawn from key texts in the field of the history of preservation in order to establish the larger historical and cultural trends shaping digital reformatting as a sociotechnical practice in information institutions. The timeline integrates key events, inventions and standards in the development of preservation knowledge from the 19th century to the present time, and charts and periodizes particular intellectual trends that integrate technological and institutional change into the development of preservation knowledge, focusing primarily on the U.S. context. From these trends, the author identifies a potential area of future research on digital reformatting that draws on perspectives from research in the sociology of standards

    PENGARUH PERPUSTAKAAN DIGITAL DAN MOTIVASI BERPRESTASI TERHADAP MINAT BACA SISWA DI SMA NU 1 GRESIK

    Abstrak Perpustakaan digital merupakan koleksi data multimedia dalam skala besar yang terorganisasi dengan perangkat manajemen informasi. Sedangkan motivasi berprestasi adalah suatu istilah yang berasal dari kata motif yang dapat diartikan sebagai suatu dorongan kekuatan yang terdapat dalam diri individu, yang menyebabkan individu tersebut bertindak atau berbuat untuk mencapai tujuan teribaik. Dalam dunia pendidikan yang semakin maju kedua faktor tersebut akan sangat berpengaruh kepada minat baca siswa, adapun beberapa faktor yang mempengaruhi minat baca siswa yaitu kebutuhan, perasaan dan lingkungan. Pada penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh perpustakaan digital dan motivasi berprestasi terhadap minat baca siswa di SMA NU 1 Gresik. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian korelasi. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas xi SMA NU 1 Gresik sebanyak 188 siswa. Analisis data penelitian menggunakan regresi ganda dan uji t. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data uji t pengaruh secara parsial pada variabel perpustakaan digital memperoleh nilai signifikan 0,003 < 0,05, maka artinya terdapat pengaruh terhadap minat baca siswa. Sedangkan hasil data variabel motivasi berprestasi memperoleh nilai signifikan 0,00 < 0,05, maka artinya terdapat pengaruh terhadap minat baca siswa. Hasil analisis dari tabel persamaan regresi ganda, diketahui nilai Fhitung adalah sebesar 162,459 dan nilai signifikan yang diperoleh adalah 0,000. Nilai signifikan ini lebih kecil dari pada nilai alpha 0,05 dengan demikian H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. Artinya perpustakaan digital dan motivasi berprestasi secara bersama-sama berpengaruh terhadap minat baca siswa. Kata Kunci : Perpustakaan Digital, Motivasi Berprestasi, dan Minat Baca Siswa. While achievement motivation is a term derived from the word motive that can be interpreted as a force impulse contained in the individual, which causes the individual to art or do to achieve the best goals. In an increasingly advanced world of education these two factors will be very influential to the interest of reading students, as for several factors that affect reading interest of students is the needs, feelings and environment. This study aims to determine the influence of digital libraries and achievement motivation of students interest in reading SMA NU 1 Gresik. This study uses a quantitative approach with the type of correlation research. The sample in this research is the students as many as 188 students. Analysis of research data using multiple regression and t test. Based on the result of t test data analysis partoally on digital library variable get significant value 0,003 < 0,05 hence there is influence to student reading interest. While the result of achievement motivation data variable get significant value 0,00 < 0,05 then mean there is influence to student reading interest.The results of analysis of multiple regression equation table, note the value of F is equal to 162, 459 and significant value obtained was 0,000. Significant value is smaller than the alpha value of 0,05 and is therefore rejected H0 and H1 accepted.     The Digital Library (DIGILIB) or Digital Library has a short but tumultuous and explosive history. Some early visionaries, such as Licklider 1965, had the idea that "the libraries of tomorrow will be highly innovative and differentiated in structure, processing, and access through heavy technological applications. This study uses a quantitative approach to the type of correlation research. Knowledgeable quantitative research using data in the form of numbers as a tool to find information about what we want to know. This study aims to determine the effect of digital libraries on students' reading interest at Sunan Ampel State Islamic University. The sample in this study were students of the Islamic religious education master's degree class B, totaling 13 students. Based on the results of the research that has been described, decision making in a simple linear regression test, based on the significance value of the coefficient table, a significance value of 0.000 <0.05 is obtained, so it can be concluded that Digital Library (X) has an effect on Student Reading Interest (Y). and it is known that t count is 3.038 > t table 2.20099, so it can be concluded that the use of digital libraries has an effect on students' reading interest (Ha).Keywords: Digital Library, Reading InterestDigital Library (DIGILIB) atau Perpustakaan Digital memiliki sejarah yang singkat namun penuh dengan gejolak dan eksplosif. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian korelasi. Penelitian kuantitatif berpengetahuan dengan menggunakan data berupa angka sebagai alat untuk menemukan keterangan mengenai apa yang ingin kita ketahui. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh digital library terhadap minat baca mahasiswa di Universitas Islam Negeri Sunan Ampel. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa magister Pendidikan agama islam kelas B yang berjumlah 13 mahasiswa. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dipaparkan Pengambilan keputusan dalam uji regresi linear sederhana, berdasarkan nilai signifikansi dari tabel coefficient diperoleh nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000 < 0,05, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa Digital Library (X) berpengaruh Terhadap Minat Baca Mahasiswa (Y). dan diketahui t hitung sebesar 3.038 > t tabel 2.20099, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan digital library berpengaruh terhadap minat baca mahasiswa (Ha)

    El desarrollo de software dirigido por modelos en los repositorios institucionales

    Los Repositorios Institucionales (RI) se han consolidado en la academia, prueba de ello es el crecimiento en n煤mero de registros en los directorios existentes realizado por diferentes v铆as: autoarchivo por parte de autores, la incorporaci贸n de material a cargo de bibliotecarios, entre otras. En este trabajo se hace un relevamiento bibliogr谩fico sobre el uso del enfoque de Desarrollo de Software Dirigido por Modelos (MDD) en los sistemas de RI con el prop贸sito de establecer una relaci贸n entre ellos. El MDD es un paradigma de construcci贸n de software que asigna a los modelos un rol central y se derivan modelos que van desde los m谩s abstractos a los m谩s concretos. Este paradigma, adem谩s, proporciona un marco de trabajo que permite a los interesados compartir sus puntos de vista y manipular las representaciones de las entidades del dominio.     Los Repositorios Institucionales (RI) se han consolidado en la academia, prueba de ello es el crecimiento en n煤mero de registros en los directorios existentes realizado por diferentes v铆as: autoarchivo por parte de autores, la incorporaci贸n de material a cargo de bibliotecarios, entre otras. En este trabajo se hace un relevamiento bibliogr谩fico sobre el uso del enfoque de Desarrollo de Software Dirigido por Modelos (MDD) en los sistemas de RI con el prop贸sito de establecer una relaci贸n entre ellos. El MDD es un paradigma de construcci贸n de software que asigna a los modelos un rol central y se derivan modelos que van desde los m谩s abstractos a los m谩s concretos. Este paradigma, adem谩s, proporciona un marco de trabajo que permite a los interesados compartir sus puntos de vista y manipular las representaciones de las entidades del dominio. En conclusi贸n, el seguimiento de las diferentes investigaciones relevadas y lo aqu铆 expuesto permiten incentivar implementaciones de software para los RI.The Institutional Repositories (IR) have been consolidated into the academy, the proof of this is the growth in number of records in existing directories made by various means, such as self-archiving by authors and the incorporation of material by librarians. In this paper, a bibliographic survey about the use of the Model-Driven Software Development approach is done (MDD) in the IR systems in order to establish a relationship between them. The MDD is a paradigm for building software that assigns a central role to the models and originates models that range from the most abstract to the most concrete. This paradigm also provides a framework that allows the interested ones to share their points of view and directly manipulate the representations of the domain entities from IR. While achievement motivation is a term derived from the word motive that can be interpreted as a force impulse contained in the individual, which causes the individual to art or do to achieve the best goals. In an increasingly advanced world of education these two factors will be very influential to the interest of reading students, as for several factors that affect reading interest of students is the needs, feelings and environment. This study aims to determine the influence of digital libraries and achievement motivation of students interest in reading SMA NU 1 Gresik. This study uses a quantitative approach with the type of correlation research. The sample in this research is the students as many as 188 students. Analysis of research data using multiple regression and t test. Based on the result of t test data analysis partoally on digital library variable get significant value 0,003 < 0,05 hence there is influence to student reading interest. While the result of achievement motivation data variable get significant value 0,00 < 0,05 then mean there is influence to student reading interest.The results of analysis of multiple regression equation table, note the value of F is equal to 162, 459 and significant value obtained was 0,000. Significant value is smaller than the alpha value of 0,05 and is therefore rejected H0 and H1 accepted.
