    Get PDF
A 3-D novel double-convection chaotic system with three nonlinearities is proposed in this research work. The dynamical properties of the new chaotic system are described in terms of phase portraits, Lyapunov exponents, Kaplan-Yorke dimension, dissipativity, stability analysis of equilibria, etc. Adaptive control and synchronization of the new chaotic system with unknown parameters are achieved via nonlinear controllers and the results are established using Lyapunov stability theory. Furthermore, an electronic circuit realization of the new 3-D novel chaotic system is presented in detail. Finally, the circuit experimental results of the 3-D novel chaotic attractor show agreement with the numerical simulations

Chaos is an active topic of study in the field of secure communication systems that have garnered much consideration in recent years because of excessive sensitivity to a simple change in its initial conditions. In this paper, the essential features of the suggested WINDMI chaotic system like the phase portraits of the attractors, bifurcation, PSD, correlation, and balance property of the windmi chaotic system have been depicted in detail through MATLAB tools simulations and circuital application. The bifurcation examination detects a wealthy and attractive characteristic of the proposed windmi chaotic oscillators such as periodical multiple bifurcations, has two stable states chaotic demeanor, periodical windows, and recapture bifurcations. In this paper, after exploring the dynamic features of the windmi chaos paradigm, a practical chaotic circuit is implemented on the fpaa chip. Eventually, the circuit practical results of the windmi chaotic attractors present similarities with numerical simulations. The importance of the work is reflected in the use of field programmable analog array in the implementation of the windmi oscillator, and the possibility of varying the initial condition during the operation of the system. An unlimited number of signals can be generated, which enables it to be used as an oscillator utilized in many transceiver systems, that utilized an unlimited number of signals

A new chaotic system with line equilibrium is introduced in this paper. This system consists of five terms with two transcendental nonlinearities and two quadratic nonlinearities. Various tools of dynamical system such as phase portraits, Lyapunov exponents, Kaplan-Yorke dimension, bifurcation diagram and Poincarè map are used. It is interesting that this system has a line of fixed points and can display chaotic attractors. Next, this paper discusses control using passive control method. One example is given to insure the theoretical analysis. Finally, for the  new chaotic system, An electronic circuit for realizing the chaotic system has been implemented. The numerical simulation by using MATLAB 2010 and implementation of circuit simulations by using MultiSIM 10.0 have been performed in this study

Physics and Applications of Laser Diode Chaos

An overview of chaos in laser diodes is provided which surveys experimental achievements in the area and explains the theory behind the phenomenon. The fundamental physics underpinning this behaviour and also the opportunities for harnessing laser diode chaos for potential applications are discussed. The availability and ease of operation of laser diodes, in a wide range of configurations, make them a convenient test-bed for exploring basic aspects of nonlinear and chaotic dynamics. It also makes them attractive for practical tasks, such as chaos-based secure communications and random number generation. Avenues for future research and development of chaotic laser diodes are also identified.Comment: Published in Nature Photonic

A new chaotic attractor with two quadratic nonlinearities, its synchronization and circuit implementation

    Get PDF
A 3-D new chaotic attractor with two quadratic nonlinearities is proposed in this paper. The dynamical properties of the new chaotic system are described in terms of phase portraits, equilibrium points, Lyapunov exponents, Kaplan-Yorke dimension, dissipativity, etc. We show that the new chaotic system has three unstable equilibrium points. The new chaotic attractor is dissipative in nature. As an engineering application, adaptive synchronization of identical new chaotic attractors is designed via nonlinear control and Lyapunov stability theory. Furthermore, an electronic circuit realization of the new chaotic attractor is presented in detail to confirm the feasibility of the theoretical chaotic attractor model
