Recently, the discussion on the introduction of marine education to schools has been actively done. In Japan, the issues surrounding sea are diverse in each region. In order to practice marine education (included fisheries education) in schools, the partnership of school and society is important. The partnership in fisheries high schools is able to be classified into six types. This practice will bring up students to citizens who can think and act for sustainable future.近年、学校教育への海洋教育の導入に関する議論が高まっている。我が国の海洋をめぐる問題は地域ごとに多様であり、海洋教育（水産教育を含む）を学校教育のなかで実践するうえでは、学校と地域との連携が不可欠である。地域社会との連携の中で水産・海洋に関する教育を実践してきた水産・海洋系高校における地域連携教育について分析を行った結果、6 つのタイプに類型化された。これら学校と地域との連携教育は地域の持続可能性を考え、将来の地域社会を担う人材の養成を行う上で有効であり、今後、水産・海洋系高校にとって重要な活動となろう。伊藤雄介: 京都大学大学院地球環境学舎川下新次郎: 東京海洋大学大学院海洋科学系海洋政策文化学部

A study on the assimilation of different fields into dietary education ―An aim to implement more effective dietary education―

To examine the potential for improving dietary education through assimilating different fields, we arranged and classified the contents of 114 studies that had been contributed to the Journal of Japanese Society of Shokuiku until its most recent publication. Overall, 58.8% (67 articles) of the studies addressed cooking, nutrition, dietary habits, and meals, whereas 20.2% (23 articles) assimilated different fields. Of these, five articles reported on implementation done with definite objectives. One study reported results of questionnaires administered before and after an implementation that used a control group, but no studies were found that discussed the results combined with those from different fields. In contrast, we were able to find the possibility of implementing more effective dietary education by combining results obtained from different fields in existing research

Developing a tentative teaching plan for Civics focused on a sustainable society to teach about "Development" and "Poverty"

本研究は、高等学校公民科において、「開発」と「貧困」の問題を取り上げ、持続可能な社会の形成を目指し、それを支える市民の育成を目標とする単元を開発しようとするものである。「開発」と「貧困」の問題は、従来から公民科においても取り上げられている。しかしながら、その学習は問題の表面的な理解にとどまり、他国の立場も理解し自らもできることを見つけて取り組もうというスローガンの提示で終わることが多いように思われる。本研究においては、持続可能な社会という観点から「開発」と「貧困」の問題を捉えなおし、それを支える社会の仕組みやシステムをも認識させる単元の開発を目指した
