Життєздатність Betula pendula Roth. в урбосистемі м. Кривого Рогу

We investigated the viability of silver birch (Betula pendula Roth.) in the urbanized system of Krivyi Rih. The largest biometric indicators of the 34–36 year old trees are marked in plantations growing in the arboretum of botanical garden as well in the park and the square (h = 16.3–17.2 m; D = 26.0–28.3 cm) and substantially less than the trees, plantations are located near the steel mills (h = 11.9–12.6 m; D = 20.9–23.9 cm). Trees in these plantations have the vo lume of the crown in 3.7–4.1 times smaller, the average life status in 2.4–2.6 times lower than in comparison with the plants in the arboretum and 61.7 % of the trees in plantations in the emission zone of metallurgical combines have the dieback. The main type of B. pendula plantings is clumb of trees, where plants were planted in most cases at a distance of 0.5–4.0 m; it causes significant inhibition of 23–35-year-old trees growing in the central parts of clumbs. Some of 35–40-year-old trees of B. pendula gradually loses its decorative effect due to the development of the dieback.Досліджено життєздатність берези повислої (Betula pendula Roth.) в урбосистемі м. Кривого Рогу. Найбільші біометричні показники у 34–36-річних дерев відзначено в насадженнях дендрарію ботанічного саду, парку і сквері міста (висота дерева – 16,3–17,2 м, діаметр стовбура – 26,0–28,3 см), найменші у дерев, які зростають поряд з металургійними комбінатами (11,9–12,6 м, 20,9–23,9 см). У дерев цих насаджень в 3,7–4,1 разу менший об’єм крони порівняно з рослинами дендрарію, в 2,4–2,6 разу нижчий середній показник життєвого стану, 61,70 % із них відзначаються суховершинністю. Основним типом насаджень B. pendula в місті є куртинний, рослини висаджували переважно на відстані 0,5–4,0 м. У віці 23–35 років рослини, які зростають усередині куртин, суттєво відстають у рості порівняно з деревами, розташованими по краю. У віці 35–40 років окремі рослини B. pendula в умовах м. Кривого Рогу поступово втрачають декоративність через розвиток суховершинності

Специфика применения эксперимента в общественной науке

Стаття присвячена особливостям економічного та соціального експериментів. Розглянуто низку переваг даного методу дослідження, а також приділено особливу увагу можливим викликам, з якими стикається вчений.The article is mainly devoted to peculiarities of social and economic experiments. Unfortunately, there is no single approach to defining the notion «experiment». Hence every science offers its unique vision of the category. By the early XX-th century there was a view of the impossibility of using the experiment as an investigation method dominated in the economic theory. However, today the situation has significantly changed. Moreover, game theory, mathematical modelling, experimental markets, auctions, financial markets, individual choice, economic games are vivid examples of experiments in Economics. Further, the benefits of the experiment as a research method were reviewed. The experiment helps explain causal relationships, identify stable patterns, and make predictions for the future. It enables to simulate various situations for as long as the researcher wants. In spite of these advantages, this method has some shortcomings. The experiment is more complex (difficult) than other ones and much more expensive. It is proved that a major cause of distorted results is correlation between factors. In comparison with natural sciences, there are limited opportunities of using experiments in social ones. For the most part, social experiments are intended to monitor people’s behaviour in the society. It is surprising that social experiments have not only a scientific nature, but also can be socially useful. The article is filled with relevant and striking examples of social and economic experiments. In conclusion, a rhetorical question is posed about the dependence on the interpretation of the experiment from the researcher’s opinion. Such position leads to reflection and research of the new solutions to the problem.Статья посвящена особенностям экономического и социального экспериментов. Coniferous introducents for testing in forest cultures of the Kazakh uplands

The article presents data on the most promising species of coniferous introduces. As a result of a long period of testing and a comprehensive assessment,species were proposed for production testing and further use in afforestation on the territory of the Kazakh Uplands.Приведены данные о наиболее перспективных видах хвойных интродуцентов, предложены виды для производственного испытания и дальнейшего использования при лесоразведении на территории Казахского мелкосопочника

Connection of forestry conditions and differentiation of trees in sanitary protective forest plantations

Длительные наблюдения (1983-2018 гг.) за состоянием санитарно-защитных насаждений Стерлитамакского промышленного центра (Предуралье) на сети постоянных пробных площадей свидетельствуют об ухудшении относительного жизненного состояния древостоев. У ослабленных деревьев выявлен максимальный коэффициент перехода металлов (0,580,60) из корней в надземную часть. У здоровых деревьев коэффициент перехода металлов от корней в надземную часть составляет 0,150,31. Экологический санирующий эффект насаждений зависит от степени дифференциации деревьев в насаждениях.Long-term observations (1983-2018) of the condition of sanitary protection plantations of the Sterlitamak Industrial Center (PreUrals) on a network of permanent test areas indicate a deterioration in the relative life status of forest stands. In weakened trees, the maximum transition coefficient of metals (0.58- 0.60) from the roots to the aerial part was revealed. In healthy trees, the transition rate of metals from the roots to the aerial part is 0.15-0.31. Consequently, in healthy birch, poplar and larch trees, barrier mechanisms exist that determine the limitation of metal transport to the aerial part (leaves and branches). The ecological sanitizing effect of plantations depends on the degree of differentiation of trees in plantations

Amor y memoria: una estrategia platónica para la identidad y la inmortalidad

Mostraremos aquí la vinculación ἔρως-μνήμη como estrategia para alcanzar un cierto grado de identidad e inmortalidad en dos obras platónicas. En Banquete veremos cómo amor y memoria contribuyen a: i) la supervivencia fiel de los ἑρωτικοὶ λόγοι de la cadena narrativa; ii) la preservación de la identidad e inmortalidad aliud pro alio a través de la procreación de individuos de la misma especie, de producciones culturales perdurables, y de los componentes somáticos y mentales de cada individuo. En el Fedro trataremos la relación “amor-reminiscencia-identidad personal-inmortalidad” para distinguir entre: i) quienes no rememoran el plano eidético, reproduciendo su configuración psicosomática actual u otras similares en vidas futuras; ii) los filósofos quienes, gracias al amor a lo bello, logran la ἀνάμνησις, asemejándose a la actividad noética del ἔρως alado, divino e inmortal
