Nikolai Kondratiev (1892-1938) was one of the most. if not the most influential of the talented young Russian economists working in the first third of this century, and certainly the best known internationally at that time. His decisive contribution was the presentation of the hypothesis of the long waves in capitalist development—named by Joseph Schumpeter and known thereafter as "Kondratiev waves." - that for some time was an important topic in the research agenda of economics. СЕСАР ВАЛЬЄХО: НАЦІОНАЛЬНА ТОТОЖНІСТЬ ПЕРУАНСЬКОГО ПОЕТИЧНОГО АВАНГАРДУ

The article deals with the poetry of the Peruvian César Vallejo (1892-1938), one of the most outstanding poetical voices in Latin America of the 20th century, regrettably unheeded by the Ukrainian scholars up to now. This inaugural analysis of Vallejo’s avant-gardist and essentially existentialist poetical attitude focuses on his search for national identity, as manifested in his stylistic palette. The poet’s leftism came to obstruct his sensitive and almost bohemian individuality, with Andean and, especially, Indian world remaining as its only fulcrum.У статті проаналізовано творчість перуанського поета Сесара Вальєхо (1892–1938), одного з найвизначніших латиноамериканських письменників ХХ ст., який, на жаль, досі не став об’єктом уваги українських літературознавців. У цій першій спробі наукового аналізу вальєхіанського авангардного за формою та сутнісно екзистенціалістського поетичного бачення світу основний наголос зроблено на розкритті національної тотожності, оприявненої у стилі. Сесар Вальєхо: національна тотожність перуанського поетичного авангарду

У статті проаналізовано творчість перуанського поета Сесара Вальєхо (1892–1938), одного з найвизначніших латиноамериканських письменників ХХ ст., який, на жаль, досі не став об’єктом уваги українських літературознавців. У цій першій спробі наукового аналізу вальєхіанського авангардного за формою та сутнісно екзистенціалістського поетичного бачення світу основний наголос зроблено на розкритті національної тотожності, оприявненої у стилі. Ліва ідеологія Вальєхо перебувала в суперечливій єдності з його чутливою та майже богемною натурою. Figuraciones de Charlot en algunos textos de la vanguardia peruana

The article examines the several ways of shaping Charlot/Chaplin, in some texts of three key representatives of the Peruvian avant-garde: Ángela Ramos (1896-1988), José Carlos Mariátegui (1894) -1930) and César Vallejo (1892-1938). In those works, Charlot/Chaplin can be considered a projection of such authors' aesthetic-ideological proposals. Through the allusions or explicit references to his films together with the recovery and re-inscription of their main character in texts of various genres (short story, critical essay, newspaper column, poetry), Ramos, Mariátegui, and Vallejo bring forward their own poetics and worldviews, as well as their takes on laughter, the functions of comedy, and distancing or ironic unfolding.Keywords: Charlot, Peruvian avant-garde, figurations of the author.___________ Figuraciones de Charlot en algunos textos de la vanguardia peruanaResumen: El artículo examina las figuraciones de Charlot/Chaplin consideradas como proyecciones de las propuestas estético-ideológicas de sus autores, en textos de tres representantes de la vanguardia peruana: Ángela Ramos (1896-1988), José Carlos Mariátegui (1894-1930) y César Vallejo (1892-1938). Life, absurd and commitment in César Vallejo and Nicanor Parra

Este artigo investiga a relação entre a obra antipoética do chileno Nicanor Parra (1914-2018) e a obra do poeta peruano César Vallejo (1892-1938), a partir de temas formais das poesias de ambos, como o verso como unidade elementar do poema, bem como do tratamento que dão um e outro autor à questão da vida popular e do engajamento político. Procura-se, a partir da obra de Vallejo, mais do que identificar uma influência poética, estabelecer o contexto social e político no qual a obra de Parra começou a se desenvolver, e construir, assim, os fundamentos para compreender a ponte entre a poesia pós-vanguardista de Vallejo e a antipoesia de Parra.This article aims to investigate the relation between the antipoetic works of Chilean poet Nicanor Parra (1914-2018) and Peruvian poet César Vallejo (1892-1938), examining formal aspects of both poets, such as the verse as an elementary unit of the poem, as well as how questions like popular life and political commitment appear in both authors. We try not only to identify Vallejo’s work as one of the major influences for Nicanor Parra, but also to establish the political and social context in which Parra’s work begins to develop, thus setting the foundations to comprehend the passage from Vallejo’s post avant-garde poetry and Parra’s antipoetry

Spaces and Absences: Being Uprooted and Tragedy of Exile in César Vallejo and Eugenio Montale

César Vallejo (1892-1938) y Eugenio Montale (1896-1981) han renovado la tradición lírica y la han fusionado con elementos e ideas modernas; ambos fueron permeables a los mismos acontecimientos históricos que sacudieron a Europa y a América, pero han conservado un resabio de las tradiciones propias de las regiones donde se criaron (Perú para Vallejo, Italia para Montale); también experimentaron las consecuencias producidas por los cambios políticos. Por último, los dos han sido asociados en algún momento de la producción poética con el Hermetismo. Todos estos aspectos han proporcionado un fundamento para abordar algunos poemas de Vallejo y Montale que tratan el tema de la ausencia y de la casa, por un lado, como espacio interior, así como en relación a las ausencias, a los lazos afectivos y al recuerdo.César Vallejo (1892-1938) and Eugenio Montale (1896-1981) have brought up to date the lyric tradition and have merged it with new ideas and elements. Both writers were influenced by the same historic events that shook Europe and America. Nevertheless, they have been able to keep a hint of their own regional traditions: Vallejo from Peru, where he grew up, and Montale from Italy. They also bore the consequences of political changes. Finally, during their poetic production both writers have been associated with Hermetism.Considering all these aspects, we are able to approach some of Vallejo’s and Montale’s poems about absence and home as inner space and memory, on the one hand, and in connection to absences, emotional ties and reminiscences, on the other hand
