    The study is devoted to the substantiation of the basic components of the mechanism of regulation of social and labor relations in the united territorial communities of Ukraine. The article analyzes the research on the role of the state and local governments in regulating and developing social and labor relations at the local level. The leading world concepts in regulating social and labor relations have been characterized. The purpose and role of local self- government bodies in regulating social and labor relations have been defined. The basic scientific approaches to the concept of “community development” have been investigated.     The impact of changes in labor relations on mortality rates in Russia

    Purpose. The purpose of the study is to assess the indicators characterizing a comprehensive change in social and labor relations in Russia for the period 1992-2016 and the subsequent change in the indicators of total mortality and mortality of the working-age population.  Methodology/approach. Economic analysis and grouping of empirical data, construction of dynamic series and their visualization were performed. The research period is the entire post-Soviet stage of social and labor relations development, i.e. from 1992 up to the present. Results. 1) the complex impact of the change in the state of social and labor relations on the population mortality rates and on the development of existing proven dependencies was estimated; 2) previously identified deferred impact of the income factor on the working age population mortality rate was confirmed; a similar influence of the labor conditions factor was revealed; 3) the influence of the working day's duration factor was observed; 4) the coincidence of the changes trends in the population death rate with the stages of social and labor relations transformation was confirmed: proto-transformation, partial transformation and complete transformation. Conclusions. Practitioners can use these results in developing directions to reduce mortality and improve working life quality; researchers can use these results as a basic hypothesis for determining the degree of mortality rates dependence on social and labor relations indicators. &nbsp

    Trust in the Development of Labor Relations and Well-being at Work

    The paper studies the interconnection between the concepts of social and labor relations, the quality of working life and well-being at work. We reviewed a wide range of works, the authors of which had come to the understanding of the role of trust in the social and human sciences. It is shown that trust is the basic phenomenon underlying all the concepts mentioned. The method of content analysis was used to analyze the role of trust in formation of social and labor relations and well-being at work at different stages of an organization's life cycle. The application of content analysis in the theoretical concept of Adizes' life-cycle model allowed us to prove that the «trust» factor plays an important role at every stage of an organization's life cycle, defining its features. Its presence leads to the development of organization, but the lack of «trust» destroys it. It is shown that the features of current phase of an organization's life cycle influences the conditions of social and labor relations, the quality of working life and the level of well-being

    The article examines the transformation of social and labor relations in the context of the formation of labor potential that meets the challenges of the market economy. The author highlights the main barriers to the implementation of the resource potential of the main actors of social and labor relations – employees and employers: worsening financial situation of the working class, the declining prestige of "blue-collar" workers, labor shortages, the decline of the system of vocational education.В статье рассматриваются вопросы трансформации социально-трудовых отношений в контексте формирования трудового потенциала промышленных работников, адекватного вызовам рыночной экономики. Автором выделены основные барьеры, препятствующие реализации ресурсного потенциала основных акторов социально-трудовых отношений – наемных работников и работодателей (предпринимателей): ухудшение материального положения рабочего класса, падение престижа «синих воротничков», дефицит трудовых ресурсов, разрушение системы среднего профессионального образования
