    [[abstract]]In this paper we study the β-change of Rizza manifold associated with the generalized Finsler metric. It is proved that Randers change preserves the C-reducibility. We consider the Randers-change (superscript *)L=L+β and proved the conditions for Rizza manifold to be C-reducible, Berwald and Landsbergian. Also we obtain condition for Rizza manifold to be C-conformal to a locally Minkowski space

    The human fatigue problem is one of the most significant problems encountered by interactive genetic algorithms (IGA). Different strategies have been proposed to address this problem, such as easing evaluation methods, accelerating IGA convergence via speedup algorithms, and fitness prediction. This paper studies the performance of fitness prediction strategies. Three prediction schemes, the neural network (NN), the Bayesian learning algorithm (BLA), and a novel prediction method based on algorithmic probability (ALP), are examined. Numerical simulations are performed in order to compare the performances of these three schemes

    [[abstract]]  本研究旨在探討廈門市網球運動參與者涉入程度與網球拍品牌忠誠度之關係研究,以廈門市網球運動參與者為研究對象,採用便利抽樣的方式進行問卷調查,共回收450份問卷,其中有效問卷440份,將資料通過PASW 20.0統計軟體進行描述性統計、項目分析、因素分析、信度分析以及多元逐步迴歸分析後,得到以下結論:一、廈門市網球運動參與者以男性居多,年齡大多分佈在20-29歲,教育程度以大專居多,職業則以學生居多,月收入以2000元人民幣以下居多,球齡以2-5年為主,每週參與網球運動的次數為1-2次的居多,購買一支網球拍可以接受的價格以1001-1500元人民幣的人數最多,目前主要使用的網球拍品牌為Wilson(威爾遜)的最多;二、廈門市網球運動參與者對於涉入程度之得分大多介於「同意」到「非常同意」之間;在構面部分,以重要性構面分數最高,表示在廈門市網球運動參與者心目中存在之重要性及意義,在風險性構面之得分較低;三、廈門市網球運動參與者對於網球拍品牌忠誠度之得分大多介於「普通」到「同意」上下;在構面部分皆顯示出正向的品牌忠誠度,以口碑推薦構面分數最高,在風險性構面之得分較低;四、廈門市網球運動參與者涉入程度對於網球拍品牌忠誠度之預測結果中,其整體解釋力為18.5%,其中以「中心性」預測力為最強,其次為「風險性」、「重要性」及「愉悅性」。   The purpose of this study was to explore the correlation between tennis participants' involvements and their loyalty to tennis rackets' brands. . Questionnaire method and convenience sampling were adopted to collect data; statistic software PASW 20.0 was the data analysis tool. The totals given survey are 450 and the valid samples are 440. All the collected date was analyzed by PASW 20.0 statistical software with following conclusions: Firstly, most of tennis participant in Xiamen are male and their age are distribute between 20 and 29, majority of them have associate degree and bachelor degree, occupation is student at large amount, their income are below 2000 (RMB), the tennis experience of them are between 2 and 5 years and involve the tennis sport once or twice a week, the affordable price range of tennis racket (per one racket) for them is 1001(RMB) to 1500(RMB), they prefer using Wilson; Second, the involvement level of tennis in Xiamen are between 'agree' and 'strong agree' which based on the surveys. On the dimension level, the highest score was 'important', which means that tennis participants in Xiamen believe tennis sport is important and significant: on the other hand the risk dimension with lower score; Third, the brand loyalty of tennis racket in Xiamen are between 'normal' to 'agree' which based on the survey result. On the dimension level, the result show the tennis participants in Xiamen have positive brand loyalty and the high score was word-of mouth recommendation, on the contrary the other hand the risk dimension with lower score; Forth, the general explanatory power forecast result for tennis involvement and brand loyalty in Xiamen is 18.5%, in terms of forecast, 'centrality' is the strongest, then followed by 'risk', 'importance' and 'pleasure'

Employing the newly proposed delay-update technique and the subcube partition scheme, the proposed algorithm takes n+5logn+7 steps, and it tolerates ⎣n/2⎦ more faulty nodes than does Raghavendra and Sridhar’s algorithm [4] although 11 extra steps are needed

    A Study on the Pricing of Warrants Based on Genetic Programming

    [[abstract]]Black-Scholes(1973)年提出選擇權的評價模型,即奠定衍生性金融商品訂價基礎。由於Black-Scholes模型中有諸多假設和現實情況不致相同,所以估計出的價格容易有偏誤的現象,許多學者也嘗試以修正的Black-Scholes模型來做研究,但終究是建立在一個既定的假設模型下去解決問題。因此本文運用計算智慧中的遺傳規劃(Genetic Programming, GP)對台灣已發行之認購權證作評價,其模型不必依附於假設之下,因此對於解決問題有更大的彈性,並首次加入Koza(1994)所提出的自動定義函數(Automatically Defined Function, ADF),使其自行搜選出重要的變數用以自動演化,藉以改善認購權證訂價模型的正確性,提供一個更有效的評價模型。 研究結果發現:遺傳規劃對於在給定變數上的選擇機制,有良好的表現;若納入已知的模型於遺傳規劃中,其所提供之資訊確實能為遺傳規劃提供一個好的起點,協助演化出適當的評價模型;在遺傳規劃中加入自動定義函數,其對於遺傳規劃在變數的選取與解決重複性子函數的機制,確實能提高遺傳規劃的學習效率;當把認購權證區分為價內、價外兩個模型,其評價績效確實比未區分的權證模型好。[[abstract]]Black-Scholes averred an option pricing model, which became the base of derivatives pricing. There are a lot of assumptions in Black-Scholes model. Some of them are often not met in real world. Therefore, the Black-Scholes model usually produced price bias. In this paper, we use Genetic Programming to price warrants in Taiwan. Genetic Programming is a method of producing programs just by defining a problem-dependent fitness function. This paper is the first one which adds the Koza’s Automatically Defined Function (ADF) to evaluate prices of warrants in Taiwan. The result of the present study showed: The Genetic Programming has good performance in finding important variables. When we add some starting points to Genetic Programming by taking advantage of some well-known models, we find that the performance is better than the one of Black-Scholes model. Using Genetic Programming with ADF can produce a program which reveals important variables and can promote efficiency. By this way, it improves the exactness of pricing model of warrants. Classifying warrants into in-the-money and out-of-the-money, we show that Genetic Programming can find a pricing formula with small pricing errors
