    Driver Drowsiness Detection Using Gray Wolf Optimizer Based on Face and Eye Tracking

    It is critical today to provide safe and collision-free transport. As a result, identifying the driver’s drowsiness before their capacity to drive is jeopardized. An automated hybrid drowsiness classification method that incorporates the artificial neural network (ANN) and the gray wolf optimizer (GWO) is presented to discriminate human drowsiness and fatigue for this aim. The proposed method is evaluated in alert and sleep-deprived settings on the driver drowsiness detection of video dataset from the National Tsing Hua University Computer Vision Lab. The video was subjected to various video and image processing techniques to detect the drivers’ eye condition. Four features of the eye were extracted to determine the condition of drowsiness, the percentage of eyelid closure (PERCLOS), blink frequency, maximum closure duration of the eyes, and eye aspect ratio (ARE). These parameters were then integrated into an ANN and combined with the proposed method (gray wolf optimizer with ANN [GWOANN]) for drowsiness classification. The accuracy of these models was calculated, and the results demonstrate that the proposed method is the best. An Adadelta optimizer with 3 and 4 hidden layer networks of (13, 9, 7, and 5) and (200, 150, 100, 50, and 25) neurons was utilized. The GWOANN technique had 91.18% and 97.06% accuracy, whereas the ANN model had 82.35% and 86.76%

This article describes a voice-based drowsiness detection system and shows how to detect driver fatigue before it hampers driving. A neural network and Gray Wolf Optimizer are used to classify sleepiness automatically. The recommended approach is evaluated in alert and sleep-deprived states on the driver tiredness detection voice real dataset. The approach used in speech recognition is mel-frequency cepstral coefficients (MFCCs) and linear prediction coefficients (LPCs).     Driving sleepiness detection using electrooculogram analysis and grey wolf optimizer

    In modern society, providing safe and collision-free travel is essential. Therefore, detecting the drowsiness state of the driver before its ability to drive is compromised. For this purpose, an automated hybrid sleepiness classification system that combines the artificial neural network and gray wolf optimizer is proposed to distinguish human Sleepiness and fatigue. The proposed system is tested on data collected from 15 drivers (male and female) in alert and sleep-deprived conditions where physiological signals are used as sleep markers. To evaluate the performance of the proposed algorithm, k-nearest neighbors (k-NN), support vector machines (SVM), and artificial neural networks (ANN) classifiers have been used. The results show that the proposed hybrid method provides 99.6% accuracy, while the SVM classifier provides 93.0% accuracy when the kernel is (RBF) and outlier (0.1). Furthermore, the k-NN classifier provides 96.7% accuracy, whereas the standalone ANN algorithm provides 97.7% accuracy

    Comparative Analysis of ANN-ICA and ANN-GWO for Crop Yield Prediction

    Prediction of crops yield is essential for food security policymaking, planning, and trade. The objective of the current study is to propose novel crop yield prediction models based on hybrid machine learning methods. In this study the performance of artificial neural networks-imperialist competitive algorithm (ANN-ICA) and artificial neural networks-gray wolf optimizer (ANN-GWO) models for the crop yield prediction are evaluated. According to the results, ANN-GWO, with R of 0.48, RMSE of 3.19, and MEA of 26.65, proved a better performance in the crop yield prediction compared to the ANN-ICA model. The results can be used by either practitioners, researchers or policymakers for food security

    Metaheuristic Parameter Identification of Motors Using Dynamic Response Relations

    This article presents the use of the equations of the dynamic response to a step input in metaheuristic algorithm for the parametric estimation of a motor model. The model equations are analyzed, and the relations in steady-state and transient-state are used as delimiters in the search. These relations reduce the number of random parameters in algorithm search and reduce the iterations to find an acceptable result. The tests were implemented in two motors of known parameters to estimate the performance of the modifications in the algorithms. Tests were carried out with three algorithms (Gray Wolf Optimizer, Jaya Algorithm, and Cuckoo Search Algorithm) to prove that the benefits can be extended to various metaheuristics. The search parameters were also varied, and tests were developed with different iterations and populations. The results show an improvement for all the algorithms used, achieving the same error as the original method but with 10 to 50% fewer iterationsThis research received no external funding.     Pengendalian persediaan terintegrasi perlu dilakukan banyak pertimbangan terkait batasan yang ada untuk menemukan nilai optimal. Hal ini merupakan hal yang tidak mudah bila dilakukan perhitungan secara manual. Dengan adanya algoritma metaheuristik sebagai alat optimasi, dapat membantu untuk menemukan keputusan optimal. Model persediaan yang digunakan adalah Multi-Supplier Multi-Buyer (MSMB), dimana fungsi objektifnya adalah untuk memaksimasi Joint Total Profit (JTP). Biaya transportasi untuk pengiriman bahan baku dari supplier dan produk jadi ke buyer dipertimbangkan secara eksplisit ke dalam model. Penelitian ini mengusulkan Algoritma Grey Wolf Optimizer (GWO) dan Algoritma Genetika (GA) yang diklaim pada penelitian lain terkait optimasi persediaan dapat memberikan performa yang baik. Analisis dalam penelitian ini menggunakan studi kasus pada perusahaan skala mikro yang disertai analisis sensitivitas dan perbandingan hasil optimasi antar algoritma. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa biaya transportasi memiliki pengaruh besar terhadap Joint Total Profit (JTP), dan GWO memiliki performansi yang lebih baik dibandingkan GA dalam mengoptimasi model persediaan MSMB
