Data communication in distribution systems

Tento projekt zahŕňa základný prehľad o pojmoch ako sú komunikácia, dátová komunikácia a distribuovaný systém. Ďalej sa zameriava na technológie, ktoré sa používajú k diaľkovému zberu dát. Časť prace je tiež venovaná technológií PLC, ktorú používajú systémy, k diaľkovému zberu dát. V práci je tiež spomenutý pojem kvalita elektrickej energie a norma ČSN EN 50160. Hlavná časť práce je zameraná na návrh, realizáciu a meraniu na PLC sieti.This project includes a basic overview of concepts as is communication, data communication and distributed to systems. Further focuses on the technology use for remote data collection. Part is dedicated PLC technologies, which use systems for remote data collection. The thesis is also mentioned the concept of quality of electrical energy and standard ČSN EN 50160. The main part is focused on the design, implementation and measurement of the PLC network.

MS Office Add-In Module

Tato práce se zabývá problematikou přidání rozšiřujícího modulu do textového procesoru MS Word, tabulkového kalkulátoru MS Excel a nástroje pro tvorbu prezentací MS PowerPoint z kancelářské sady programů MS Office. Modul bude umožňovat komunikaci, synchronizaci a správu dokumentů se vzdáleným privátním úložištěm, které bude podporovat správu verzí. To všechno by mělo fungovat napříč verzemi sady MS Office 2003 (11), 2007 (12) a 2010 (14), případně i 2013 (15). Implementace je realizována pomocí jazyka C# z platformy .NET a PIA (Primary Interop Assemblies), které přidávají podporu pro manipulaci s aplikacemi a objekty sady MS Office.This work deals with the issue of addition of extension module to the text processor MS Word, table calculator MS Excel and tool for presentation creation MS PowerPoint from office set of programs MS Office. Module will support communication, synchronization and management of documents in remote and private storage, with support for version management. This all should work across different versions of MS Office application set. These are MS Office 2003 (11), 2007 (12) a 2010 (14),  possibly even 2013 (15). Implementation is realized using programming language C# from .NET platform and PIA (Primary Interop Assemblies), which adds support for manipulation with applications and objects from MS Office application set.

Individual Professional Practice in the Company

Tato bakalářská práce popisuje průběh odborné praxe ve firmě International Data Corporation (IDC), která je přední světový poskytovatel obchodních informací a poradenských služeb v~oblasti informačních technologií a telekomunikací. V průběhu praxe byly řešeny problémy z~oblasti webových aplikací se zaměřením na implementaci v programovacím jazyce Java. Bylo nutno seznámit se s technologiemi používanými ve firmě, mezi které patří například Apache Maven, PostgreSQL, AngularJS, Spring MVC a další. V rámci praxe jsme byli zapojeni do tří projektů, Edison, Data Warehouse a Kettle Server, které sloužily k analýze velkého množství dat, jejich sběru a transformacím. Tyto projekty byly určeny pouze pro vnitřní potřeby společnosti.This thesis describes the course of professional practice in company International Data Corporation (IDC), which is the world's leading provider of business information and consultancy services in the field of information technology and telecommunications. During practice were solved the problems of web applications with a focus on implementation in the Java programming language. It was necessary to become familiar with the technology used in the company, which include, for example, Apache Maven, PostgreSQL, AngularJS, Spring MVC and others. Within the practice, we have been involved in three projects, Edison, Data Warehouse and Kettle Server, which served to analyze large amounts of data, their collection and transformation. Design of Control System for a Transport System

Import 04/07/2011Cílem této bakalářské práce je návrh řízení převáděcího vozu pro obsluhu 10. koksárenské baterie o 56 komorách v nepřetržitém provozu na Koksovně Svoboda v Ostravě - Přívoz. K řízení převáděcího vozu je použit programovatelný logický automat SIMATIC řady S7-300 s procesorem CPU 315. Analogové vstupy, digitální vstupy a digitální výstupy jsou řešeny distribuovanými I/O řady ET 200s, které komunikují s procesorem prostřednictvím komunikačního protokolu PROFIBUS-DP. Vizualizace je tvořena v programu InTouch a komunikuje s CPU pomocí komunikačního protokolu Industrial Ethernet.The aim of this bachelor thesis is to design a transmitting carriage for operating the 10th coke-oven battery with 56 chambers at a continuously operating Svoboda Coke Plant in Ostrava - Přívoz. A programmable logical controller SIMATIC S7-300 with a CPU 315 processor is used for controlling the transmitting carriage. Analogue inputs, digital inputs and outputs are solved with distributed I/O of ET 200s series, which communicate with the processor using a PROFIBUS-DP communication protocol. Client-Server Application Based on CORBA

Bakalárska práca sa zaoberá problematikou klient-server aplikácií a technológiami používanými na softvérovú implementáciu klient-server aplikácií v programovacom jazyku Java. Cieľom bakalárskej práce je paralelizácia genetického algoritmu pre problém batohu a vytvorenie dvoch distribuovaných modelov pre technológie CORBA a Hessian. V teoretickej časti práce sú popísané základné pojmy týkajúce sa sieťovej komunikácie, vysvetlenie klient-server modelu sieťovej komunikácie, sú rozobraté technológie Java RMI, CORBA a Hessian. V práci je popísaný paralelný a distribuovaný model spracovania dát, genetický algoritmus a jeho využitie na vyriešenie problému naplnenia batohu. V praktickej časti je vytvorený paralelný a distribuovaný model genetického algoritmu pre problém naplnenia batohu s použitím technológií CORBA a Hessian. V práci je spravené porovnanie týchto modelov z hľadiska času výpočtu. Výsledky merania času genetického algoritmu sú v tabuľkách.Bachelor thesis deals with client-server applications and software technologies used to implement client-server applications in the Java programming language. The goal of bachelor thesis is the parallelization of genetic algorithm for knapsack problem and create two distributed models for technology CORBA and Hessian. In the teoretical part of the thesis are describes the basic concept of network communication, explanation client-server model of network communication, there are discussed technologies Java RMI, CORBA and Hessian. In the thesis is described the parallel and the distributed model of data processing, genetic algorithm and its use to solve the knapsack problem. In the practical part is created parallel and distributed model of a genetic algorithm for knapsack problem using technology CORBA and Hessian. In the thesis is done comparison of parallel model and distributed models in terms of calculation time. Results of measurement time are displayed in tables.

Distributed Systems Simulation

Táto práca sa zaoberá modelovaním distribuovaných systémov pomocou Petriho sietí. Distribuované systémy sa stále viac implementujú do aplikácií a výpočtových systémov, pričom ich úlohou je zabezpečiť dostatočný výkon a stabilitu pri veľkom množstve jej používateľov. Pri modelovaní distribuovaných systémov je dôležité stochastické správanie Petriho sietí, ktoré zabezpečí reálnejšie simulácie. Preto sa táto práca zameriava hlavne na časované Petriho siete. V teoretickej časti tejto práce sú zhrnuté distribuované systémy, ich vlastnosti, typy a dostupné architektúry, a tiež Petriho siete, ich reprezentácia, typy a princíp fungovania. V praktickej časti boli implementované dva modely, a to horizontálne škálovaná webová aplikácia rozdelená na viac služieb s distribuovanou databázou a veľký sieťový výpočtový systém, presnejšie platforma BOINC s projektom Folding@home. Oba modely boli implementované pomocou knižnice PetNetSim jazyka Python. Cieľom tejto práce bolo vykonanie simulácií na vytvorených modeloch pre rôzne scenáre ich správania.This thesis is focused on distributed systems modeling using Petri nets. Distributed systems are increasingly being implemented in applications and computing systems, where their task is to ensure sufficient performance and stability for a large number of its users. When modeling a distributed systems, stochastic behavior of Petri nets is important, which will provide more realistic simulations. Therefore, this thesis focuses mainly on timed Petri nets. The theoretical part of this thesis summarizes distributed systems, their properties, types and available architectures, as well as Petri nets, their representation, types and the principle of an operation. In the practical part, two models were implemented, namely a horizontally scaled web application divided into several services with a distributed database and a large grid computing system, more precisely the BOINC platform with the Folding@home project. Both models were implemented using the PetNetSim library of Python. The goal of this thesis is to perform simulations on the created models for different scenarios of their behavior.

Multiplatform communication in access networks

Dizertační práce se zabývá výzkumem zaměřeným na detekce poruchy v bezdrátové přístupové síti pomocí distribuovaných stochastických algoritmů. Byla navržena a simulována nová metoda detekce poruchy na základě algoritmu push-sum. V rámci plnění cílů práce byla komparována statistická kredibilita reprezentanta průměrné rychlosti konvergence protokolu push-sum a vliv ztráty zprávy během výpočtu na robustnost systému uvedený protokol využívající. Na základě získaných poznatků byla prokázána schopnost navržené metody matematicky odvodit odchylky od reálného průměru hodnot v zadané topologii, a tím byla prokázána či vyvrácena existence abnormality v síti.Doctoral thesis deals with failure detection methods in wireless access network using distributed stochastic algorithms. A new method of detecting a fault based on the push-sum algorithm has been designed and simulated. Within the scope of the work objectives, the statistical credibility of the average push-sum protocol convergence rate representative and the effect of message loss during the calculation on the robustness of the system using this protocol were compared. Based on the acquired knowledge, the ability of the protocol to mathematically derive deviations from the real average of the values in the specified topology was demonstrated and thereby the existence of an abnormality in the network has been proved or refuted.

Influence of Attachment Optical Fibers to the Measurements using DTS System.

Import 05/08/2014Bakalářská práce se zabývá využitím optovláknových distribuovaných systémů na měření vlivu různých způsobů uchycení optických vláken. Jako distribuovaný systém byl využit systém, který pracuje na Stimulovaném Brillouinově rozptylu. Tento systém je schopen měřit jak napětí, tak teplotu podél optického vlákna. Cílem této bakalářské práce je zjistit vliv odlišných způsobů uchycení optického vlákna na jeho deformaci. Vliv této deformace byl experimentálně simulován na vyrobeném přípravku na měření v laboratoři přenosových médií fakulty elektroniky a informatiky. Výsledné naměřené hodnoty byly zpracovány do tabulek a grafů.The bachelor thesis focuses on a utulization of Distributed Temperature Sensing Systems for a measurement of different ways in which the optical fibers are attached. Stimulated Brillouin Scattering served as a distributed system for this, because it can measure both the voltage and the temperature along optical fibres. The aim of this bachelor thesis is to ascertain how different ways of attachment of optical fibers influence its distortion. The influence of such a distortion was demonstrated experimentally in the Laborator of Transimission Media which is part of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science on specially made apparatus.
