    Descriptive Study On Destination Image Perception By The Surabaya Domestic Tourists

    Tourist destinations is an important sector role inthe economy. For that a tourist destination should be handled properly in order to meet the expectations of tourists and the community. Indicators that can be used to find out how the performance of tourist destinations is the image of tourism destinations. This study aims to describe how the image of tourists to the city of Surabaya as a tourist destination. Dimensions are used to measure the perceptions of tourists are (1) environmental beauty and convenience, (2) the country’s citizens,(3) place and architectural structure, (4) shopping and tourist accommodation, and (5) local culture and cuisine. The results showed that respondents are divided into 2 based on the perception of the destination image Surabaya city. The most positive image in the dimension of the shopping and accommodation, and the lowest image is the structure of space and architecture. Tourists give the perception that the city of Surabaya has a shopping tour of interesting places to visit, but the historic sights and natural attractions are still not yet become an attractive option to visit

Excellent service dapat diwujudkan melalui penyusunan design service processes yang tepat sehingga service delivery sesuai keinginan pelanggan, pola pikir yang harus ditanamkan adalah tidak melakukan kesalahan dan kegagalan proses. Sebelum melakukan rancangan yang tepat, perlu adanya pemahaman tentang variasi proses informasi proses yang menambah nilai untuk pelanggan, dan klasifikasi proses layanan. Rancangan proses layanan yang tepat harus dapat dievaluasi agar dapat mengendalikan dan melakukan perbaikan untuk itu dibutuhkan beberapa alat dan teknik seperti process mapping, walk-throught audits dan service transaction analysis. Hasil rancangan proses layanan harus memberikan outcome yang konsisten, yaitu dengan evaluasi tentang kehandalan proses. Dua aspek untuk mengendalikan proses yang konsisten adalah penilaian kemampuan proses dan sistem kualitas seperti ISO 9000.     Influence of destination attributes on destination image of Surabaya City according to domestic MICE participants

    This study aims to determine the influence of destination attributes on destination image of Surabaya city according to the domestic MICE participants and also to know the differences in perception concerning the importance of MICE destination attributes based on socio-demographic characteristics of respondents. The study used questionnaire distribution using judgmental sampling technique. The data were processed by multiple regression method to see the influence of destination attributes towards destination images and ANOVA t-test to test the differences in perception. The results indicated that destination attributes have a significant positive influence on the destination image formation of Surabaya City, especially in the attributes of Amenities, Accountability, and Attraction. While the difference when viewed from Cognitive Image and Affective Image test results shows that there are differences in perception among MICE participants on the importance of destination attributes in forming the image of a MICE cit

    Influence of Airqual on Customer Satisfaction and Word of Mouth on Garuda Indonesia Airlines

    This study aims to examine the effect of AIRQUAL (Airline Tangible, Terminal Tangible, and Empathy) on Customer Satisfaction and Word of Mouth at Garuda Indonesia airline. It applies a quantitative method where random samples were respondents who have flown with Garuda Indonesia airline to or through Terminal 3 Soekarno-Hatta Airport Jakarta, Indonesia. Data processing was performed using Structural Equation Modeling with SPSS 23.0 for Mac and AMOS for Windows software. The results showed that airline tangible and empathy were proven to affect customer satisfaction, while terminal tangible did not affect customer satisfaction. Statistical tests also showed that customer satisfaction had a positive effect on word of mouth
