Integrating steepest ascent for the taguchi experiment: A simulation study

Many previous researches conveyed the superiority of Steepest Ascent (SA) method to find the optimal area in Response Surface Methodology (RSM) by shifting the experiment factor level. By using this method, Design of Experiment (DoE) is enabled to shift the factor level gradually in the right track, so that the global optimum can be reached. However, the response variable that is commonly optimized by using RSM cannot fulfill the classical statistics assumption of surface regression model. Taguchi’s orthogonal array, as alternative of RSM, gives loose statistics assumptions in performing the analysis. However, Taguchi’s orthogonal array has not yet been supported to shift the factor level to an optimum direction. Adopting the procedures of RSM in finding the optimal level combination using SA, integrating SA method in the Taguchi experiment is proposed in this paper. This procedure is applied into a simulated response surface. Then, the performance of this procedure is evaluated based on its direction to reach the optimum solution. The simulation data representing the real case is generated for two factors. Then, the proposed procedure is applied. The result of this simulation study shows that the integrated SA method in the Taguchi experiment successfully found the factor level combination that yields optimum response even though it is not as close as possible as the RSM results

Development of Fraction Puzzle Teka-Teki Media to Improve Mathematical Problem-Solving Ability Students in Elementary School

This research examines the development of a media entitled "Fraction Puzzle Teka-Teki" with the aim of improving the mathematical problem-solving abilities of 2nd grade elementary school students. This media is designed with an interactive approach to address issues in mathematics education for students with low problem-solving abilities. This research uses Research and Development research with the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluating) development model. The research subjects were the Tingkir Lor 02 Salatiga State Elementary School, the research samples were 2nd grade elementary school students. Validation results from subject matter experts, media experts, and learning experts indicate very high levels of validity, with scores reaching 91.6%, 93.3%, and 75%, respectively with very high category. Media practicality received a percentage of 88% in the very high category from student responses and 92.5% in the very high category from teacher responses. The implementation of the "Fraction Puzzle Teka-Teki" in education is effective, as evidenced by the improvement in post-test scores for second-grade students. Statistical analysis shows significant results (Sig. [2-tailed] = 0.000 < 0.05), indicating an enhancement in mathematical problem-solving abilities following the use of the developed media. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that "Fraction Puzzle Teka-Teki" is a suitable tool for mathematics education and is effective in enh ancing the mathematical problem-solving abilities of students. indicating an enhancement in mathematical problem-solving abilities following the use of the developed media. Grammatical Cohesion in The Google Adwords Fundamentals

As a leading advertisement product nowadays in internet, Google provides information and tutorial of The Google Adwords Fundamentals of its website. The Google AdWords Fundamentals has to have a good cohesion. In this case, Google should pay attention on the rule of writing, such its grammar, vocabulary used, and the lexical devices. This study aim to find out the types of grammatical cohesion and describe the grammatical cohesion in The Google AdWords Fundamentals. The research of this study is limited to all clause that have types of grammatical cohesion. This research used descriptive qualitative method in order to describe and identify the grammatical cohesive devices used in The Google AdWords Fundamentals. The technique of data analysis in this research was based on Halliday and Hasan (1976) by reading the data, analyzing and classifying the clause into the types of grammatical cohesion, and then drawing conclusion. From the analysis of The Google Adwords Fundamentals, the researcher can conclude that The Google Adwords Fundamentals uses grammatical cohesive devices in constructing the text. Actually grammatical cohesive devices help the readers to easily understand the text in The Google Adwords Fundamentals. The largest grammatical cohesive device number is the Personal References, 555 words (50. 14 %). There are Additive Conjunctions with 209 words (22. 20 %) which means it is the second most used cohesive device in The Google Adwords Fundamentals. The grammatical cohesive devices that occurred in The Google Adwords Fundamentals shows that the Personal References became the primarily use. First because Advertisement Company feels the need of comfortable text and makes the reader feels closer because the Personal Reference points the reader directly. TINJAUAN YURIDIS PELAKSANAAN PERJANJIAN BERBAGAI PIHAK ANTARA CV. SARI REJEKI SUKOHARJO DAN TOKO JEMPOL BARU DALAM USAHA FURNITURE DI SUKOHARJO

Penulisan hukum yang berjudul Tinjauan Yuridis Pelaksanaan Perjanjian Berbagai Pihak Antara CV. Sari Rejeki Sukoharjo dalam Usaha Furniture di Sukoharjo yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui proses perjanjian kerjasama pada CV. Sari Rejeki dengan mitra usaha di Sukoharjo serta untuk mengetahui permasalahan apa yang timbul dalam perjanjian kerjasama CV. Sari Rejeki dengan mitra usahanya, dan bagaimanakah cara mengatasinya. Penulisan hukum ini termasuk penelitian hukum kualitatif dengan mengunakan sumber data primer, sekunder dan tersier, teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian adalah dengan teknik kepustakaan dan lapangan yang terbagi menjadi teknik pengamatan dan wawancara. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan penulis diperoleh pengertian bahwa perjanjian dilaksanakan setelah mencapai kesepakatan antara kedua belah pihak dalam hal ini adalah CV. Sari Rejeki sebagai pihak pertama dan Toko Jempol sebagai pihak kedua, kemudian dituangkan dalam nota kesepakatan atau M.o.U (Master of Understanding). Sedangkan permasalhan yang timbul antara CV. HUBUNGAN POLA ASUH ORANG TUA DENGAN PRESTASI BELAJAR PENDIDIKAN JASMANI SISWA KELAS VI SDN KALIPECABEAN CANDI SIDOARJO

Abstrak Hubungan emosional antara orang tua dan anak akan berpengaruh dalam keberhasilan belajar anak. Biasanya setiap orang tua mempunyai spesifikasi pola asuh terhadap anaknya. Jika orang tua menerapkan pola asuh secara efektif, anak akan tumbuh dengan baik dan mengalami perubahan yang positif pada diri mereka sesuai yang diharapkan sehingga kegiatan atau aktifitas yang dilakukan anak tidak menghawatirkan saat di luar pantauan orang tua. Pola asuh orang tua adalah salah satu faktor dan aspek penting yang dapat mendukung perilaku siswa untuk berprestasi. Pola asuh orang tua juga berpengaruh terhadap pengembangan intelektual siswa. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan antara pola asuh orang tua dengan prestasi belajar pendidikan jasmani siswa kelas VI SDN Kalipecabean Candi Sidoarjo, Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti menggunakan jenis penelitian deskriftif dan desain penelitian yang digunakan korelasional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini siswa kelas 6 yang berjumlah 98. Teknik sampling menggunakan cluster  random sampling, sehingga terpilih kelas VI dengan jumlah sebanyak 34 siswa. Data dalam penelitian ini diambil melalui angket pola asuh dan nilai raport penjas. Analisis data menggunakan koefisien kontingensi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dari sampel yang berjumlah 34 siswa, siswa tergolong dalam tipe pola asuh 3 dengan jumlah sebesar 28 siswa dengan rincian 7 siswa kategori prestasi belajar cukup, 15 siswa kategori prestasi belajar baik, 6 siswa kategori prestasi belajar sangat baik, siswa tergolong dalam tipe pola asuh 2 dengan jumlah sebesar 4 siswa dengan rincian 1 siswa kategori prestasi belajar cukup, 2 siswa kategori prestasi belajar baik, 1 siswa kategori prestasi belajar sangat baik, siswa tergolong dalam tipe pola asuh 1 dan 4 dengan jumlah sebesar 1 siswa dengan rincian 1 siswa kategori prestasi belajar cukup, sedangkan untuk siswa kategori prestasi belajar baik dan sangat baik tidak ada. Kemudian dari analisis koefisien kontingensi didapatkan hasil sebesar 0,362 Jadi tidak terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara pola asuh orang tua dengan prestasi belajar siswa kelas VI SDN Kalipecabean Candi Sidoarjo dengan sumbangan sebesar 1,31% dan sisanya 98,86% dipengaruhi oleh faktor yang lain. Generally, parents have specific parenting behavior toward their children. If they effectively apply the parenting, the child will grow up with good and positive changes in themselves as expected so the activities which children doing outside the parents monitoring will not necessary to be worried. Parenting behavior plays a significant role in supporting student to gain academic achievements. Moreover, parenting behavior also affects the student’s intelligence. The purpose of this study to determine the relationship between parenting behavior with academic achievement of physical students of 6th grades students in SDN Kalipecabean Candi Sidoarjo, In this study, the researcher uses two types of descriptive research and correlational research design. The populations in this study are 98 6th grades students. The sampling technique using cluster random sampling, the 6th C grade which consist of 34 students as the main role. The data in this study were taken through a questionnaire parenting behavior and value report cards. The data analysis is using coefficient of contingency. Based on the results from the sample of 34 students, students are classified into three types of parenting behavior within 28 students,specifyat  7 students in enough of academic achievement category, 15 students are in good academic achievement, 6 students of academic achievement are in excellent category, students are classified into number 2 parenting behavior in the amount of 4 students which are 1 enough in academic achievement, of 2 good academic achievements students, and the last category is the excellent student, the student classified in first and fourth parenting behavior types and 1 student classified as an enough academic achievement, mean while none of them are in good and excellent academic achievements categories. And then the coefficient of contingency analysis results obtained for 0.362. So there is no significant relationship between parenting behavior within 6th grades student’s academic achievementsin SDN Kalipecabean Candi Sidoarjo with a contribution of 1.31% and the remaining 98.86% influenced by other factors. PENGARUH ALOKASI KANAL DAN KARAKTERISTIK SERAT OPTIS TERHADAP BESARNYA EFEK FOUR WAVE MIXING (FWM) DALAM KOMUNIKASI OPTIS

Four Wave Mixing (FWM) adalah efek tidak linear yang paling merugikan dalam sistem Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing (DWDM). Sinyal FWM dapat menyebabkan cakap-silang akibat banyaknya kanal yang disalurkan. Efek FWM adalah munculnya sinyal-sinyal optis baru karena pencampuran sinyal-sinyal optis kuat dengan frekuensi yang berdekatan. Dalam komunikasi optis, besar daya sinyal FWM dipengaruhi oleh pengaturan lokasi dan daya kanal serta karakteristik serat optis yang digunakan. Telah dibuktikan dengan simulasi dalam penelitian ini, bahwa pengaturan jarak antar kanal yang tidak seragam dapat mengurangi terjadinya cakap-silang kanal asli dengan sinyal FWM. Sementara itu penggunaan serat optis dengan nilai mutlak dispersi yang tinggi serta luas efektif inti serat yang cukup besar dapat mengurangi daya FWM yang dibangkitkan. Lakon Babad Wanamarta dalam Upacara Ritual Mapar Tunggak: Proses Dialektika Semesta

AbstractThis paper aims to understand the insight of the Karang Plasa community in facing endemic and crop failure so that they carry out the mapar tunggak ritual ceremony.The ritual ceremony of mapar tunggak held by the Karang Plasa community, Bayat District, Klaten Regency is an interesting cultural event. Based on the phenomenon, it can be assumed as a clean village ceremony, but the ceremony that is held is the mapar tunggak ritual, which is generally used for ceremonies to open new land. Through a hermeneutic phenomenological approach based on mythological-ritual point of view, it was concluded that based on their beliefs, the people of Karang Plasa held a ritual ceremony of mapar tudung and were successful in overcoming disease outbreaks that hit their residents and crop failures they experienced.AbstrakTulisan ini bertujuan memahami wawasan masyarakat Karang Plasa dalam menghadapi endemi dan kegagalan panen sehingga mereka melaksanakan upacara ritual mapar tunggak. Upacara ritual mapar tunggak yang diselenggarakan masyarakat Karang Plasa Kecamatan Bayat Kabupaten Klaten merupakan salah satu peristiwa budaya yang menarik. Berdasarkan fenomenanya dapat diasumsikan sebagai upacara bersih desa, tetapi upacara yang diselenggarakan adalah ritual mapar tunggak yang pada umumnya digunakan untuk upacara membuka lahan baru. Melalui pendekatan fenomenologi hermeneutik yang berlandaskan pemikiran mitologi-ritual diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa berdasarkan keyaninannya, masyarakat Karang Plasa mengadakan upacara ritual mapar tunggak dan ternyata berhasil mengatasi wabah penyakit yang melanda warganya serta kegagalan panen yang dialaminya

PELATIHAN PENGUNAAN E – MODUL BERBASIS STEM PROJECT BASED LEARNING UNTUK MENINGKATKAN BERPIKIR KREATIF PADA SISWA SMP DI KABUPATEN PASURUAN

This community service activity aims to overcome the problems faced by junior high school students at SMP 1 Purwosari, SMPN 1 Purwodadi, SMPN 1 Sukorejo. The problem faced is that students' creative thinking skills are still low. Teachers rarely give project assignments based on everyday problems associated with one of the subject matter being studied in class, as a result students are less challenged by their creative ideas in completing their assignments. The solution offered is to provide training on the use of E-Module based on STEM Project Based Learning to improve creative thinking for Middle School Students in Pasuruan Regency. Based on the results of the community service activities that have been carried out, it can be concluded that there was an increase in thinking ability which was assessed based on the mathematical test of class VIII students of SMP N 1 Purwodadi, Pasuruan Regency totaling 60 students, indicating that the student's completeness score was 88.44%. Based on the test results of SMPN 1 Purwosari students, the student completeness score was 71.9%. Meanwhile, based on tests at SMPN 1 Sukorejo, it was found that the student's completeness score was 83.26%.Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mengatasi permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh siswa SMP di SMP 1 Purwosari, SMPN 1 Purwodadi, SMPN 1 Sukorejo. Adapun permasalahan yang dihadapi adalah kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa masih rendah. Guru jarang memberikan  tugas  proyek  yang  berbasis  pada permasalahan   sehari –hari yang dikaitkan dengan salah satu materi pelajaran  yang dipelajari   di   kelas, akibatnya   siswa   kurang tertantang  ide kreatifnya  dalam  menyelesaikan tugasnya. Adapun solusi yang ditawarkan adalah dengan memberikan pelatihan pengunaan E – modul berbasis STEM Project Based Learning untuk meningkatkan berpikir kreatif pada siswa SMP di Kabupaten Pasuruan. Berdasarkan hasil kegiatan pengabdian yang telah dilakukan maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa adanya peningkatan kemampuan berpikir yang dinilai berdasarkan tes matematis siswa kelas VIII SMP N 1 Purwodadi, Kabupaten Pasuruan berjumlah 60 siswa, menunjukkan bahwa nilai ketuntasan siswa adalah sebesar 88,44%. Berdasarkan hasil tes siswa SMPN 1 Purwosari diperoleh nilai ketuntasan siswa adalah sebesar 71,9%. Sedangkan berdasarkan tes di SMPN 1 Sukorejo diperoleh bahwa nilai ketuntasan siswa adalah sebesar 83,26%

STUDI LITERATUR: Analisis Penetapan Harga Jual Terhadap Kepuasan Konsumen

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memahami strategi dalam penentuan harga jual dengan metode literature review dalam menjalankan usaha. Pada studi literatur penelitian ini, terdapat kegunaan teori dalam aktivitas kewirausahaan. Dalam menjalankan bisnis pentingnya penentuan harga jual dalam pertumbuhan usaha. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan strategi untuk meningkatkan penjualan dalam mempertahankan konsumen ketika permintaan menurun atau meningkat. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini dengan mengidentifikasi cara penentuan harga pokok penjualan untuk harga jual agar mendapatkan kepuasan konsumen. Hasil dari penelitian memperlihatkan bahwa terdapat strategi penentuan harga jual dalam mengelola usaha dapat memberikan kepuasan kepada konsumen sehingga penjualan dapat meningkat. Hasil penelitian ini diharapakan dapat menjadi panduan untuk menjadi strategi bagi semua orang yang mau memulai aktivitas kewirausahaan agar dapat berjalan dengan sempurna.Kata Kunci: Studi Literatur, Penetapan Harga, Kepuasan Konsume
