    In a previous research carried out by the writer, a natural frequency of Grha Sabha Pramana's second floor is 4.7 Hz and shows that the building is not dangerous to take on the load of even up to 5000 people at graduation or wedding ceremonies held at the building. However, with the low natural frequency, does the building meet safety requirements for large numbers of people to sing and dance in? In this research, experiments were carried out on the same floor to obtain a frequency and displacement, by using 35 people to dance to songs of different frequencies. The experiment resulted in a frequency of 4.175 to 4.822 Hz and in the highest dynamic displacement of 3.31cm. This exceeds the allowed maximum displacement of 2.729 cm, while the numeric analysis displacement and calculation at graduations in the previous research reached a maximum of 2.6 cm. Also, there was great concern and uneasiness on the part of the observers and recorders at the time when 35 people were dancing, which resulted in a maximum displacement of 3.31 cm. The concern would rise in the case of increase in numbers of people dancing, to more than 1000 people, on the floor

    Gajah Mungkur Reservoir is designed to storage reservoir for 100 years since the operation in 1982-2082. Currently the sedimentation rate reaches 8 millimeters per year, while the assumption of sediment rate (mud) is only 2 millimeters per year. This research was conducted to save reservoir and river basin environment in Gajah Mungkur Reservoir. This study aims to determine the socio-economic conditions and behavior of people in the Keduang River watershed area. This research also formulates community empowerment model in Keduang River area and recommends grand design management system involving various related parties

    Tax has a siginicant role in achieving the Government budget. Therefore, the government expects the number of personal taxpayer who have already met the subjective and objective requirements will increase. The easiest approach to increase taxpayer is to encourage the employers to require all their employees to register themselves as taxpayer, otherwise the employees will be with held with higher tax rate. On the other side registration of individual who does not have employee status to be personal taxpayer is highly depend on his tax compliance. This research studies the factors of need,convenience, sanction and perception that affect registration compliance of individual. The primary data is obtained through questionnaires with Likert scale from retail traders or small businessmen at traditional market, Menteng Pulo, South Jakarta. Logistic regression is used in this study. The result proves that the need and convenience factors have significant effect on adherence individual to be personal taxpayer. While sanction and perception factors show the opposite. However, all factors simultaneously have significant effect on compliance to personal taxpayer

Faced with these situation, the company must be Able to survive and win the competition by performing measurements include all aspects that are future oriented. Krakatau recently imported a lot of semi-finished slab regarding low price for commercial grade steel. In order to win a competition all the effort was done by continuous improvement to reduce production costs. Steel slab plant is part of an integrated stainless steel production facility of Krakatau play the biggest role of production cost responsibility. It is by the caused of the major metallurgical task to convert iron ore to steel and non-metallic raw material to slag. Secondly steel making consume huge slab of electrical energy to melt the solid material to liquid steel. Excellent strategy and controlling tights will get very high benefit to earn much profit.The final assigment is focused on formulating a production strategy based on market requirements and production cost. Key point to get succesfull implementation of these depends on the top management strategy comitment, the Efforts of socialization, and the participation of all staff and employee.     Application of epoxy resin to make the kitchen tolls holder was investigated. Optimum compound of kitchen tools holder was reached for compound which it consist of epoxy resin : 100 parts, hardener 100 parts, carbon black 50 parts. Applied test in hot water show that the kitchen tools holder from research is better than the kitchen tools holder from markets. INTISARI Telah dilakukan penelitian tentang penggunaan resin epoksi untuk pegangan alat-alat dapur. Formula kompon pegangan alat dapur yang optimum dicapai untuk kompon yang berisi resin epoksi 100 bagian, hardener 100 bagian, dan carbon black 50 bagian. Hasil uji pemakaian dalam air panas menunjukkan bahwa pegangan alat-alat dapur hasil penelitian lebih baik dibandingkan pegangan alat-alat dapur yang ada di pasaran

    PERFORMANCE EVALUATION OF THE IRD RSUP DR. SARDJITO BUILDING TO THE INFLUENCE OF EARTHQUAKE

    In performance-based design, the level of performance of hospital buildings is generally operational, where the buildings are expected to continue to function after the occurrence of the earthquake and do not undergo significant damage. This research evaluates the level of performance suitability of the Emergency Care Installation Buildings of Dr. Sardjito Hospital (hereinafter referred to as IRD RSUP Dr. Sardjito building) for the effects of earthquakes. First evaluation is done by Rapid Visual Screening by FEMA 154 (2002), then continued with more detailed evaluation based on FEMA 310 (1998). The building structure is modeled by SAP2000 and created in 2 models, i.e. the Models with wall and the Models without wall. The earthquake loads refers to SNI 1726-2002. The strength of structural elements is calculated with SNI 2847-2002 and Response-2000. For evaluation of structure performance levels, a pushover analysis used for nonlinear procedures, where the analysis used to the Seismicity region 3 and 4. Performance point is determined by Capacity Spectrum Method based on ATC-40 (1996), which has built-in in the SAP2000 Program. The performance level of the building is determined by drift ratio criteria required by FEMA 356 (2000) as well as ATC-40 (1996). From the research results, it is obtained that the natural period for the Model with wall is 0.592 seconds and 1.687 Hz frequency, and natural period for Model without wall is 1.291 seconds and 0.774 Hz frequency. Therefore, the level of structure performances for earthquake return period of 500 years is immediate occupancy

Raya Solo ?óÔé¼ÔÇ£ Yogya Km. 27 Jambu Kulon, Ceper Klaten adalah sebuah pabrik yang membuat mesin-mesin mekanisasi pertanian khususnya Rice Transplanter. Tahap berikutnya adalah Team Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat Teknik Mesin Universitas PGRI Semarang meninjau kelokasi Mitra 1 untuk menggali permasalahan yang lebih dalam serta pemecahannya. Akhirnya dicapai kesepakatan bahwa untuk Mitra 1 perlu pelatihan dalam perawatan serta opresional mesin Rice Transplanter.     Flowering plants can enhance the population of insect pollinators as well as crop yields. This study was aimed to determine the effect of intercropping between Crotalaria juncea and soybean on the diversity of flower-visiting insects and the role of wild pollinator to yield of soybean. The study was carried out on a single plot, with the treatment: without planting of C. juncea (control), planting of C. juncea surrounds of the soybean field, planting of C. juncea every 5 rows of soybean and planting of C. juncea every 10 rows of soybean. The effect of wild pollinator was identified by bagging the soybean by using insect net. The results revealed that planting of C juncea may increase the diversity of flower-visiting insect. The highest diversity index was 2.37 found on the plot with the planting of C. juncea every 10 rows of soybean. The highest diversity of flower-visiting insect was 18 species found in treatment by planting C. juncea every 5 rows of soybean. Flower-visting insects were dominated by Coccinella transversalis, Apis mellifera, Xylocopa virginica, Megachile parientina, Megachile relativa, Ropalidia fasciata, and Vespa sp. Wild pollinator by the open pollination (without bagging) may increase 30.11% number of pods, 44.63% number of seeds, and 15.44% seed weight per plant, this shows how important the role of wild/insect pollinators
