Ecumenical Rebirth of Vladimir Solovyov after Meeting with Bishop Strossmayer
This article describes Vladimir Solovyov’s spiritual development from the perspective of his views on relations among Christian churches. The text reflects his search for spiritual nature of the world and universal religion, which would roof Christianity. Due to his visions, Solovyov returns from his early tendency to syncretism to Orthodoxy. His meeting with Bishop Strossmyer opened his mind to the importance of the role of the Catholic Church and the papacy considered critically until then. From this moment Solovjov´s Christian identity was open, so that he became a prophet of the ecumenical movement in the 20th century
Creation of thematic map of the specified part of Holštejn locality
Předmětem této bakalářské práce bylo tachymetrické zaměření části lokality v chráněném území Moravského krasu poblíž obce Holštejn. Konkrétně se jednalo o zaměření terénního reliéfu spolu se závrty a vstupy do jeskyní. Na základě tohoto zaměření byla vypracována účelová mapa v měřítku 1:500.The main object of this bachelor thesis is area survey of specific locality in CHKO Moravský kras close to Holštejn. Specifically it was planimetric and altimetric survey along with sinkholes and caves in that area. According to those surveys was made a thematical map in scale 1:500.
Ghost Stories Board Game GUI
Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá návrhem a implementací počítačové verze kooperativní deskové hry Ghost Stories, která umožňuje lokální i síťovou hru. Text práce se postupně zabývá vybranou hrou, jejími pravidly, návrhem aplikace, detaily k implementaci a testování a zhodnocením dosažených výsledků. Výstupem práce je aplikace rozdělená na server a klienta, napsaná v jazyce C++ s využitím knihovny Qt verze 4.8 a její součásti, jazyka QML, pro tvorbu GUI.This bachelor's thesis describes the design and implementation of a PC version of a cooperative board game called Ghost Stories. The resulting application allows for both local and online playing. The text of this thesis details the chosen game and its rules, design and implementation of the application itself, testing and the evaluation of results. The output of this thesis is an application divided into server and client parts, written in C++ using the Qt 4.8 framework and its featured QML language for GUI creation.
Používání opatření omezujících pohyb osob v sociálních službách
The usage of precautions limiting the movement of people in social services carries
with it a risk of abuse and variously intensive interferences in basic human rights and
freedoms. Therefore this situation must be regulated by strict rules. In consideration of the
growing demands on the dignity of the users of the provided services and to the subsequent
harmonization of approaches with European countries there was an accession in May 2005 to
the first legal adjustments of the limits of the restraint of movements of social service users in
the Czech Republic. The next amendment was done via the legal document n.108/2006 Sb., on
social services, in the wording of later directives. Despite these positive trends it is necassary
to state that due to the non-existance of detailed legal regulations the providers are in many
cases in a very difficult situation. That is why it is very important how the providers of the
services deal with their duty – in adjusting via internal directives the conditions of the usage
of precutions limiting the movement of people in particular facilities, where their usage
comes into consideration
Diagnostic of photovoltaic cells by LBIV
Cílem této diplomové práce je seznámení se s metodami měření fotovoltaických článků. Práce se zabývá také nejčastějšími defekty, které vznikají při výrobě fotovoltaických článků, dále je zde navrhnuto a realizováno diagnostické pracoviště používající metodu Light Beam Inducted Voltages (LBIV). Pomocí této metody jsou analyzovány struktury fotovoltaických článků a porovnány s metodou Light Beam Inducted Current (LBIC).This dissertation main point is to take up with fotovoltanic cells metering methods. Dissertation work dwells with the most common defects rising during the fotovoltanic cells manufacturing. Also, there is a diagnosis workshop proposal and realisation. Workshop uses the Light Beam Inducted Voltages (LBIV) method. By the help of this method, fotovoltanic cells structures are analised and compared to the Light Beam Inducted Current (LBIC).
Kratkoročna prognoza vidljivosti određena metodom slučajne šume
Accurate visibility forecasting is essential for safe aircraft operations. This study examines how various configurations of the Random Forest model can enhance visibility predictions. Preprocessing techniques are employed, including correlation analysis to identify fundamental relationships in weather observations. Time-series data is transformed into a regular Data Frame to facilitate analysis. This study proposes a classification framework for organizing visibility data and phenomena, which is then used to develop a visibility forecast using the Random Forest method. The study also presents procedures for hyperparameter tuning, feature selection, data balancing, and accuracy evaluation for this dataset. The main outcomes are the Random Forest model parameters for a three-hour visibility forecast, along with an analysis of errors in low visibility forecasts. Additionally, models for one-hour forecasts and visibility forecasting under precipitation are also examined. The resulting models demonstrate a deterministic forecast accuracy of approximately 78%, with a false alarm rate of around 6%, providing a comprehensive overview of the capabilities of the Random Forest model for visibility forecasting. As anticipated, the model demonstrated limitations in accurately simulating fast radiative cooling or abrupt decreases in visibility caused by precipitation. Specifically, in relation to precipitation, the model achieved an accuracy of 79%, yet exhibited a false alarm rate of 19%. Additionally, this method sets a foundation for enhancing prediction accuracy through the inclusion of supplementary forecast data, while its implementation on real-world datasets expands the reach of machine learning techniques to the members of the meteorological community.Točno predviđanje vidljivosti ključno je za sigurne operacije zrakoplova. Ova studija ispituje kako različite konfiguracije modela slučajne šume (eng. Random Forest) mogu poboljšati predviđanja vidljivosti. Koriste se tehnike predprocesiranja, uključujući analizu korelacije za prepoznavanje temeljnih odnosa u promatranjima vremena. Podaci vremenskih nizova pretvaraju se u redoviti podatkovni okvir kako bi se olakšala analiza. Ova studija predlaže klasifikacijski okvir za organiziranje podataka o vidljivosti i meteoroloških pojava. Taj okvir se zatim koristi za razvoj prognoze vidljivosti korištenjem metode slučajne šume. Studija također prikazuje postupke za podešavanje hiperparametara, odabir značajki, uravnotežavanje podataka i procjenu točnosti za taj skup podataka. Glavni rezultati su parametri modela slučajne šume za trosatnu prognozu vidljivosti te analiza pogrešaka prognoze slabe vidljivosti. Dodatno, ispitani su i modeli za jednosatnu prognozu i prognozu vidljivosti u slučaju oborine. Dobiveni modeli pokazuju točnost determinističke prognoze od približno 78%, uz oko 6% lažnih uzbuna, dajući sveobuhvatan pregled mogućnosti modela slučajne šume za predviđanje vidljivosti. Kao što se i očekivalo, model je pokazao ograničenja pri simulaciji brzog radijacijskog hlađenja i pri naglom smanjenju vidljivosti uzrokovanom oborinama. Naime, u odnosu na oborine, točnost modela je bila 79%, ali stopa lažnih uzbuna iznosila 19%. Dodatno, metoda slučajne šume postavlja temelje za poboljšanje točnosti prognoza uključivanjem dodatnih prognostičkih podataka, dok njezina primjena na skupove realnih podataka proširuje primjenu tehnika strojnog učenja na na meteorološke probleme
The Impact of the pH1 Value and the Length of Carcass on the Quality of Slaughtered Pigs of the Hybrid Combination (CLW x CL) x D
The goal of this thesis was to establish the impact of the pH1 value and the length of carcass on the quality of slaughtered pigs of the hybrid combination (CLW x CL) x D. The slaughtered pigs were divided into four groups depending on the measured pH1. The first group of pigs (n = 18) had pH1 value of less than 6.00, the second group included pigs (n = 53) with its value ranging from 6.00 to 6.20, the third group (n = 76) with pH1 values ranging from 6.21 to 6.40 and the fourth group included the most pigs (n = 103), with an established pH1 value higher than 6.40. The pigs were divided into the three following groups on the basis of carcass length: < 800 mm, 800-900 mm, > 900 mm. An average pH1 value of 6.36 was measured in the monitored group of slaughtered pigs in the present study. PSE defects were established in the meat of 4 dressed carcasses, which was 1.6% of all of the assessed slaughtered pigs. The average length of the dressed carcass in the pigs was determined on the level of 842 +- 4.05 mm. The average slaughter weight of the pigs fell along with increasing measured pH1 value. The highest average price per 1 kg of dressed carcass (44.50 +- 2.29 CZK) was established in pigs, which had a measured pH1 value ranging from 6.21 to 6.40. On the contrary, the lowest average price per 1 kg of dressed carcass (42.49 +- 4.30 CZK) was determined for pigs with the pH1 value of < 6.00. The average slaughter weight of the pigs increased along with the increasing values of the length of the dressed carcass.O
Poética estrutural em movimento: Jan Mukařovský e Roman Jakobson
Há muitas perspectivas que podemos adotar quando escrevemos uma história da teoria e da crítica literárias e, de um modo mais amplo, uma história do pensamento literário. Uma dessas abordagens que considero estimulante é o mapeamento das relações pessoais entre estudiosos de literatura. Este estudo trata da relação entre dois acadêmicos literários: Jan Mukařovský e Roman Jakobson. O estudo analisa as transformações no contexto amplo de suas vidas e obras, mas também no âmbito dos eventos culturais e políticos dominantes durante suas vidas. O ponto central deste estudo é prover uma síntese das bases epistemológicas das poéticas estruturais de Jakobson e de Mukařovský. Os cinco princípios chaves teóricos e metodológicos são: 1) a obra de arte é um fenômeno suis generis; 2) o princípio da parte e do todo; 3) movimento. A literatura está em constante movimento; 4) trabalhar com o material (literário); 5) a obra de arte é um signo. A arte é um sistema de signos. Além disso, este estudo serve não só para ilustrar os altos e baixos de uma amizade, mas também a ascensão e o declínio do estruturalismo – uma das mais proeminentes abordagens da moderna teoria literária.There are many perspectives that we may adopt when writing a history of literary theory and criticism and, in general, a history of literary thought. One of the approaches that I consider stimulating is the mapping of personal relationships between various literary scholars. The study deals with the relationship between two literary scholars: Jan Mukařovský and Roman Jakobson. The study analyses their transformation in the broad context of their life and work, but also in the context of the political and cultural events that took place during their lifetime. The central point of the study is an outline of the epistemological basis of Mukařovský´s and Jakobson´s structural poetics. Five key theoretical and methodological principles are: 1) A work of art is a sui generis phenomenon; 2) The principle of whole and part; 3) Movement. Literature is in constant motion; 4) Working with (literary) material; 5) A work of art is a sign. Art is a system of signs. The study can serve not only to illustrate the rises and falls of one friendship, but also the rises and falls of structuralism – one of the most prominent approaches in modern literary theory
The Prague Linguistic Circle and Dialectics
The study deals with dialectics in the context of the Prague Linguistic Circle, particularly in the context of Jan Mukařovský’s thinking. The essay presents 1) main sources of Mukařovský’s dialectics, and outlines 2) Mukařovský’s dialectical method. The notion of dialectics appears in Mukařovský’s scholarly work in a set of connections. He applied dialectics as a method, manner or form of rationality. It served as a means of gaining knowledge about the world, specific phenomena and objects, their essence, interconnectedness as well as development. Mukařovský also used it as a procedure for resolving contradictions (antinomies) that he encountered in his scientific explorations and in ordinary practical activities. He understood dialectical thinking as dynamic, open, and pluralist thinking striving to reflect reality as a constant process. Gradual coming together of dialectics and materialism, evident in Mukařovský’s scholarly works from the mid-1930s, resulted, ten years later, in a public adoption of dialectical materialism
