    El tratamiento de las fracturas supracondíleas de húmero desplazadas en niños mediante reducción abierta y fijación interna es un procedimiento poco utilizado y que no goza del favor de la mayoría de los cirujanos ortopédicos, debido principalmente a la pérdida permanente de movilidad en el codo que se atribuye a esta técnica. Según algunos autores ésta pérdida es mayor aún si se utiliza un abordaje posterior. Se presenta una importante casuística (100 casos) de fracturas muy desplazadas que han sido tratadas mediante reducción abierta y fijación por vía posterior y revisadas a largo plazo. La rigidez postquirúrgica encontrada es en general leve, e inferior si se utiliza un abordaje quirúrgico que respete la integridad anatómica del músculo tríceps.Treatment of displaced supracondylar fractures of the humerus in children by open reduction and internal fixation is a little-used therapeutic method and ill-advised by many authors owing to permanent stiffness of the elbow using this procedure. An important series of 100 very displaced fractures treated by open reduction and fixation from a posterior approach and is slight and less using a surgical approach which respects the anathomic of triceps muscle

    This work presents efficient algorithms based on Mixed-Integer Linear Programming (MILP) for complex job-shop scheduling problems raised in Automated Manufacturing Systems. The aim of this work is to find alternative solution approaches of production and transportation operations in a multi-product multistage production process that can be used to solve industrial-scale problems with reasonable computational effort. The MILP model developed must take into account; dissimilar recipes, single unit per production stage, re-entrant flows, sequence- dependent free transferring times and load transfer movements in a single automated material-handling device. In addition, logical-based strategies are proposed to iteratively find and improve the solutions generated over time. These approaches were tested in different real-world problems appeared in the surfacetreatment process of metal components in aircraft manufacturing industry.Sociedad Argentina de Informática e Investigación Operativ

    Long range absorption in the scattering of 6He on 208Pb and 197Au at 27 MeV

    Quasi-elastic scattering of 6He at E_lab=27 MeV from 197Au has been measured in the angular range of 6-72 degrees in the laboratory system employing LEDA and LAMP detection systems. These data, along with previously analysed data of 6He + 208Pb at the same energy, are analyzed using Optical Model calculations. The role of Coulomb dipole polarizability has been investigated. Large imaginary diffuseness parameters are required to fit the data. This result is an evidence for long range absorption mechanisms in 6He induced reactions.Comment: 10 pages, 10 figures, minor corrections. To appear in Nucl. Phys.

In the last years, with the growth of medical training on several fronts, the hours devoted to Anatomy practice have been reduced. This reduction has led to dissection giving way to prosection: students do not dissect human bodies but study the morphology of corpses already dissected by another person

    La enseñanza reciente del magisterio en torno a la penitencia Líneas principales y desarrollo orgánico

    Este trabajo tiene como objeto material la enseñanza del magisterio conciliar y postconciliar en torno a la penitencia, término polivalente y de denso contenido semántico (obras penitenciales, ascesis, conversión, reconciliación, Cuarto Sacramento) en el que no raramente se entrecruzan y confunden, incluso en los documentos, los diversos términos y contenidos. A su vez, se pretende formalmente individuar los contenidos más destacados sobre el tema y hacer un seguimiento de su desarrollo, en sus líneas principales, a lo largo de las intervenciones más relevantes de este magisterio universal, para analizar su coherencia y continuidad. El campo de este estudio son las principa les intervenciones del magisterio en torno al tema de la penitencia, desde el Concilio Vaticano II (1962-1965), pasando por Pablo VI y Juan Pablo II, hasta su Carta Apostólica Misericordia Dei (2002), magisterio que levanta su voz desde diversos ámbitos: doctrinal, litúrgica, pastoral, disciplinar. Se utiliza el método de recorrer los principales documentos e intervenciones del magisterio reciente sobre la penitencia, dando una visión con las enseñanzas del magisterio precedente y posterior, esbozando un cuadro de conjunto con el desarrollo orgánico de las líneas maestras de este magisterio, evidenciando sus límites y brillando sus aportaciones más relevantes. No obstante, la recepción de este magisterio ha sido escasa en amplios sectores eclesiales, si bien ha progresado en los últimos años
