Urgensi Asbab Al-Nuzul Ayat-Ayat Ahkam

One way to understand the Al-Quran guidance is using asbab al-nuzul. Fortunately, this approach is not satisfactory for some people, so they start to doubt the importance of it. After the ulum Al-Quran literature survey and also to the related laws, it was found out that it is a necessary to consider the history of Islam/ Arab society as a knowledge in using asbab al-nuzul. The combination of those two knowledge will bring to the true and scientific understanding. Based on both knowledge: the importance of ashab al-nuzul and the laws of ahkam, the knowledge that can be formulated are: knowing the wisdom of the establishment of the laws, avoiding the misunderstanding about the law materials, avoiding the presumption of the laws limitations, justifying the laws according to its purpose, and revealing the hidden statement and meaning of laws

Pengembangan Kepustakaan Islam dengan Dakwah bi al-Qalam

Dokumentasi kepustakaan Islam dalam bentuk tulisan Arab kuno pada awalnya menyulitkan kaum muslimin untuk memahaminya. Perkembangan zaman berdampak pada berbagai kepustakaan tersebut yang memerlukan pemahaman kontekstual agar naskah tersebut dapat tersampaikan secara optimal dan dilaksanakan secara baik sesuai dengan zamannya terutama naskah al-Qur’an. Oleh karena itu, makalah ini akan membahas mengenai kepustakaan Islam dari masa ke masa, dakwah bi al-qalam, dan pengembangan kepustakaan Islam melalui dakwah bi al-qalam. Hal ini menjadi penting sebagai langkah untuk melihat kesusesan literasi Islam di era modern. Ditemukan segenap lembaga keagamaan Islam memegang peranan yang strategis untuk mengembangkan budaya tulis dalam rangka menumbuh suburkan kepustakaan Islam demi tersebarnya syiar dan pemahaman Islam di tengah masyarakat. DEVELOPING VOCABULARY MASTERY THROUGH WORD ASSOCIATION BY THE SECOND YEAR STUDENTS OF SMP MUHAMMADIYAH AL AMIN SORONG

AbstractThis research was conducted with the aim of proving that teaching English through word association can develop the vocabulary of the second year students of SMP Muhammadiyah Al Amin Sorong. The sample of the research was 31 students in VIII A class at SMP Muhammadiyah Al Amin Sorong. In collecting the data he used tests (Pre-test and Post-test). The research applied pre-test and post-test one group design. The instrument of data collection was a test. The data analyzed statistically. The result of the data analysis has shown that there was a significant difference between the results of pre-test and post-test. It was proved through the testing hypothesis, i.e. applying 0.05 level significance with 30 (31-1) the degree of freedom (df), the researcher found that t-test (7.3) was greater than the value of the t-table (1.697). In conclusion, the word association was effective to be used in teaching English Vocabulary.

Critical Information Literacy in the Post-Truth Era: A Strategy for Facing Information Flow in Indonesia

Information literacy in this post-truth era is an important thing that must be understood by the Indonesian society in dealing with the truth and lies of the information obtained. This paper examines through a literature approach about the conception of information literacy in the post-truth era and what strategies must be understood by the information community in Indonesia in dealing with the spread of fake news from various media. This study concludes that critical thinking is an important part of information literacy that must be understood by Indonesian people to face the dynamics of information in the post-truth era. Critical information literacy can help our ability to search, find and use quality information.
