Cámaras de seguridad ciudadana como apoyo para prevenir las conductas punibles en Cartago

El artículo fue realizado en el año 2019 y pretendió identificar la importancia de las cámaras de seguridad ciudadana como apoyo para prevenir y judicializar las conductas punibles en Cartago – Valle del Cauca. Al respecto, fueron consultados diferentes autores que corresponden a la aplicación del tema en una realidad socio jurídica colombiana, como es el caso de los planes de ordenamiento territorial como un trámite administrativo previsto en la ley, que a su vez concibe, la preservación del orden y la prevención de conductas previstas en la Ley, así como la recolección de datos, conforme a las necesidades del municipio y una comparación con modelos internacionales al respecto.This article is a result of research that was conducted in 2019 and aimed to identify the importance of citizen security cameras as a support to prevent and prosecute punishable behavior in Cartago - Valle del Cauca. In this regard, different authors were consulted that correspond to the application of the subject in a Colombian legal and social reality, as is the case of the plans of territorial ordering as an administrative procedure foreseen in the law, which in turn conceives, the preservation of order and the prevention of conducts foreseen in the Law, as well as the collection of data, according to the needs of the municipality and a comparison with international models in this regard

Levaduras aisladas de biofermentos de microorganismos de montaña, una opción para la nutrición vegetal

Introducción. El fósforo y el potasio son nutrientes esenciales para el desarrollo vegetal; pero se encuentran poco disponibles en el suelo, haciendo necesaria la fertilización química o mineral, práctica ineficiente por ausencia de microorganismos solubilizadores. La aplicación de biofermentos de Microorganismos de Montaña (MM) es una alternativa, sin embargo, pocos estudios evidencian el potencial agronómico de las levaduras presentes en MM. Objetivo. Evaluar a nivel in vitro, la capacidad biofertilizante y promotora de crecimiento de levaduras antagonistas aisladas de biofermentos de MM. Materiales y métodos. Esta investigación se desarrolló den el 2019 en la Universidad de Medellín, Colombia. La capacidad biofertilizante se determinó al medir la solubilización de fósforo y potasio en medio sólido mediante halos de solubilización y en medio líquido al cuantificar el fósforo (PS) y potasio soluble (KS) en mg por litro. La actividad promotora de crecimiento, se determinó al cuantificar la producción de indol acético (AIA) de levaduras aisladas de biofermentos de MM. Como prueba adicional, se evaluó la producción de celulasas en medio carboximetil celulosa (CMC). Resultados. En el día seis, se evidenciaron las concentraciones más altas de PS y KS en medio líquido. En agar NBRIP como en caldo con roca P, el aislado GRB-LB05 evidenció un PS de 3,57 mg L-1 diferente a la de control. En agar NBRIP modificado y en caldo con feldespato, GRB-LB01 presentó el menor pH y bajo KS, mientras que, GRB-LB12 (1,32 mg L-1) y GRB-LB02 (1,12 mg L-1) registraron las concentraciones más altas. La levadura GRB-LB06 fue la más promisoria (12 mg L-1) en la producción de AIA, seguida de GRB-LB13. Conclusiones. Las levaduras antagonistas aisladas de biofermentos líquidos de MM mostraron capacidad biofertilizante y promotora del crecimiento, el aislamiento GRB-LB12 (Suhomyces xylopsoci) fue la de mayor solubilización de producción de P, K, AIA y capacidad celulolítica

La Imagen y la Narrativa como Herramientas para el Abordaje Psicosocial en Escenarios de Violencia Municipios de Medellín, Carmen de Viboral y Manizales, Colombia; Alaejos Valladolid, España

Colombia históricamente ha vivido escenarios de violencia principalmente en relación con el conflicto armado que ha sumido al país en una permanente zozobra y dolor, especialmente en las comunidades rurales, las más vulnerables y olvidadas por el Estado. La violencia en Colombia es una experiencia que lleva décadas afectando a personas que viven el conflicto como si fuera inherente a sus vidas. En esta fase del diplomado, se realizó un acercamiento a dos herramientas para el abordaje psicosocial en escenarios de violencia: la imagen y la narrativa, ambas con un significativo poder de exhortación social que permiten difundir, explicar, discernir y crear conciencia para una mayor comprensión, análisis y evaluación de los orígenes, mantenimiento e implicaciones potenciales de este fenómeno social. La acción superlativa de la imagen y la narrativa a la hora de comunicar el mensaje y crear inquietud en la comunidad, tienen un valor inconmensurable dentro del propósito de lograr un cambio manifiesto, transformación y empoderamiento en la comunidad, logrando explicar de múltiples maneras lo que es la violencia en esencia, esperando producir manifestaciones de empatía y dolor social, favoreciendo el sentido de pertenencia con quienes sufren las injusticias y flagelos del conflicto armado. Estas herramientas permiten tener un conocimiento más realista y certero frente a esta situación al hacer múltiples contrastes, al exponer el conflicto desde diversas perspectivas propias y ajenas, brindando una amplia idea de lo que implica esta realidad, la cual cotidianamente vemos desde una óptica personalista, pero que se hace necesario asimilarla desde nuevas perspectivas que permitan concebirla a partir de la participación permanente de la comunidad y del planteamiento de posibles alternativas de solución en beneficio principalmente de las víctimas. Por ello es importante reconocer el alcance de la imagen y la narrativa para el abordaje psicosocial en escenarios de violencia.Colombia has historically experienced scenes of violence mainly in relation to the armed conflict that has plunged the country into permanent anxiety and pain, especially in rural communities, the most vulnerable and neglected by the State. Violence in Colombia is an experience that has affected people for decades who experience the conflict as if it were inherent to their lives. In this phase of the diploma, an approach was made to two tools for the psychosocial approach in scenarios of violence: the image and the narrative, both with a significant power of social exhortation that allow disseminating, explaining, discerning and creating awareness for a greater understanding, analysis and evaluation of the origins, maintenance and potential implications of this social phenomenon. The superlative action of the image and the narrative when it comes to communicating the message and creating concern in the community, have an immeasurable value within the purpose of achieving a manifest change, transformation and empowerment in the community, managing to explain in multiple ways what it is violence in essence, hoping to produce manifestations of empathy and social pain, favoring the sense of belonging with those who suffer the injustices and scourges of the armed conflict. These tools allow us to have a more realistic and accurate knowledge of this situation by making multiple contrasts, by exposing the conflict from different perspectives of our own and others, providing a broad idea of what this reality implies, which we see daily from a personal perspective. But that it is necessary to assimilate it from new perspectives that allow to conceive it from the permanent participation of the community and the approach of possible alternative solutions for the benefit mainly of the victims. For this reason, it is important to recognize the scope of the image and the narrative for the psychosocial approach in scenes of violence

Rituximab for Remission Induction and Maintenance in Refractory Systemic Lupus Erythematosus

Systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) is a chronic inflammatory autoimmune disease with high morbidity if untreated. Sometimes, despite aggressive treatments, the disease remains active with cumulative organic damage. We conducted a retrospective and descriptive observational study of patients with SLE refractory to conventional treatment who were treated with rituximab (RTX) as remission induction therapy and maintenance. There was a significant reduction in the conventional immunosuppressive drug dose and the number of relapses of disease. RTX appeared to be effective and safe for the induction and maintenance of remission in patient with SLE refractory to conventional treatment

Contribución al desarrollo social a través de la extensión universitaria

La Universidad Tecnológica de Pereira (UTP), a través de la Vicerrectoría de Investigaciones Innovación y Extensión, busca promover la extensión universitaria como una estrategia que permite el intercambio, la aplicación y la integración del conocimiento científico, tecnológico, artístico y cultural; al igual que la vinculación con la realidad social, cultural, económica y productiva de la región y del país, al darle valor a las capacidades institucionales y al generar una articulación e integración entre la docencia y la investigación, la cual permita la identificación de problemáticas y la propuesta de alternativas de solución; además de las oportunidades en el sector externo para realizar intervenciones y alianzas que conduzcan a fortalecer y aportar al desarrollo económico, cultural y el bienestar de la comunidad en general. En este sentido, para el año 2018 se ofertó, a los miembros de la comunidad universitaria, la «Convocatoria interna para la financiación de proyectos de extensión social, cultural y artístico» cuya ejecución se realizaría en el año 2019 y cuyo objetivo era fomentar el desarrollo de proyectos de carácter social, cultural, artístico, los cuales permitieran la solución y transformación de problemáticas que involucraran o beneficiaran sectores de diferentes comunidades. En esta convocatoria fueron financiados catorce proyectos que involucran a diferentes estamentos de la sociedad civil en torno al planteamiento y a la discusión de problemáticas, conflictos y sus posibles soluciones, así como a la identificación de oportunidades de progresos tecnológicos, ambientales, educativos o de creación artística, los cuales involucren o beneficien sectores de diferentes comunidades

The Research Journey as a Challenge Towards New Trends

The academic community of the department of Risaralda, in its permanent interest in evidencing the results of the research processes that are carried out from the Higher Education Institutions and as a product of the VI meeting of researchers of the department of Risaralda held in November 2021 presents its work: “The journey of research as a challenge towards new trends”, which reflects the result of the latest research and advances in different lines of knowledge in Agricultural Sciences, Health Sciences, Social Sciences and Technology and Information Sciences, which seek to solve and meet the demands of the different sectors. Amor, empatía y conductas prosociales: una reflexión interdisciplinaria

This book presents, through reflection, the relevance, timeliness and necessity of love, empathy and prosocial behaviors within the framework of the professional and disciplinary work of the authors. The reader will be able to find here what these professionals, academics and intellectuals think and feel about it. Let the reader know that it was not a simple writing project, maybe because of the invitation to think about oneself, maybe because of the presence of the concept of "love" in the academy, or maybe, because we are not so accustomed to putting in the first person the reflection turned from what we relate to day by day.
