    Proposta de uma plataforma de integração para a administração pública

    Neste artigo propomos uma plataforma genérica para a integração de serviços na administração pública. Trata-se de uma plataforma simples, versátil e segura, que se baseia em tecnologias normalizadas e facilmente disponíveis, como sejam o XML (Extensible Markup Language), o HTTP (Hypertext Transfer Protocol), o SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) e o PKI. (Public Key Infrastructure). A plataforma facilita a integração na administração pública tanto por via da coordenação de serviços no front-office como por via da integração de processos no back-office; suporta o desenvolvimento de balcões únicos de acesso, reais ou virtuais; e permite a prestação concorrente de serviços, a organização por acontecimentos da vida, a existência de prestadores concorrentes e a integração de diferentes canais de atendimento

    There are manifold contributions from educational research about the concept of professional teaching models. Particularly, in mathematics education there exist a good number of models that ultimately organize the evidence for the effective, successful and quality performance in the teaching / learning processes by the teacher.Across this work we identify patterns of evolution in research around the polyhedric concept of professional teaching model, with special attention to their behaviors in the field of mathematics education. Using techniques of science mapping, in particular the co-citation and similarity analysis (rarely explored research techniques in the field of research that concerns us), we study its dynamic complexity, and propose to read the patterns in a spiral way, that departs from the professional teaching models (theoretical and traditional) and goes to the more intimate characterization of teachers, passing through their relationship with the student, the academic community, the epistemology, and the educational system. The use of diverse methodological techniques grants trustworthiness, integrity and reliability to the research and allows not to answer only effectively to the questions under investigation but to provide with "rigour" to the intellectual exercise.Son múltiples las aportaciones realizadas en la investigación educativa alrededor del concepto de modelo competencial profesional docente. En particular, en educación matemática existe un buen número de modelos que dan cuenta, en última instancia, de la actuación efectiva, exitosa y de calidad del docente en los procesos de enseñanza/aprendizaje.A través de este trabajo identificamos patrones de evolución en investigación en torno al poliédrico concepto de modelo profesional docente, con especial atención a sus comportamientos en el ámbito de la educación matemática. Gracias a las técnicas del mapeo de la ciencia, y muy especialmente al análisis de co-citación y similitud (técnicas de investigación poco exploradas en el campo de investigación que nos ocupa), podemos aproximarnos a su dinámica complejidad y proponemos, como resultado, una lectura en espiral que parte de los modelos profesionales docentes (teórico-tradicionales) y va hasta la caracterización más íntima del docente, pasando por su relación con el estudiante, la comunidad académica, la epistemología y el propio sistema educativo.El uso de diversas técnicas metodológicas otorga integridad y conconfiabilidad a la investigación, y permite no solo responder eficazmente a las preguntas de investigación sino dotar de “rigor” al ejercicio intelectual

    A Specification Language for Performance and Economical Analysis of Short Term Data Intensive Energy Management Services

    Requirements of Energy Management Services include short and long term processing of data in a massively interconnected scenario. The complexity and variety of short term applications needs methodologies that allow designers to reason about the models taking into account functional and non-functional requirements. In this paper we present a component based specification language for building trustworthy continuous dataflow applications. Component behaviour is defined by Petri Nets in order to translate to the methodology all the advantages derived from a mathematically based executable model to support analysis, verification, simulation and performance evaluation. The paper illustrates how to model and reason with specifications of advanced dataflow abstractions such as smart grids

    El papel del "rigor" en la investigación cualitativa en educación matemática

    En este trabajo se hacen explícitas las estrategias y técnicas procedimentales utilizadas para dotar de rigor una tesis doctoral desarrollada en la Universidad de Valladolid. Dicha tesis doctoral centra su atención en el estudio de los modelos de excelencia docente, tanto desde una perspectiva deductiva, como desde una inductiva. Para su desarrollo metodológico, se ha decidido configurar un procedimiento innovador que tiene en cuenta tradiciones de investigación cualitativa como la teoría fundamentada (Corbin y Strauss, 1994), así como algunas técnicas bibliométricas apenas exploradas en la investigación en Educación Matemática, tales como el Science Mapping (Small, 1997). Específicamente, se ha utilizado el análisis de co-citación y similitud (Gmür, 2003; White y McCain, 1998) para la creación de redes que evidencien patrones de evolución alrededor del concepto de la excelencia docente

    Using transparent WDM metro rings to provide an out-of-band control network for OpenFlow in MAN

    OpenFlow is a protocol that enables networks to evolve and change flexibly, by giving a remote controller the capability of modifying the behavior of network devices. In an OpenFlow network, each device needs to maintain a dedicated and separated connection with a remote controller. All these connections can be described as the OpenFlow control network, that is the data network which transports control plane information, and can be deployed together with the data infrastructure plane (in-band) or separated (out-of-band), with advantages and disadvantages in both cases. The control network is a critical subsystem since the communication with the controller must be reliable and ideally should be protected against failures. This paper proposes a novel ring architecture to efficiently transport both the data plane and an out-of-band control network.The authors would like to acknowledge the support of the Spanish projects CRAMnet (grant no.     Neurostigma xanthopterum New, 1980 (Psocodea: Psocoptera: Epipsocidae): updated diagnosis, description of a female specimen, morphological variations and a checklist of all known species of the genus

    The holotype of the Neurostigma xanthopterum New, 1980 is here illustrated based on photographs. We also describe and illustrate a previously unknown female individual that is assigned to this species. New records for five localities in the Brazilian state of Amazonas, one in the Brazilian state of Acre and another in the Brazilian state of Amapá, are presented. The mouthparts of both sexes are here describe and illustrate. Thirteen types of variation and anomalies in the fore-hindwing veins were found. We found unique patterns in the number and shape of transverse veins in the pterostigma between individuals. We also identified a large variation in the denticles present in the lacinia. Therefore, we suggest these variable characteristics (fore-hindwing veins and lacinia denticles) are not to be used for the diagnosis of species of this genus. A revised diagnosis of N. Xanthopterum is also presented

    Troubleshooting PON networks effectively with carrier-grade ethernet and WDM-PON

    WDM-PONs have recently emerged to provide dedicated and separated point-to-point wavelengths to individual optical network units. In addition, the recently standardized Ethernet OAM capabilities under the IEEE 802.1ag standard and ITU-T Recommendation Y.1731, together with state-of-the-art optical timedomain reflectometry provide new link-layer and physical tools for the effective troubleshooting of WDM-PONs. This article proposes an integrated troubleshooting box (ITB) for the effective combination of both physical and link-layer information into an effective and efficient set of management procedures for WDM-PONs. We show its applicability in a number of realistic troubleshooting scenarios, including failure situations involving either the feeder fiber, one of its branches, or even Ethernet links after the ONU.The authors would like to acknowledge the support of the CRAMnet project, funded by the Spanish government under grant no.
