A magyarországi közművállalatok tehernövekedését eredményező állami intézkedések hatása.
elvonási arányok negatív irányba történő megváltoztatása, a jövőben fenntarthatatlan működésre kényszerítheti ezeket a vállalkozásokat
Complementing antibody profiles: Assessing antibody function on antigen microarrays
Antibody effector functions other than neutralization depend on
interactions with soluble and cellular components of the immune
system. Antigen recognition is usually oligoclonal, with the
different clones of antibodies belonging to different classes,
subclasses, glycoforms and having different affinities and
epitope specificities. Thus, composition of immune complexes
determines biological effects mainly via interactions with FcR
and complement proteins. Antibodies are capable of triggering
any of the three pathways of complement activation and antigen
recognition of complex antigens often results in the activation
of more than one pathway. These events can be tracked in a
multiplex format using antigen microarrays, where complement
products bind to elements of the microarray. By controlling
cation concentrations and detecting various complement
components (C1q, C4, C3) contribution of the different pathways
can be identified. Parallel measurement of antibodies and
complement proteins provides a novel way of looking at
interactions between antigen and antibodies. We propose the use
of immune complex signatures, composite depictions of antibody
and complement content of immune complexes characterizing
healthy and diseased populations. Normalized interquartile
ranges of antibody binding (IgM, IgG) and complement deposition
(C4, C3) are projected onto radar charts to produce patterns
that can distinguish normal and altered immune responses. We
propose that comprehensive interaction studies of serum
antibodies and complement with arrays of antigens can generate
functional antibody profiles and help better understand
immunological disease mechanism
Kvantumszíndinamikai effektusok vizsgálata relativisztikus nehézion ütközésekben = Study of QCD effects in relativistic heavy ion collisions
Nagyenergiás nehézion ütközésekben kikerülhetetlen a kvantum színdinamika (QCD) alkalmazása a kvarkok és gluonok alkotta kollektív állapotok tulajdonságainak megértésében és az anyag új halmazállapotának, a kvark-gluon plazma megjelenésének tanulmányozásában. A kutatási tervünk végrehajtása során perturbatív és nem-perturbatív QCD-alapú modelleket felhasználva, megvizsgáltuk a nehézion ütközésekben létrejövő erősen kölcsönható anyag tulajdonságait; a gluonokra vonatkozó tömeg-ugrás kialakulását a QCD-ben; a partonok koaleszcenciáját alacsonyabb és magasabb impulzusok esetén; a proton-atommag és az atommag-atommag ütközésekben fellépő nukleáris effektusokat; a jet-tomográfia módszerének alkalmazhatóságát különböző nehézion ütközésekben; a di-hadron korrelációk tulajdonságait p+p ütközésben; részecske keltési folyamatokat időfüggő intenzív ábeli és nem-ábeli terek jelenlétében. Ezek az elméleti vizsgálatok szorosan kapcsolódtak a RHIC gyorsító mellett elvégzett kísérletekhez, de független elméleti eredményeknek is tekinthetőek. Kidolgoztunk egy perturbatív-QCD alapú modellt, amelyet RHIC energián széles körben alkalmaztunk a mért adatok vizsgálatára és jóslatokat készítettünk LHC energiára pp, dPb és PbPb ütközések esetére. Eredményeinket 38 cikkben foglaltuk össze, amiből 27 jelent meg referált folyóiratban. Ezekre eddig 410 független hivatkozás érkezett. | In ultrarelativistic heavy ion collisions the theory of quantum chromodynamics (QCD) should be applied to understand collective phenomena of interacting quarks and gluons, especially the formation of quark-gluon plasma (QGP), this new state of the matter. In our research activity we used perturbative and non-perturbative QCD-based modells and methods to investigate the properties of strongly interacting matter formed in heavy ion collisions; the generation of gluonic mass-gap in QCD; the coalescence of partons at low and high momenta as hadronization mechanism; the appearance of nuclear effects in proton-nucleus and nucleus-nucleus collisions; the application of jet-tomography method for different heavy ion collisions; the basic characteristics of the di-hadron correlation in proton-proton collisions; particle production in time-dependent intensive abelian and non-abelian fields. These investigations have been strongly connected to the results of heavy ion experiments at the RHIC accelerator, although they can be considered as independent theoretical results. We have developed perturbative QCD-based parton model and performed different theoretical calculations to reproduce existing RHIC results and to prepare predictions for LHC energies in pp, dPb and PbPb collisions. We summarized our results in 38 papers, 27 papers have been published in refereed journals. So far we have received 410 independent citations on these publications
A fejlesztés iránt a MÁV is érdeklődik. Cikksorozatunk első részében a tervezett rendszer koncepcióját mutatjuk be
Freeing the hamstrung economy
The biggest problem of the Hungarian economy is that the heavily taxed white economy and the grey economy, which optimises tax payment by reducing it to the minimum, hamstring each other: “due to the funding needs of public expenditures that are excessive compared to the performance of the economy, high personal income tax and contributions should be paid. However, the SME sector is uncompetitive with prices that include all taxes and public dues payable on the wages of employees as required by law. Overtaxed households are also unable to pay for goods and services produced in the grey economy the price that includes all taxes and contributions! On top of that, those layers of the society that are unable to avoid tax payment must be heavily taxed because of the excessive size of the grey economy, the players of which hardly pay any taxes. And the grey economy is so swollen because of the unbearably high tax and contribution burdens!” (József Papp, 2006) Being so hamstrung makes the Hungarian economy uncompetitive and unable to grow
