The topic of this bachelor thesis is processing of a project documentation of a new Energy efficient family house. The new family house is located in Šternberk. The object is designed as two-floor house, partly with a cellar in the rectangular shape. The house is covered with a grable roof and a garage next to the house with a mono-pitched roof. Facade of house is white with decorative of elements stone veneer. The construction is made from ceramic blocks and basement is made from permanent formwork.

What's next for the European coal heartland? Exploring the future of coal as presented in German, Polish and Czech press

    Get PDF
This article addresses the future of coal in the European coal heartland, i.e. in the area of Germany, Poland and the Czech Republic, which together account for nearly 57% of coal consumption and 87% of coal-mining jobs in the EU. It approaches the problem within the interpretative tradition of social research and explores the coverage of the future of coal in major newspapers and political magazines in the three countries. The results show that despite similar material conditions, the issue is presented in a fundamentally different manner as the media tend follow the dominant energy policy paradigm in their countries: in Germany, they facilitate the phase-out policies; in Poland, they act as an inhibiting factor; while in the Czech Republic, their coverage echoes the political uncertainty around lignite mining in the northwest part of the country. The results also suggest that the media act mainly as a platform for the countries’ decision makers and energy policy stakeholders to voice their perspectives. The prevalent media coverage thus simultaneously enable and constrain policy options by promoting dominant discourses and preventing alternative views from surfacing

Cutting Force When Machining Hardened Steel and the Surface Roughness Achieved

This article deals primarily with the problem of determining the cutting force when machining hardened steels. For this study, the steel used was 100 Cr6, number 1.3505. The secondary aspects of the study focused on the evaluation of the surface quality of machined samples and the recommendation of cutting conditions. A wide variety of components are used in engineering, the final heat treatment of which is hardening. These components are usually critical in a particular product. The quality of these components determines the correct functioning of the entire body of technical equipment, and ultimately, its service life. In our study, these are the core parts of thrust bearings, specifically the rolling elements. The subject of this experiment involves machining these components in the hardened state with cubic boron nitride tools and the continuous measurement of the cutting force using a dynamometer. The machining is carried out on a conventional lathe. A total of 12 combinations of cutting conditions were set. Specifically, for three cutting speeds of 130, 155 and 180 m·min1, the feed rates of 0.05 and 0.1 mm·rev1 and the cutting widths of 0.2 and 0.35 mm, were evaluated The evaluation assessed the surface quality by both touch and non-touch methods. A structural equation with the appropriate constants and exponents was then constructed from the data obtained using the dynamometer. The experiment confirmed the potential of achieving a value of the average arithmetic profile deviation Ra in the range of 0.3–0.4 when turning hardened steels with cubic boron nitride

Osička, J. Tax literacy of the population of the Czech Republic. Bachelor thesis. Brno: Mendel University, 2023. The bachelor thesis deals with the tax literacy of the population of the Czech Republic. In the literature search the concepts of literacy and functional literacy are discussed. The text then moves on to more specific terms such as economic and tax literacy. For tax literacy, research that has been conducted on this topic in the past is described. The practical part of the text deals with a questionnaire survey that was conducted to investigate the tax literacy of the population. The methodol- ogy of the survey and the subsequent statistical evaluation of the data obtained from the respondents are described. Finally, the hypotheses are tested to identify the factors affecting tax literacy, together with the formulation of recommenda- tions on how the level of tax literacy can be improved
