The scholastic direction before the challenge of the diversity

El trabajo que presentamos está centrado en el estudio de la función directiva ante el reto quela Atención a la Diversidad plantea a los centros educativos. Realizamos un estudio teórico sobre elenfoque democrático, comprensivo e inclusivo, por ser desde estas ideas donde la Atención a laDiversidad adquiere significado. Relacionamos a continuación estos enfoques con el ejercicio de lafunción directiva, a la que en la actualidad se plantean retos fundamentales, que hemos organizadoen torno a dos situaciones de análisis, por una parte, promover la atención a la diversidad desde elgobierno de los centros, a través de la participación de los distintos sectores que constituyen lacomunidad educativa, y por otra, orientar la autonomía de los centros hacia el compromiso con ladiversidad.A continuación, presentamos el desarrollo de una investigación realizada en centros edu-cativos, centrada en el estudio de la dirección actual, en sus necesidades, dualidades e incertidum-bres, ante el reto que supone para los centros educativos atender a la diversidad. Presentamos el dise-ño de la investigación realizada, la metodología utilizada, el análisis de los datos, los resultados obte-nidos, la discusión de los resultados y las conclusiones que se desprenden del estudio realizado.The work that we present is focussed on the study of the function of management as itfaces the challenge that the Attention to Diversity raises at school.We made a theoretical study concerning the comprehensive and inclusive democratic approaches, as it is from these ideasthat the Attention to the Diversity acquires meaning. Next, we related these approaches to thepractice of the function of management, which currently has fundamental challenges to consider.We have organized these challenges around two situations of analysis: on the one hand, to promotethe attention to diversity from the government of the schools, through the participation ofthe different sectors that constitute the educational community, and on the other hand, toorient the autonomy of the schools toward the commitment to diversity. Next, we present the development of an investigation done at schools, focussed on the study of the presentmanagement, on its needs, dualities and uncertainties, as schools face the challenge that attentionto diversity presents. We present the design of the investigation, the methodology used, theanalysis of the data, the results obtained, the discussion of the results and the conclusionsmade from the study

Metodologías activas y participativas en la educación superior. Estudio de casos

Este trabajo recoge los resultados obtenidos en la 1ª fase de un Proyecto de Innovación en curso, que está centrada en el estudio de casos. El objetivo principal del proyecto es aplicar metodologías activas y participativas en el proceso de enseñanzaaprendizaje de las especialidades del título de maestros. El marco teórico está referido al estudio de casos concebido como estrategia didáctica. En el diseño de la investigación presentamos los objetivos propuestos, la metodología, donde la estrategia de investigación seguida es la triangulación de los datos, el análisis y la presentación de los resultados, su discusión y las conclusiones obtenidas.Estudio de casos, educación superior, investigación educativa, metodología activa, metodología participativa.This work picks up (collects) the results obtained in 1ª (the first phase) phase of a Project of Innovation in course, that is centered in the study of cases. The primary target of the project is to apply active and participating/ participative methodologies in the process of education-learning of the specialties of the title of teachers (specialization areas of the degree in education). The theoretical frame is referred to in the study of cases and it is conceived as a didactic strategy. Income satisfaction and deprivation in Spain

The first objective of our paper is to identify the determinants of income satisfaction in Spain, with one of these being relative deprivation, and the second is to measure this relative deprivation, in both monetary and satisfaction terms. To that end, we use data from the eight waves of the Spanish section of the European Community Household Panel (1994-2001). With respect to the first objective, we estimate models for categorical variables in order to test whether subjective satisfaction measures depend on relative deprivation, as well as on other determinants. As for the second objective, we first calculate inequality and polarization indices and then we specifically analyze whether the Spanish tax-benefit system helped to reduce individual deprivation. Our results suggest that the more unequal the income distribution is in a group, the less income satisfied is the individual. Moreover, being unemployed is one of the main determinants of deprivation, although public transfers help to reduce individual deprivation. When we observe the amount of public transfers received, deprivation is reduced up to a certain threshold, beyond which it continues to decline, but at a lower rate

Analysis of educational inclusion from the perspective of teachers of early childhood education, elementary, secondary and high school in the spanish educational context

Este trabajo se inscribe en una investigación sobre la inclusión escolar y sus implicaciones para la educación. El objetivo principal es conocer las opiniones del profesorado sobre la educación inclusiva y sus necesidades formativas para determinar algunos indicadores de calidad que orienten la formación en clave de inclusión. La metodología es básicamente descriptiva, se apoya en la utilización de un instrumento estructurado, un cuestionario, cercano a un enfoque de investigación cuantitativo y una entrevista, más próximo a un enfoque cualitativo de investigación. El análisis de los datos, la discusión de los resultados y las conclusiones permiten realizar algunas propuestas educativas para orientar la formación del profesorado en clave de inclusión.This work is part of an investigation about school inclusion and its implications for education. The main objective is to obtain the views of teachers regarding inclusive education and their training needs in order to determine some quality indicators to guide proper training with a sense of inclusion. Basically, the methodology is descriptive; it relies on using a structured instrument, a questionnaire drafted as a quantitative approach of investigations and an interview, based on a qualitative approach to investigation. Analysis of data, discussion of results and conclusions obtained enable us to recommend some educational proposals in order to lead teacher apprenticeship towards school inclusion

Aproximación al estudio de la hermandad general bajo los Reyes Católicos en Sevilla y su tierra (1477-1498)

El Ordenamiento de las Cortes de Madrigal, promulgado el 19 de abril de 1476 en los albores del reinado de Isabel I, supuso el nacimiento de una nueva Hermandad general. El presente artículo aborda la difícil introducción de esta organización en Sevilla y su tierra a causa de la oposición de Enrique de Guzmán, duque de Medina Sidonia. En una segunda parte, estudia la financiación de dicha institución, tanto en la ciudad, como en su alfoz: las sumas aportadas y los diferentes mecanismos impositivos empleados. Finalmente, analiza las funciones militares, policiales y judiciales, así como los salarios, de los miembros de la Hermandad sevillana pertenecientes a su aparato central, provincial y local. Para todo ello, se han utilizado como principales fuentes las Actas Capitulares de los cabildos municipales y los Papeles del Mayordomazgo del concejo hispalense que se conservan en el Archivo Municipal de Sevilla, y las misivas reales del Tumbo de los Reyes Católicos.The Ordinance of the Cortes of Madrigal, promulgated on 19th April 1476, at the beginning of the reign of Isabel I, gave rise to the birth of a new Hermandad General. This article begins with the study of the initial dif- fi culties encountered by the Hermandad in Seville because of the opposition of Enrique de Guzmán, Duke of Medina Sidonia. It continues with the study of the fi nancing of the institution – donations and taxes – both in Seville and its surrounding territory (alfoz). The fi nal section comprises an analysis of the military, law enforcement and judicial functions, and salaries, of the members of the central, provincial and local governing bodies of the Hermandad. The documentary sources for this paper have been the Actas Captiulares and the Papeles del Mayordomazgo, kept in the City Archives of Seville, and the royal missives from the Tumbo de los Reyes Católicos
