Analizar el impacto de la adopción o convergencia por primera vez de la NICSP 17, propiedad planta y equipo en la entidad gubernamental -FINANDENA-, de acuerdo con los estados financieros de la vigencia fiscal 2012

Esta investigación ha tenido como objetivo analizar el impacto de la adopción o convergencia de las Normas Internacionales de Contabilidad para el Sector Público NICSP No 17 - Propiedad Planta y Equipo, en la Entidad Financiera de Desarrollo Nacional- FINANDENA con información del balance a 31 de diciembre de 2012. Para ello, se indago acerca de las normas internacionales, su definición, características, aplicabilidad y finalmente como se adoptó en la Entidad, a través de un comparativo de las normas actuales para el manejo de Propiedad Planta y Equipo COLGAAP, comparando con las NICSP-17.FINDETER S.A.This research has been aimed at analyzing the impact of the adoption or convergence of International Accounting Standards IPSAS Public Sector No 17 - Property, Plant and Equipment, at the National Development Financial Institution-FINANDENA with balance sheet information at December 31/2012. GP-Unet: Lesion Detection from Weak Labels with a 3D Regression Network

We propose a novel convolutional neural network for lesion detection from weak labels. Only a single, global label per image - the lesion count - is needed for training. We train a regression network with a fully convolutional architecture combined with a global pooling layer to aggregate the 3D output into a scalar indicating the lesion count. When testing on unseen images, we first run the network to estimate the number of lesions. Then we remove the global pooling layer to compute localization maps of the size of the input image. We evaluate the proposed network on the detection of enlarged perivascular spaces in the basal ganglia in MRI. Our method achieves a sensitivity of 62% with on average 1.5 false positives per image. Compared with four other approaches based on intensity thresholding, saliency and class maps, our method has a 20% higher sensitivity.Comment: Article published in MICCAI 2017. Local and global ordering dynamics in multi-state voter models

We investigate the time evolution of the density of active links and of the entropy of the distribution of agents among opinions in multi-state voter models with all-to-all interaction and on uncorrelated networks. Individual realisations undergo a sequence of eliminations of opinions until consensus is reached. After each elimination the population remains in a meta-stable state. The density of active links and the entropy in these states varies from realisation to realisation. Making some simple assumptions we are able to analytically calculate the average density of active links and the average entropy in each of these states. We also show that, averaged over realisations, the density of active links decays exponentially, with a time scale set by the size and geometry of the graph, but independent of the initial number of opinion states. The decay of the average entropy is exponential only at long times when there are at most two opinions left in the population. Finally, we show how meta-stable states comprised of only a subset of opinions can be artificially engineered by introducing precisely one zealot in each of the prevailing opinions.Comment: 18 pages, 18 figure

Strengthening Small Business Clusters Serving Minority Communities

The existence of thriving and numerous small businesses is instrumental to generating wealth within a community. They provide a diverse employment base for local residents, leading to greater economic stability. Small businesses create opportunities for keeping dollars circulating within the community, multiplying the benefits of those dollars. Creating such internal-multipliers within the economy of a community is a strategy for strengthening the community as a whole. This benefit extends to communities of color, immigrant communities, ethnic minority communities, and sexual minority communities. Not all minority communities share in common a geographic location. They can be found residing in a relatively compact neighborhood just as they are often dispersed over a larger geographic area, such as a region. However a minority community is distributed, clusters of businesses serving a particular community provide value. In addition to generating wealth, business clusters facilitate the creation of place, for a community to meet. These places become important to the sense of identity and pride for the communities they serve. The goal of this project is to facilitate the strengthening of small businesses 3:nd business clusters that serve minority communities. Small businesses are defined as businesses with less than 50 employees. Small businesses serving minority communities include businesses that provide goods and services that mayor may not be unique to a minority community. These businesses may be owned by and employ members of a minority community. They may provide third places where people can gather and relax, or they may support community events. These small businesses may cluster to share a clientele base or provide goods and services to other businesses in the cluster. These relationships create inter-dependencies among the businesses in the cluster and the communities they serve. Understanding and attending to the inter-dependencies of small business clusters is one strategy for maintaining the viability of the businesses comprising the cluster. With greater understanding of the local dynamics of these clusters, planning and public investment decisions can be made to effectively strengthen small businesses and the minority communities they serve. In Portland, Oregon, the Interstate Corridor Urban Renewal Area (ORA) and the planning process in the West End offer opportunities for such business- and community-strengthening efforts. Our team performed case studies in the Interstate corridor URA and downtown\u27s West End to identify small businesses serving minority communities, the presence of business clusters and their dynamics. These specific areas of interest include N. Killingsworth Avenue, between Interstate-5 and Cleveland, in the Interstate Corridor URA and the Burnside Triangle in the West End. Within each case study area, we inventoried businesses using Regional Land Information System (RLIS) and City of Portland Bureau of Licenses data. We then conducted interviews with a sample of these businesses to gain a greater understanding of business characteristics as well as to identify business clusters and their mutually supporting dynamics. The interviews included questions to business owners about what would help strengthen their business as well as questions to customers about their patronage habits. We then synthesized findings from these interviews with those from a review of economic development literature to develop strategies and recommendations for strengthe:o.i.rrg small businesses and the communities they serve. We further intend this project to serve as a model for identifying small business clusters serving minority communities and determining how planning efforts can strengthen those businesses and the communities they serve. Our project will aid both our clients, including the economic development efforts of the Portland Development Commission (PDC) in the Interstate Corridor URA and City of Portland Commissioner Jim Francesconi\u27s interest in and advocacy for small and minority businesses

Afro-Peruvian Identity and Its Connection with the Land:The Guayabo-Chincha Case

Most contemporary Afro-Peruvian communities suffer social, spatial and economic discrimination. The country's hierarchical social structure is the legacy left by the Spaniards since the colonial period. National rhetoric on race also disparages the contribution of African descended communities to Peru's culture. By contrast, the community of El Guayabo in southern Peru has developed a strong, positive identity. This thesis presents an analysis of the attributes of positive identity developed in El Guayabo, researched through a process of interviews and participant observation. This thesis will investigate how the community of Guayabo could develop such a positive self identity as compared to other Afro-Peruvian communities, mainly those in the capital of Lima. For the people of El Guayabo this positive identity is focused on the organization of their community with a social and economic attachment to land, work, music, and cultural heritage

Arquitectura vernácula y su incidencia en la calidad de vida en las viviendas sociales Paimas, Ayabaca, 2023

La arquitectura vernácula es una arquitectura contextualizada desarrolla por la propia comunidad, en esta investigación se planteó como objetivo general determinar como la arquitectura vernácula incide en la calidad de vida de los habitantes en las viviendas sociales del distrito de Paimas, 2023. Se aplicó una metodología tipo básica, de enfoque cuantitativo, con diseño descriptivo, correlacional descriptiva para lo cual se tomó una población de estudio de 540 viviendas de la zona urbana de Paimas, con una muestra de 220 viviendas, en donde se aplicaron un cuestionario y fichas de observación válidos a juicio de expertos. La investigación obtuvo como resultado que la arquitectura vernácula influye positivamente en la calidad de vida en las viviendas sociales del distrito de Paimas, obteniendo una relación de significancia altamente positiva y con un coeficiente de Rho de Spearman de r=0.266, y con un chi cuadrado de r²=0,162. Debido a este alarmante incremento de la contaminación ambiental se ha creado una conciencia de lo importante que es utilizar los materiales locales disponibles, por lo cual se ha implementando este tipo de arquitectura vernácula que sirve como estrategia para mejorar la calidad de vida de las viviendas sociales en el distrito de Paimas

Proyecto de gestión para el fortalecimiento de la prevención de violencia intrafamiliar en niños, niñas y adolescentes en el Barrio Memorial Sandino de la ciudad de Managua”

Para la elaboración del presente proyecto, se inició con la herramienta método cualitativo, luego se procedió con la etapa diagnóstica, por tal razón se provino a la realización del árbol de problemas donde se desglosan las principales causas y las consecuencias, además se identificó la matriz de involucrados donde se describe los intereses y estrategias que formaran parte de este proyecto, responsabilidades que ellos cumplen, luego se realizó el análisis de las alternativas utilizando criterios de identificación de tres medios que representan estrategias para dar solución partiendo del árbol de objetivos, seleccionando aquellos medios que representan estrategias viables para cambiar la situación problema. Es necesario resaltar la elaboración de la matriz de marco lógico de planeación en forma resumida, sencilla y armónica que establece con claridad los objetivos, contribuir en el proyecto, se realizó un estudio diagnóstico desde la perspectiva social, en donde se definió la característica de los servicios, población beneficiaria y demanda. Se procedió a la delimitación del proyecto, determinando la macro localización hasta la micro localización. Asimismo, se establece las micro zonas donde se realizarán las réplicas de conocimientos por parte de los adolescentes, el tamaño, las fuentes donde se proveerán de recursos, ingeniería y tecnología y logística. El proyecto estará respaldado legalmente en contexto internacional y nacional, se evaluará antes, durante y después de la ejecución, también se elaboró el presupuesto del proyecto y por ultimo detalla el cronograma de actividades en coherencia con los productos y resultados determinados para el funcionamiento del proyect

Nivel de comprensión de los factores de riesgo del cáncer de cérvix y su efecto en los estilos de vida en gestantes atendidas en un Hospital II- 1 de Trujillo 2022

La presente investigación tuvo por objetivo determinar el nivel de comprensión de los factores de riesgo del cáncer de cérvix y su efecto en los estilos de vida en gestantes atendidas en un Hospital II- 1 de Trujillo 2022. Se realizó un estudio no experimental, descriptivo y correlacional simple; en el que se incluyó a 85 gestantes del Hospital Distrital El Esfuerzo de Florencia de Mora. Se procedió a la construcción de un cuestionario con 21 preguntas de tipo cerrado; dicho cuestionario fue previamente validado por 3 expertos. Su aplicación conllevó a la técnica de entrevista personalizada. Los resultados evidenciaron que nivel de comprensión de los factores de riesgo por parte de las gestantes en mayor proporción es del nivel bajo (51.76%), asimismo, se demostró que la categoría más común referente al estilo de vida fue el nivel regular (90.59%); sin embargo, el análisis de asociación (p ≤ 0.05) no manifestó asociación entre el nivel de comprensión y el estilo de vida. Se concluye que a pesar que la mayoría de gestantes posee un nivel bajo de comprensión, su estilo de vida reside mayoritariamente en un nivel regular; ello se debería a las diferentes campañas de concientización televisivas, orales, vecinales y nacionales que atienden otros males y enfermedades y que promueven buenos estilos de vida

La ubicación estratégica del municipio se encuentra como enlace entre los departamentos de Cundinamarca y Tolima. Cuidados de enfermería en pacientes colostomizados en el servicio de cirugía varones del hospital regional Honorio Delgado - Arequipa, 2022

El presente trabajo académico es presentado para optar el título de la segunda especialidad titulado “CUIDADOS DE ENFERMERÍA EN PACIENTES COLOSTOMIZADOS EN EL SERVICIO DE CIRUGIA VARONES DEL HOSPITAL REGIONAL HONORIO DELGADO - AREQUIPA, 2022”, siendo la población atendida personas de sexo masculino y adultos, con el fin de dar a conocer el rol de la Enfermera en los cuidados en pacientes colostomizados. El Hospital Regional Honorio Delgado es un Centro de atención referencial Nivel III, por lo que tiene como misión brindar atención a toda Región Sur del país. EL Servicio de Cirugía Varones es un área que se encuentra ubicado en el nivel 4, cuenta con 60 camas disponibles para las diferentes especialidades que allí se atienden. Mi persona en calidad de autora ha venido desarrollando el plan de cuidados para pacientes colostomizados del Servicio de Cirugía Varones durante el primer semestre del año en curso, encontrando sustento suficiente en las evidencias de los casos que se dan en este servicio
