    The study seeks to find out whether safety-training has the same effect in small-scale, middle-scale and large-scale industries. The population is low level education workers in East Java industries. The research found that safety-training affects significantly in increasing workers attitude only in large scale industries. Workers in small and middle industries got safety knowledge from safety-training but their safety attitudes do not increase because they found threat to apply their knowledge in their industries

    The big role of school principals in supporting the improvement of the quality of education should be reviewed comprehensively and completely based on problems in the school. That since March 16, 2020 the government has called for learning to be carried out online. So, the change so quickly in the way of learning is surprising for both teachers and students, various problems arise. So that the school also began to anticipate participating in finding solutions to anticipate problems that occur in online learning. There are 3 direct policies simultaneously that we must implement in a situation of learning crisis at that time, namely social restrictions due to the COVID-19 pandemic forcing online learning, independent learning without the UN so that students can assess student competencies in the form of written tests or other more comprehensive forms of assessment, such as portfolios and assignments (group assignments, written papers, etc.), curriculum in special conditions or emergency curriculum, schools can use a curriculum that suits the learning needs of students. This situation is discussed in this paper, the efforts of Public Vocational High School 11 Malang to supervise to improve online learning that was previously completely unprepared.     Ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi komunikasi terus berkembang dengan pesat. Pengaruhnya meluas ke berbagai bidang kehidupan, termasuk dalam bidangpendidikan. Peran guru sebagai sumber pengetahuan berubah menjadi fasilitator, motivator, evaluator, dan tutor. Pada saat ini pembelajaran yang berpusat pada guru berubah menjadi pembelajaranyang berpusat pada siswa. Pendidikan merupakan sebuah proses akademik yang tujuannya untuk meningkatkan nilai sosial, budaya, moral, atau agama peserta didik. Salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi prestasi siswa adalah motivasi. Dengan adanya motivasi, siswa akan belajar lebih keras, ulet, tekun dan memiliki konsentrasi penuh dalam proses pembelajaran. Selain hal tersebut mengintegrasikan Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi (TIK) dalam pembelajaransaat ini sangat penting dilakukan antara lain untuk meningkatkan kompetensi dan mutu belajar peserta didik. Kita tahu bahwa dengan masuknya pengaruh globalisasi khususnya teknologi komunikasi, maka pendidikan saat ini akan lebih bersifat jaringan, terbuka dan dua arah, beragam, multidisipliner, serta terkait pada produktivitas kerja dan kompetitif. Ada tiga model pembelajaranberbasis internet yang dapat diterapkan dalam pembelajaran, yaitu web course, web centric course, dan web enhanced course. Selain kedua faktor tersebut faktor lain yang berpengaruh terhadap keberhasilan dalam pembelajaranadalah self-efficacy kemampuan komputer.     Mutu sekolah kejuruan sangat ditentukan oleh kelengkapan sarana prasarana praktik yang ada dibengkel/laboratorium serta kompetensi guru bidang produktif. Keterampilan mengelola bengkel/laboratorium bagi guru SMK akan berdampak pada kelancaran kegiatan pembelajaran, terhindarnya kecelakaan kerja saat kegiatan praktikum, dan berdampak pada mutu lulusan. Pengabdian Masyarakatn ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengatahuan dan keterampiran para guru SMK di Kabupaten Trenggalek dalam pengelolaan dan pengoperasian bengkel  guna mencegah kecelakaan kerja. Metode kegiatan yang digunakan meliputi ceramah, tanya-jawab, dan demonstrasi. Peserta pelatihan diwajibkan mengikuti pre-test dan pos-test untuk melihat keberhasilan pelaksanaan pelatihan. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa peserta pelatihan mengalami peningkatan pemahaman dan kompetensi manajemen bengkel/laboratorium pendidikan. Kata kunci— kecelakaan kerja, kompetensi guru SMK, manajemen bengkel Abstract The quality of vocational schools is very much determined by the completeness of the existing practical infrastructure in the workshop / laboratory as well as the competence of teachers in productive fields. The skills in managing a workshop / laboratory for vocational teachers will have an impact on the smooth running of learning activities, avoid work accidents during practicum activities, and have an impact on the quality of graduates. This Community Service aims to increase the knowledge and skills of vocational school teachers in Trenggalek Regency in managing and operating workshops to prevent work accidents. The activity methods used include lectures, questions and answers, and demonstrations.     Tujuan penelitian untuk mengkaji kontribusi penguasaan mata pelajaran produktif (ξ1), relevansi Prakerin (ξ2), dan motivasi kerja (ξ3) terhadap minat kerja (ε1) dan kesiapan memasuki DU/DI (ε2). Penelitian dengan survei pada 56 siswa ke-las XII SMK paket keahlian RPL di Kota Batu. Pengumpulan data variabel ξ1 dengan dokumentasi, sedangkan ξ2, ξ3, ε1, dan ε2 dengan kuesioner. Besar kontribusi dianalisis dengan metode Partial Least Square (PLS). Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) ξ1 berkontribusi signifikan terhadap ε1; (2) ξ2 berkontribusi signifikan terhadap ε1; (3) ξ3 berkontribusi signifikan terhadap ε1; (4) ξ1 tidak berkontribusi signifikan terhadap ε2; (5) ξ2 berkontribusi signifikan terhadap ε2; (6) ξ3 berkontribusi signifikan terhadap ε2; dan (7) ε1 berkontribusi signifikan terhadap ε2

    Analysis of Nitrogen, Phosphorus and Potassium Concentration in Modified Liquid Organic Fertilizers of Vegetable Waste, Charcoal and Snails

    Nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium concentration in liquid organic fertilizer can be obtained from organic materials. Liquid organic fertilizer can be made from vegetable waste, charcoal, and gold snail (Pomacea canaliculata L.). This study aimed to know the concentration of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium in liquid organic fertilizers of waste vegetable, charcoal and snail. Methods used to test nitrogen was the Kjeldahl method, while potassium and phosphorus tested with spectrophotometer. The results showed that the concentration of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium in liquid organic fertilizers of waste vegetable, charcoal and snail were 0,2612 percent; 0,0334 percent; and 0,1421 percent. This concentration didn’t meet the standard of liquid organic fertilizers quality based on MOA No. 70 of 2010 which is 3 until 6 percent

    Conceptual model for improving quality of teacher in Indonesian vocational school

    Indonesia faces vocational teachers’ shortage both in the quantity and quality. One of Indonesian goverments’ effortsto overcome that problem is holding a Dual Expertise Program (DEP) to produce dual expertise teachers for vocational schools. However, the quality of dual expertise vocational teacher is still questionable. The purpose of this article is to give an idea related to the conceptual model framework for improving the quality of vocational teachers demonstrated by the teachers’ achievements. The authors of this article discuss factors that have an impact on the quality of vocational teachers and describe a framework based on a literature review that might contribute to improving the quality of vocational teachers, especially dual expertise vocational teachers. Based on the results of the article found that to improve the quality of vocational teacher can be improved through increasing self-efficacy and transferable skills, in addition to pay attention to teacher’s initial expertise and teaching experience

    PENINGKATAN KETERAMPILAN MENGOLAH DATA MELALUI PELATIHAN PENGGUNAAN TEKNOLOGI INFORMASI BAGI PERANGKAT DESA

    Abstrak. Perkembangan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi telah merambah hampir seluruh penjuru dunia, termasuk di pelosok desa ditanah air. Namun pemanfaatan teknologi informasi tersebut dirasa belum maksimal di pedesaan. Desa Bangoan adalah Desa yang terletak di Kecamatan Kedungwaru, berjarak sekitar 8 km dari pusat Kabupaten Tulungagung. Desa Bangoan memiliki 3 Dusun, 10 Rukun warga dan 59 Rukun Tetangga dengan jumlah penduduk desa per 31 Agustus 2019 berjumlah 10.596 jiwa. Berdasarkan hasil observasi dan wawancara tanggal 26 Agustus 2019 dengan Sekretaris Desa dan Kepala Urusan pmbangunan, beliau menyatakan bahwa di desa tersebut hanya 2 orang dari 15 orang perangkat desa yang mampu mengoperasikan komputer, itupun hanya sebatas membuat surat dan mengolah data sederhana, belum memanfaatkan teknologi komputer untuk mengelola data dan arsip desa secara maksimal.Dalam rangka membantu penerapan dan pemanfaatan teknologi di wilayah Desa Bangoan, Tim Satgas Universitas Negeri Malang melakukan pengabdian kepada masyarakat berupa pelatihan komputer bagi perangkat Desa Bangoan, Kecamatan Kedungwaru, Kabupaten Tulungagung.Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan terdapat peningkatan yang signifikan bagi para peserta pelatihan setelah mengikuti pelatihan komputer yang diselenggarakan oleh Tim Satgas.     This paper explores the development of website portal for Electrical Engineering teachers in Vocational High School. The website portal for Electrical Engineering teachers in Vocational High School aims at providing information and as a channel for Electrical Engineering teachers in Vocational High School to discuss important issues and problems related to teaching and learning in Electrical Engineering. The development of the website, basically, is conducted to facilitate and enhance pedagogic competence of Electrical Engineering teachers in Vocational High School in facing AEC. This present development study employed a development model suggested by Branch called ADDIE. The development model consists of five steps namely Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The developed website was evaluated by the Electrical Engineering teachers in Vocational High School in Manado. The result of this development research indicated that the developed website obtained 88.0 score and categorized as appropriate. There are some features that are provided by the website to support communication vocational teachers electro, ie the automatic update feature information from the world of education from 4 countries, translator on the automatic update feature information about the world of education, the adjustment of the display (responsive) based devices accessed, automation features to retrieve information from Forums to put in other websites, and integration of educational calendars.   Article visualizations
