    A novel bat algorithm for solving optimal power flow problem

    This paper presents an application of a novel bat algorithm (NBA) for solving optimal power flow (OPF) problems in power systems. The proposed algorithm combines a bat habitat selection and their self-adaptive compensation for the Doppler effects in echoes into the basic bat algorithm (BA). The selection of the bat habitat is modeled as a selection between their quantum behavior and mechanical behavior. The objective of this paper is to minimize the total generation costs by considering equality and inequality constraints. To validate the proposed algorithm, the standard IEEE 30-bus and 57-bus test systems are applied. The results show that the proposed technique provides a better solution than other heuristic techniques reported in the literature

    Solving Economic Dispatch Problem with Valve-Point Effect using a Modified ABC Algorithm

    This paper presents a new approach for solving economic dispatch (ED) problem with valve-point effect using a modified artificial bee colony (MABC) algorithm. Artificial bee colony algorithm is a recent population-based optimization method which has been successfully used in many complex problems. This paper proposes a novel best mechanism algorithm based on a modified ABC algorithm, in which a new mutation strategy inspired from the differential evolution (DE) is introduced in order to improve the exploitation process. To demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method, the numerical studies have been performed for two different sample systems. The results of the proposed method are compared with other techniques reported in recent literature. The results clearly show that the proposed MABC algorithm outperforms other state-of-the-art algorithms in solving ED problem with the valve-point effect.DOI:http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/ijece.v3i3.251

    ABSTRACTCorona Virus 2019 has a significant impact on society, especially in the economic sector. In the economic sector, the Financial Services Authority (OJK) issued Financial Services Authority Regulation Number 11 / POJK.03 / 2020 to help debtors who have difficulty fulfilling obligations in credit agreements. This research aims to: 1) look at the background of the issuance of the Financial Services Authority Regulation Number 11 / POJK.03 / 2020 concerning National Economic Stimulus as a Countercyclical Policy on the Impact of the Spread of the Corona Desease Virus 2019, 2) to see the form of legal protection for debtors who have difficulty fulfilling obligations in credit agreements before and after the COVID-19 pandemic. The research method in this research is normative juridical. It is known that the background for the issuance of POJK Number 11 / POJK.03 / 2020 is differentiated based on philosophical, juridical, and normative reasons. Then, the form of legal protection provided by the Government to debtors is differentiated during the period before the COVID-19 pandemic and during the implementation of the COVID-19 pandemic.Keywords: Debtor, COVID-19, RestructuringABSTRAKCorona Virus Desease 2019 memberikan dampak yang signifikan bagi masyarakat, khususnya terhadap sektor ekonomi. Pada sektor ekonomi, Otoritas Jasa Keuangan (OJK) mengeluarkan Peraturan Otoritas Jasa Keuangan Nomor 11/POJK.03/2020 untuk membantu debitur yang kesulitan memenuhi kewajiban dalam perjanjian kredit. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) mengetahui latar belakang dikeluarkannya Peraturan Otoritas Jasa Keuangan Nomor 11/POJK.03/2020 tentang Stimulus Perekonomian Nasional sebagai Kebijakan Countercyclical Dampak Penyebaran Corona Virus Desease 2019, 2) untuk mengetahui bentuk perlindungan hukum terhadap debitur yang kesulitan untuk memenuhi kewajiban dalam perjanjian kredit sebelum dan setelah adanya pandemi COVID-19. Metode penelitian dalam penelitian ini adalah yuridis normatif. Diketahui yang menjadi latar belakang dikeluarkannya POJK Nomor 11/POJK.03/2020 dibedakan berdasarkan alasan filosofis, yuridis, dan normatif.     Hybrid PSOGSA technique for solving dynamic economic emission dispatch problem

    In this paper, a new hybrid population-based algorithm is proposed with the combining of particle swarm optimization (PSO) and gravitational search algorithm (GSA) techniques. The main idea is to integrate the ability of exploration in PSO with the ability of exploration in the GSA to synthesize both algorithms’ strength. The new algorithm is implemented to the dynamic economic emission dispatch (DEED) problem to minimize both fuel cost and emission simultaneously under a set of constraints. To demonstrate the efficiency of the proposed algorithm, a 5-unit test system is used. The results show the effectiveness and superiority of the proposed method when compared to the results of other optimization algorithms reported in the literature

    A Modified ABC Algorithm for Solving Non-Convex Dynamic Economic Dispatch Problems

    In this paper, a modified artificial bee colony (MABC) algorithm is presented to solve non-convex dynamic economic dispatch (DED) problems considering valve-point effects, the ramp rate limits and transmission losses. Artificial bee colony algorithm is a recent population-based optimization method which has been successfully used in many complex problems. A new mutation strategy inspired from the differential evolution (DE) is introduced in order to improve the exploitation process. The feasibility of the proposed method is validated on 5 and 10 units test system for a 24 h time interval. The results are compared with the results reported in the literature. It is shown that the optimum results can be obtained more economically and quickly using the proposed method in comparison with the earlier methods

    Pengaruh Konformitas Dan Internalisasi Nilai-Nilai Islam Terhadap Pemikiran Radikalisme

    Munculnya organisasi-organisasi Islam yang representasi agamanya meluas jauh ke luar negeri, melintasi batas negara. Inilah yang menyebabkan munculnya ide-ide agama baru di kalangan mahasiswa Muslim. Gagasan radikalisme di kalangan mahasiswa terjadi karena beberapa faktor salah satunya adalah adanya pengaruh sosial untuk mengikuti norma-norma yang ada dalam kelompok konformitas, serta doktrin yang diberikan berupa pemahaman atau pengahayatan nilai-nilai agama Islam. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kesesuaian dan internalisasi nilai-nilai Islam pada Pusat Kajian Islam Mahasiswa Universitas Mulawarman. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 100 anggota Universitas Islam Pusat Studi Universitas Mulawarman yang dipilih dengan menggunakan teknik simple random sampling. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah skala kesesuaian, internalisasi nilai-nilai Islam dan pemikiran radikal. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis dengan metode Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) dengan bantuan software Amos versi 22. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kesesuaian dengan pemikiran radikal menunjukkan nilai CR sebesar -0.857 ≤ 1.96 dan nilai P sebesar 0.391> 0.05 yang artinya konformitas tidak berpengaruh pada pemikiran radikalisme. Kemudian pada internalisasi nilai-nilai Islam dengan pemikiran radikalisme menunjukkan nilai C.R sebesar -0,292 ≤ 1,96 dan nilai P sebesar 0,770> 0,05 yang berarti dalam internalisasi nilai-nilai Islam tidak terdapat pengaruh terhadap pemikiran radikalisme

    Kualitas pelayanan publik menjadi barometer keberhasilan implementasi kebijakan otonomi daerah. Salah satu pelayanan publik yang dilakukan oleh pemerintah kabupaten/kota adalah pelayanan izin mendirikan bangunan (IMB). Seharusnya semua bangunan di kota Palembang memiliki IMB, namun realitas menunjukkan baru 35,10 persen bangunan yang telah memiliki IMB. Hal ini merupakan indikasi bahwa kualitas pelayanan izin mendirikan bangunan (IMB) masih rendah. Melalui penelitian yang dilakukan, diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa indikasi-indikasi rendahnya kualitas pelayanan izin mendirikan bangunan (IMB) tersebut adalah sebagai berikut: (1) lokasi pelayanan yang tidak strategis dan sulit dijangkau; (2) pelayanan permohonan izin mendirikan bangunan (IMB) belum memiliki standar yang baku; (3) pelayanan permohonan IMB belum tepat waktu dari waktu yang dijanjikan; (4) besarnya tarif retribusi tidak sesuai dengan Kenyataan; serta (5) pelayanan pemberian izin mendirikan bangunan (IMB) masih diskriminatif

    Business Feasibility Study on Hydroponic Vegetable Business in Ciawi Bogor Area (Bogor Veggies Case Study)

    Hydroponic vegetables are vegetables that grow with the help of liquids that contain nutrients needed by vegetables to grow. Hydroponics uses water that is more efficient, so it is suitable to be applied in areas that have a limited water supply. The water used to grow these vegetables can also be recycled. Plants like this, healthier than using fertilizers, because without chemicals. Hydroponic vegetable plants, many people like to understand health, because it is considered healthier when compared to vegetable crop grown using fertilizer.The purpose of this study is to determine and analyze the feasibility of hydroponic vegetable business in the Ciawi Bogor region (Bogor Veggies Study Case) seen from non-financial aspects, namely market aspects, legal aspects, technical aspects and management aspects and financial aspects. So that the capital that has been invested in this business can be more effective and implementation and the output produced will be maximized.The data used in this study are primary data and secondary data. Data The primary is obtained by direct observation of only one business actor hydroponic vegetables in the Ciawi Bogor region (Bogor Veggies Case Study) the business actor has fulfilled the criteria determined as a business actor hydroponic vegetables in Bogor Regency. Secondary data obtained from financial reports and sales reports and literature relevant to research in the form of books, results of previous studies, and internet publicationsQualitative analysis is used to analyze the feasibility of non-financial aspects such as market aspects, legal aspects, technical aspects and management aspects. Quantitative Analysis used to analyze eligibility based on investment criteria. Financial aspects in Bogor Veggies business shows that the payback period is 1 years 4 months 1 days, NPV is Rp 126.869.865, IRR is 49 percent, and profitability index is 3,504 percent. The results of this feasibility analysis indicate that the hydroponic vegetable business in the Ciawi Bogor region is feasible based on market aspects, legal aspects, technical aspects, management aspects and financial aspects

    ANALISIS KERENTANAN JARINGAN JALAN KARENA PUTUSNYA RUAS JALAN MAYJEN SUTOYO TANAH PATAH KOTA BENGKULU AKIBAT DAMPAK BENCANA LIKUIFAKSI

    Jalan Mayjen Sutoyo, Kelurahan Tanah Patah merupakan salah satu akses utama yang mewadahi aktifitas transportasi warga Kota Bengkulu. Ruas Jalan yang memiliki arus lalu lintas padat ini juga memiliki risiko terjadi likuifaksi. Berdasarkan pengalaman bencana gempa bumi tahun 2007 dengan kekuatan 7,9 SR banyak bangunan disekitar ruas jalan ini yang mengalami keruntuhan akibat likuifaksi, yang bukan tidak mungkin suatu saat akan meruntuhkan ruas jalan tersebut. Maka dalam penelitian ini dilakukan pemodelan lalu lintas untuk memprediksi kemampuan ruas jalan disekitar Jalan Mayjen Sutoyo dalam melayani lalu lintas termasuk untuk kepentingan logistik saat bencana. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui kerentanan jaringan jalan sekitar yang terdampak apabila ruas jalan Mayjen Sutoyo putus akibat bencana likuifaksi melalui pendekatan Indeks Kerentanan INVEF. Menggunakan data survei arus lalu lintas jam puncak ruas jalan wilayah studi selanjutnya dilakukan pemodelan lalu lintas pada kondisi harian dan saat ruas jalan Mayjen Sutoyo putus. Hasil pemodelan kondisi harian divalidasi dan didapatkan nilai R2 sebesar 0,87 atau 87%. Hasil analisis pemodelan jaringan jalan dengan skenario putusnya ruas jalan Mayjen Sutoyo menunjukkan terjadinya peningkatan volume lalu lintas pada beberapa ruas jalan. Hasil dari perhitungan Indeks Kerentanan menunjukkan bahwa ruas jalan yang mengalami kerentanan adalah ruas Jalan Danau, Jalan Merapi Raya, Jalan Flamboyan, Jalan Seruni, Jalan Indragiri dan Jalan Pembangunan.     Multiobjective H2/H∞ Control Design with Regional Pole Constraints

    This paper presents multiobjective H2/H∞ control design with regional pole constraints. The state feedback gain can be obtained by solving a linear matrix inequality (LMI) feasibility problem that robustly assigns the closed-loop poles in a prescribed LMI region. The proposed technique is illustrated with applications to the design of stabilizer for a typical single-machine infinite-bus (SMIB) power system. The LMI-based control ensures adequate damping for widely varying system operating conditions. The simulation results illustrate the effectiveness and robustness of the proposed stabilizer
