In this paper, we prove Kirchberg inequalities for any kahler spin foliations. Their limiting cases are then characterized as being transversal minimal Einstein foliations. The key point is to introduce the transversal kahlerian twistor operators

The purpose of this research to determine the general overview, the effectiveness and the constraint encountered in the management of teachers quality resource improvement at vocational high school based on International standard in Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta. This is a descriptive research. The research was conducted at three vocational high school based on international standard in Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta, that is SMK N 1 Bantul, SMK N 2 Wonosari, and SMK N 2 Pengasih. Research carried out starting from the date of 19 September 2011 until 19 December 2011. The data source is a teachers at the school consists of three teachers in each majors. Instrument in this study were semi-closed questionnaire. Techniques of data collection conducted by questionnaires and unstructured interviews. The quantitative data analyzed using descriptive statistical techniques, while qualitative data analyzed with qualitative descriptive. In management of teachers quality resource improvement at vocational high school based on International standard in Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta, consist of 5 process / stages: 1) Recruitment, 2) Selection Process (filtering), 3) Placement/Assignment process, 4) Assessment / Evaluation performance, and 5) career development of teachers. Generally not implemented properly , especially in the recruitment and selection of new teachers. Seen from the three vocational high school based on international standard which researched, there is only one school that do their own recruitment and selection process, even only a limited to non-permanent teachers. Whereas for the placement process, evaluation and career development is still considered less effectively implemented by the school. Constraints that often encountered in the recruitment and selection process is was still conducted in full by the district government / city government. Constraints in the placement process, the assessment process, and career development is a lack of school budgets, mistake of placement by the district government / local government, as well as technical and non technical constraints. Keyword : management, teachers resource, vocational high school base on international standar

In this paper, we give an optimal lower bound for the eigenvalues of the basic Dirac operator on a quaternion-Kahler foliation. The limiting case is characterized by the existence of quaternion-Kahler Killing spinors. We end this paper by giving some examples

Directive ultra wideband antenna for medical applications

Since the acceptance of unlicensed band of Ultra-Wideband (UWB) technology in the range between 3.1 and 10.6 GHz, the realization of low-cost UWB wireless systems is considered a fundamental research goal both for military and commercial applications. The possible use and benefits of UWB technology are significant among its potential applications, high-resolution radar and short-range ultra-high speed data transmission. However, one of the most critical challenging task of the UWB system is the designing of a compact size antenna that possess a good gain and high directivity. Thus, the aim of this project is to design and develop a directive and miniaturized antenna for UWB applications. The antenna is designed and fabricated on a Flame Retardant (FR4) laminated substrate with dielectric constant, ԑr of 4.3 and thickness of 1.6mm. Several numbers of antennas have been carried out throughout the completion of the project. Firstly, an antenna with slots on radiator has been designed. Subsequently, Ground Defected Structure (DGS) is implemented. For increasing bandwidth and impedance matching of the first antenna, thus an antenna with compact dimension of 25×45mm2 has been resulted. Finally, a reflector structure with the distance of 18mm is added for directivity and gain enhancement. The antenna with reflector has been fabricated using etching technique and being measured for the reflection coefficient. As the result, by applying reflector, the directivity and gain of the antenna has increased significantly, from 5.81dBi to 7.06dBi. This showed 21.52% gain improvement of the proposed antenna by implementing reflector. Therefore, the proposed antenna which has compact size and high gain is seen as a suitable candidate for the use of UWB applications

Influence of post-cyclic loading on hemic peat

Construction on peat soils has proven to be a challenging task to civil engineers since this soil type has a significant issue that arises from common problems construction of roads, housing and embankment construction with regard to peat are stability, settlements and major problems were encountered especially on deep peat. For many years, in road design as an example, static loading method was applied in road designed by considering soil shear strength through static load and do not take into account the vehicular dynamic loading and shear strength thereafter. This fact is related to the shear strength of peat soil after dynamically loaded. The aim of this research is to establish the post-cyclic behaviour of peat soil after cyclically loaded and to assess the effect of parameters changes on static and post-cyclic behaviour of peat soil. 200 specimens are tested, and prepared under consolidated undrained triaxial with effective stresses at 25kPa, 50 kPa, and 100 kPa with different location from Parit Nipah, Johor, Parit Sulong, Batu Pahat, Johor and Beaufort, Sabah. These specimens tested using GDS Enterprise Level Dynamic Triaxial Testing System (ELDYN) apparatus. Whereas, dynamic load tests are carried out in different frequencies to simulate the loading type such as vibration of machineries, wind, traffic load and earthquake in field from 1.0 Hz, 2.0 Hz and 3.0 Hz with 100 numbers of loading cycles. Post-cyclic monotonic shear strength results and then compared to the static monotonic results. Significantly, showed some vital changes that leads to the changes of stress-strain behaviour. Apparently, the result shows that post-cyclic shear strength decreases with the increase of frequencies. Prior to critical yield strain level, the peat specimen experience a significant deformation. The deformation of peats triggers changes in soil structures that causes reduction in stress-strain behaviour. Thus, it can be concluded that the stress-strain behaviour of peat soil decreased after 100 numbers of cyclic loading in post-cyclic test as compared to the static tests, and it decreased substantially when frequencies were applied. The post-cyclic specimen had a lower undrained parameters than did the static. Reduction of cohesion value in postcylic compared to static almost 70% and reduction of friction angle is about 46.34%

    Market assessment overview

Market assessment, refined with analysis disaggregated from a national level to the regional level and to specific market applications, resulted in more accurate and detailed market estimates. The development of an integrated set of computer simulations, coupled with refined market data, allowed progress in the ability to evaluate the worth of solar thermal parabolic dish systems. In-depth analyses of both electric and thermal market applications of these systems are described. The following market assessment studies were undertaken: (1) regional analysis of the near term market for parabolic dish systems; (2) potential early market estimate for electric applications; (3) potential early market estimate for industrial process heat/cogeneration applications; and (4) selection of thermal and electric application case studies for fiscal year 1981
