    Studi Kinetika Adsorpsi : Pemanfaatan Limbah Biji Pepaya (Carica papaya L.) sebagai Adsorben Ion Logam Cd(II) dan Pb(II) Pada Limbah Dengan Metode Batch

    Currently, papaya seed waste (Carica papaya L.) is very abundant and easy to obtain because papaya is included in the fruit group whose harvest season is throughout the year. Papaya seeds are also included in a sustainable energy source. This research aims to study the adsorption kinetics of papaya seed adsorbents on Cd(II) and Pb(II) metal ions in laboratory waste. Several innovations were made including variations in adsorbent mass, contact time and pH. Optimum absorption efficiency of Cd(II) metal occurs with an adsorbent weight of 4 grams, equilibrium time of 90 minutes and pH 7. Papaya seed adsorbent is able to absorb Cd(II) metal ions up to 0.138 mg/g with a maximum absorption of 103.66%. Whereas for Pb(II) metal occurs at the optimum condition of adsorbent weight of 1 gram, equilibrium time of 60 minutes and pH 6. These conditions are able to adsorb up to 1.037 mg/g with absorption efficiency reaching 91.31%. The results of processing the kinetic data showed that the adsorption kinetics of Cd(II) followed the Pseudo Second Order model with an initial absorption rate of 0.1710 mg/g min. Whereas for metal Pb(II) follows the Elovich model with an initial adsorption rate of 0.045 mg/g min and a covered surface area of 2.8993 (g/mg). The implementation of waste was able to adsorb 0.122 mg/g of Cd(II) metal ions with 79.42% absorption and 0.993 mg/g of Pb(II) metal ions with 99.60% absorption

    Antena Mikrostrip Circular Array Dual Frekuensi

    Paper Dalam aplikasi GPS (Global Positioning System) dan GSM (Global System for Mobile communication) dalam sebuah fitur layanan telepon seluler, diperlukan antena tunggal yang mampu melayani 2 keperluan aplikasi GPS yaitu frekwensi 1575 MHz dan keperluan GSM yaitu 1800 MHz sekaligus. Dalam perancangan ini antena mikrostrip dual frekwensi dibangun menggunakan bahan Epoxy fiberglass FR-4 dengan konstanta dielektrik (εr) = 4,5. Antena hasil perencanaan terdiri dari dua elemen peradiasi (patch). Berdasarkan hasil pengujian yang dilakukan, antena mikrostrip circular array yang dirancang pada frekuensi 1575 MHz memiliki nilai Return Loss sebesar -11,242 dB dan VSWR sebesar 1,75 sedangkan pada frekuensi 1800 MHz didapatkan nilai Return Loss sebesar -12,831 dB dan VSWR 1,59 dengan pola radiasi unidirectional dan polarisasi ellips, nilai gain sebesar 4,54 dBi untuk frekuensi 1575 MHz dan 4,89 dBi untuk frekuensi 1800 MHz serta nilai directivity berurutan sebesar 6,43 dB dan 6,63 dB. Bandwidth antena hasil pengukuran didapatkan sebesar 78 MHz dan 196 MHz.Kata Kunci— Mikrostrip, circular array, VSWR,dab GP

    Investigation of the Electrochemical Properties of CoAl-Layered Double Hydroxide/Ni(OH)2

    Layered double hydroxides (LDH) as active electrode materials have become the focus of research in energy storage applications. The manufacturing of excellent electrochemical performance of the LDH electrode is still a challenge. In this paper, the production of CoAl-LDH@Ni(OH)2 is carried out in two steps, including hydrothermal and electrodeposition techniques. The prominent features of this electrode material are shown in the structural and morphological aspects, and the electrochemical properties are investigated by improving the conductivity and cycle stability. The core of this experimental study is to investigate the properties of the materials by depositing different amounts of nickel hydroxide and changing the loading of the active materials. The experimental results show that the specific capacity is 1810.5F·g−1 at 2 A/g current density and the cycle stability remained at 76% at 30 A g−1 for 3000 cycles. Moreover, a solid-state asymmetric supercapacitor with CoAl-LDH@Ni(OH)2 as the positive electrode and multi-walled carbon nanotube coated on the nickel foam as the negative electrode delivers high energy density (16.72 Wh kg−1 at the power density of 350.01 W kg−1). This study indicates the advantages of the design and synthesis of layered double hydroxides, a composite with excellent electrochemical properties that has potential applications in energy storage

    Zero-shot Audio Topic Reranking using Large Language Models

    The Multimodal Video Search by Examples (MVSE) project investigates using video clips as the query term for information retrieval, rather than the more traditional text query. This enables far richer search modalities such as images, speaker, content, topic, and emotion. A key element for this process is highly rapid, flexible, search to support large archives, which in MVSE is facilitated by representing video attributes by embeddings. This work aims to mitigate any performance loss from this rapid archive search by examining reranking approaches. In particular, zero-shot reranking methods using large language models are investigated as these are applicable to any video archive audio content. Performance is evaluated for topic-based retrieval on a publicly available video archive, the BBC Rewind corpus. Results demonstrate that reranking can achieve improved retrieval ranking without the need for any task-specific training data

    Synthesis and Characterization of a NiCo2O4@NiCo2O4 Hierarchical Mesoporous Nanoflake Electrode for Supercapacitor Applications

    In this study, we synthesized binder-free NiCo2O4@NiCo2O4 nanostructured materials on nickel foam (NF) by combined hydrothermal and cyclic voltammetry deposition techniques followed by calcination at 350 °C to attain high-performance supercapacitors. The hierarchical porous NiCo2O4@NiCo2O4 structure, facilitating faster mass transport, exhibited good cycling stability of 83.6% after 5000 cycles and outstanding specific capacitance of 1398.73 F g−1 at the current density of 2 A·g−1, signifying its potential for energy storage applications. A solid-state supercapacitor was fabricated with the NiCo2O4@NiCo2O4 on NF as the positive electrode and the active carbon (AC) was deposited on NF as the negative electrode, delivering a high energy density of 46.46 Wh kg−1 at the power density of 269.77 W kg−1. This outstanding performance was attributed to its layered morphological characteristics. This study explored the potential application of cyclic voltammetry depositions in preparing binder-free NiCo2O4@NiCo2O4 materials with more uniform architecture for energy storage, in contrast to the traditional galvanostatic deposition methods

    Nephroprotective Effect of Garlic Chives (Allium Tuberosum) on Bun and Creatinine Levels of Wistar Rats Induced by Doxorubicin

    Cancer is the most leading disease that cause of death. Doxorubicin chemotherapy is often used in cancer treatment, because of its effectiveness. Although doxorubicin has a positive effect for killing cancer cell, doxorubicin has many side effects, one of which doxorubicin can cause kidney damage through the process of interstitial fibrosis. Utilization garlic chives extract as co chemotherapy to reduce renal damage induced by doxorubicin is a prospective opportunities. This study aimed to analyze the effect of garlic chives extract as a nephroprotective on levels of BUN and creatinine of wistar rats induced by doxorubicin. The research method was quasi experimental design with post test only randomized controlled group. The results showed that extracts of garlic chives can reduce levels of BUN and creatinine (p <0.05) in the group that only induced by doxorubicin. In conclusion, extract of garlic chives has nephroprotecive effects on wistar rats which were induced by doxorubicin

    Strategi Formulasi Pakan yang Tepat bagi Performan Ayam Kampung (Gallus domesticus) Menggunakan Near Infra-Red Spectroscopy (NIRS): Studi Regulasi Konsumsi Pakan

    Tujuan eksperimen ini adalah untuk mempelajari regulasi konsumsi pakan pada ayam kampung fase starter yang diberi pakan dengan protein berbeda, Eksperimen dilakukan dalan rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) menggunakan DOC ayam kampung yang diberi perlakauan P1=14%, P2=18%, P3=22%, dan P4=26% protein pakan. Formulasi pakan didasarkan atas hasil analisis bahan pakan menggunakan NIRS. Hipotesis penelitian yang diuji adalah bahwa konsumsi pakan ayam kampung diatur oleh dietary protein dimana konsumsi akan menurun pada saat terjadi defisiensi dan kelebihan protein pakan. Parameter yang diamati meliputi konsumsi pakan (KP), pertambahan bobot badan (PBB), dan rasio konversi pakan (RKP). Hasil analisis varian menunjukkanbahwa protein pakan tidak berpengaruh terhadap KP dan RKP akan tetapi berngaruh nyata terhadap PBB Pertumbuhan ayamadalah kontribusi dari protein pakan dimana P3 (protein pakan 22%) menghasilkan PBB tertinggi. Kebutuhan protein pakanuntuk ayam kampung untuk adalah 22.83% pada level energi metabolis 2800 kkal/kg

    Tribo-mechanical properties evaluation of HA/TiO2/CNT nanocomposite

    In this study, a combination of reverse microemulsion and hydrothermal techniques were used to synthesize HA. A hydrothermal method was used to synthesize HA/TiO2/CNT nanocomposite powders. Cold and hot isostatic pressing techniques were used to fabricate tablet-shaped samples. To investigate the biocompatibility and tribo-mechanical properties of HA/TiO2 and HA/TiO2/CNTs, four samples were prepared with different percentages of CNTs, namely, HA/TiO2 (S0), HA/TiO2/CNT (S1.0), HA/TiO2/CNT (S2.0), and HA/TiO2/CNT (S3.0). The microstructure and morphology of the HA/TiO2/CNTs were characterized by transmission electron microscopy, scanning electron microscopy, energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy, and X-ray diffraction. Hardness test results show that S3.0 displayed the highest surface hardness (285 HV) compared to other samples. The wear rate of HA/TiO2/CNT with the highest CNT content showed a decrease compared with those of the other samples. The results from nanoindentation tests showed that Young's modulus of the S3.0 sample was 58.1% greater than that of the S0 sample.
