The Effect of Intellectual Transformation for Postmodernism on Structure Plans in Iraq

The intellectual transformations that followed the Second World War sought to find radical solutions to the challenges faced by the world city in the reconstruction process and how to transform the spatial dimension of these cities into a productive component of production rather than a challenge to the weak potential of the spatial plan. The intellectual movement known as postmodernism, affecting on all the concepts at this stage as an intellectual reaction to what the global system of challenges of capitalism and its effects on the restriction of building the spatial dimension, both within cities or outside it, which included the basic concepts that dealt with the spatial plan and what the principles according to the spatial dimension, research, trying to detect the effectsof this movement and its relationship to dimension and strategic thinking to develop structural plans in Iraq

Development of a plastic dosimeter for industrial use with high doses

These films contain a mixture of two dyes namely bromothymol blue (BTB) and methyl orange (MO) indicator with different concentration of alanine in poly(vinyl alcohol). The color of this film changes from green to pale yellow. The response of these films can be modified by changing the alanine concentration and the ratio of the two dyes. As a result, these films can be used as a dosimeter in high dose range. The dosimetric parameter, e.g. dose response, effect of relative humidity,  pre- and post-irradiation stability of these films are investigated

Analysis and Comparative Master Plan of Hindiya City with its Morphological Development

The master plan of the city most important planning tools to regulate land uses, where, and to meet the needs of the citizens for different services, according to the criteria and indicators developed in order to achieve the well-being of its population, and thus control the growth of the city and the various trends. The study goals to research the essence of the difference between the master plan of the stomach with the reality of the situation and the causes of non-implementation of these designs as planned, and compared to the present uses planned and implemented with the standards of planning to determine the efficiency of services provided to residents of this city. And found through search changes non studied in land use within the master plan the result of political decisions which have been under which convert some of the uses of green areas and public buildings to residential uses, in addition to the nonimplementation of the master plans fully despite the end of the time period for the implementation of this design, and the lack of conformity and planned uses of the land implementing to the current criteria planning and by following a lack of services provided to residents of this city, and the city suffers addition, there are many residential areas as a result of non-implementation of the master plan and irregular random fragmentation of the groves, which led to increased pressure on servicesresidential neighborhoods adjacent to these areas. One of the main conclusions of her research that the master plan of the Hindiya city has not been prepared in accordance with the contexts of planning, in addition tonot rely on the principle of feedback at the implementation, which occur randomly in the implementation, and thus the lack of the master plan for which it was intended. And study recommended the necessity meet the needs of the city from different services to get to the level of planning standards, in addition to the fast development of treatments for residential areas irregulars by preparing designs and sectoral its regularopen streets and provide them with the necessary services

Control and adaptive modified function projective synchronization of different hyperchaotic dynamical systems

In this work, we consider an adaptive control method, which is simpler and generalized to obtain some conditions on the parameters for hyperchaotic models determined by using a Lyapunov direct method. Further, an adaptive controller for synchronization is designed by using Lyapunov functions by which the deriving system and the response system can realize adaptive modified function projective synchronization up to scaling matrix. Numerical simulation of each system is discussed in detail with graphical results. The graphical results are presented in detail in order to validate the theoretical results. These results in this article generalize and improve the corresponding results of the recent works

The Effectiveness of PowerPoint Software in Developing Mathematical Skills among of Students with Special Needs in Jordan

The study aimed to reveal the effectiveness of the PowerPoint software in developing the skills of mathematical operations among students with special needs in Jordan. To achieve the aim of the study, the method was used (semi-experimental) for its suitability for the purposes of the study, where the researchers chose an intentional sample of (40) students with special needs and they were randomly distributed into two groups (experimental and control), and the two study tools were prepared, which were the achievement test (pre-post). And test the transmission of the effect of learning after verifying their validity and reliability. The results of the study showed that the use of the PowerPoint software has contributed to the development of the skills of arithmetic operations (addition - subtraction), and that the software has a clear impact on the transmission of the learning effect among students. In light of these results, the study recommended the use of PowerPoint software in developing all mathematical operations skills among students with learning disabilities

Reliability Based Factors of Safety for VIV Fatigue Using NDP Riser High Mode VIV Tests

Understanding the level of conservatism in a riser system design for vortex-induced vibration (VIV) fatigue is an important issue for operators. This study represents a demonstration of the calibration methodology to derive consistent values for the Factor of Safety (FoS). The exercise is performed here based on medium scale VIV data and utilizing the most commonly used VIV prediction software by industry. Cloud computing represents a kind of computing that is based on the sharing of computing resources instead of possessing personal devices or local servers for handling several applications and tasks. This kind of computing includes three distinguished kinds of services provided remotely for clients that can be accessed by using the Internet. Typically, clients work on paying annual or monthly service fees for suppliers, in order to gain access to systems that work on delivering infrastructure as a service, platforms as a service, and software as a service for any subscriber. In this paper, the usefulness and the abuse of the cloud computing are briefly discussed and presented by highlighting the influences of cloud computing in different areas. Moreover, this paper also presents the kinds and services of cloud. In addition, the security issues that cover the cloud security solution requirements, and the cloud security issues, which is one of the biggest issues in recent years in cloud computing were presented in this paper. The security requirement that needs by the cloud computing covers privacy, lack of user control, unauthorized secondary usage, and finally data proliferation and data flow. Meanwhile, the security issues cover including ownership of device, the trust issue and legel aspects. To overcome the security issues, this paper also presents the solution at the end of this paper
