The disinformation society

Desinformação enquanto um fenômeno social criou uma nova desordem global, onde as novas condições de produção, circulação e consumo de informação fizeram das notícias falsas um importante instrumento geoestratégico que, associado às técnicas híbridas, coloca as ações das mídias comunicacionais em sintonia na geração de notícias falsas. Analisamos a maneira como os meios de comunicação disseminam informações tomando como base cinco filtros indicados por Chomsky e Herman (2003): Filtro 1: Importância, propriedade e orientação dos benefícios dos meios de comunicação; Filtro 2: A publicidade como principal fonte de renda; Filtro 3: O fornecimento de notícias para a mídia; Filtro 4: As medidas corretivas como método para disciplinar a mídia; Filtro 5: Anticomunismo como mecanismo de controle. A análise realizada demonstra que, além de notícias falsas, as notícias reais são manipuladas e orientadas para polarizar ideologicamente, requerendo uma adaptação da sociedade na construção de marcos regulatórios, ao passo que as empresas (desenvolvedoras das redes sociais, por exemplo) e seus logaritmos não conseguem contrariar as redes globais da desinformação que atravessam países, continentes e línguas.Disinformation has created a new global disorder, where the new conditions of production, circulation and consumption of information have made disinformation an important geostrategic tool that, associated with hybrid techniques, requires a reformulation of the action of communication media. We analyzed the way the media disseminate information based on five filters indicated by Chomsky and Herman (2003): Filter 1: Importance, ownership and orientation of the benefits of the media; Filter 2: Advertising as the main source of income; Filter 3: The provision of news to the media; Filter 4: The corrective measures as a method to discipline the media; Filter 5: Anticommunism as a control mechanism. The analysis carried out shows that, in addition to false news, real news are manipulated and oriented to polarize, requiring an adaptation of society in the construction of a new cognitive muscle. And social networks cannot counteract the global highways of disinformation that cross countries, continents and languages

Impact Of Micronutrients Supplementation On Bone Repair Around Implants: Microct And Counter-torque Analysis In Rats

The use of natural substances and micronutritional approaches has been suggested as a therapeutic alternative to benefit the bone healing associated with no side effects. Nevertheless, the influence of micronutritional interventions with therapeutic proprieties on the bone repair has yet to be intensely evaluated, and no evidence is available exploring the impact of micronutrient supplementation on the peri-implant bone healing. Objective This study investigated the effect of micronutrients supplementation on the bone repair around implants. Material and Methods One screw-shaped titanium implant was inserted in each tibia of each rat, which were assigned to: daily administration, for 30 d, of the placebo solution (Placebo group-n:18) or micronutrients supplementation (Micronutrients group-n:18), based on calcium, magnesium, zinc, and vitamin D3 intake. After, the animals were sacrificed. One of the implants was removed by applying a counter-torque force to evaluate the force to rupture the bone-implant interface. The other implant was evaluated by microcomputed tomography (CT) examination to determine the bone-to-implant contact (BIC) and the bone volume (BV/TV). Results No statistically significant differences were observed between the groups for both counter-torque values and microCT parameters (p>0.05). Conclusion Within the limits of this study, micronutrients supplementation did not provide additional benefits to the bone healing around dental implants.241455

Experimental evaluation and simulation of geodesic structures of bamboo reinforced with cables

O objetivo deste trabalho é analisar o comportamento do reforço feito com cabos de nylon trançado feito em estruturas geodésicas construída com barras de bambu cilíndricas e maciças unidas com resina de poliéster com carga mineral. As cúpulas geodésicas estudadas têm a forma de meio icosaedro truncado e foram construídas com barras comerciais de bambu Phyllostachys pubescens com 4 mm de diâmetro e comprimento de 175 mm. O software de simulação de engenharia ANSYS foi usado para desenhar e simular a estrutura da cúpula sob carga, com e sem o reforço de cabos. O modelo geodésico, construído e testado através de carregamento vertical, mostrou resultados de deflexão no regime elástico muito semelhantes ao comportamento previsto pelo modelo computacional. Enquanto que a estrutura sem reforço apresentou grandes deformações e resistiu 14,8 vezes o seu próprio peso com comportamento linear e 23 vezes o seu próprio peso sem ruptura, a estrutura reforçada com cabos amarrados resistiu comparativamente o dobro de carga vertical final com apenas 40% da deflexão apresentada pela estrutura sem reforço, mostrando a efetividade do uso dos cabos de nylon como reforço amarrado. Tal comportamento havia sido previsto pela simulação numérica
